(idk how this character will end up but oh well)
With the wind at her back and her sword at her side, a figure that appeared to be cut out from the night sky stood at the border to Springclan. It'd be rude to enter, no matter how much the beautiful fields beckoned her forward. Whether she was an old friend who had just come back, or a stranger no one would recognize, it was only the story that would know. The only thing the she-cat could do was face that future head on.
"BESTIE!!!!!!" Before another second could tick by, a flurry of white fur slammed into the new arrival and sent them both tumbling head over paws. "I'd recognize that sword anywhere! Still got that dingy old thing? Oh gosh, so much has happened. I have so much to fill you in on! Where have you been?"

"There she goes again... off without a trace..." Goldengriffon griped as he followed after her.
"Dancingdragon, please don't just tackle someone like that...!" The deputy said as he made his way over to them. "At least not without properly introducing yourself.."

Really, she shouldn't have been surprised. Suddenly tackled by her excitable best friend that she totally remembered. The dingy piece of metal clanged against her hip as the pair went rolling. But once they finally stabilized, Celestialroar couldn't help the grin on her face. "Well, as they say. I've been here... and there." Truly nothing changed, not even her tone of voice. "But I see a lot has changed with you." She then looked up at Goldengriffon with a curious expression.
Dancingdragon waved a paw dismissively as Celestialroar looked at her, then Goldengriffon. "Yeah... a lot has changed. Remember old Greybeard here? He only has one white hair on his chin when we were little, but he's that little nerdy Goldenkit. He's deputy temporarily and we're mates now," she chattered. Turning to her mate, she glared. "Are you telling me you don't recognize her? We only made your life a little harder all of the time."
"A friend of yours?" Jetstar said drily, rounding out the night patrol of SpringClan. OF course once Dancingdragon had her kits she was quick to leave them with the first babysitter who'd accept watching them for the night.
She considered Celestialroar, and clearly from the way she acted and Dancingdragon spoke that this cat was an acquaintance of Goldengriffon... and a friend to Dancingdragon.
Well it wasn't as if Dancingdragon had no shortage of minions in SpringClan, what was one more?

Goldengriffon had simply watched Dancingdragon, shaking his head with a soft chuckle.
"Greybeard...?" He muttered, stroking his chin. "It hasn't gotten that grey... has it? Wait... hold on, Dancingdragon I didn't have any grey hairs when we were kits. This is a recent development. Did you just say temporary, please stop plotting Jetstar's death" The pale tabby added quickly. Though, he did narrow his eyes.
"Celestialroar...? I can't believe it! It really is you!"

At the mention of the pair being mates, Celestialroar burst into laughter. A loud and uncontrollable laughter that she couldn't stop until tears were in her eyes. Throwing in the intermingling words of "I called it" and "I can't believe it actually happened" until she calmed down. Laughter slowed like a tide receding back into the ocean, and she wiped her eyes with the back of her paw. "Ohhhhhhhh haha. Wow Dancing. Congratulations. Of course. To both of you." Celestialroar pulled herself off of the ground, reaching up to tap on Goldengriffon's chin. "Nah, I remember when your first one grew in. You really thought it was the end of the world." She said with a soft smile, turning to acknowledge Jetstar. "Yes. I grew here with Dancing and Golden. Based on your aura, are you perhaps the new leader?"
Jetstar nodded, "I am, I'm Jetstar, Goldengriffon is my deputy, and Dancingdragon is among my council of trusted." She said gesturing to them. "I am curious to know where your life has taken you," She meowed. "As I haven't seen you among the clans number as of late."

"Well of course I did." Goldengriffon said with a chuckle. "You try being an apprentice with graying fur. It only gave the two of you more fuel to use against me."
The pale tabby twitched his whiskers as he stood next to Jetstar. "A lot has happened since you've been gone, Celestialroar. Other than what Dancingdragon has already told you. We were left leaderless for almost a moon before Jetstar was chosen by Starclan."

"Oh, well. Just hither and thither." Celestialroar's tail flicked all over the place, it was clear that was about as much as Jetstar was gonna get out of her. Her thoughts had been muddled for a while now, but she didn't want to admit it. A thought came to her, and she leaned into Dancingdragon a bit.
"Remember the guy from the no name clan that caught my eye? Well, that sure didn't work out. His whole clan got flooded in. Luckily we broke up beforehand, but it was awfully inconvenient." Granted, it was moons ago and it took her moons to find her old home again. She checked her scroll to not ever do that again.
"Aw, Golden, you know I can't imagine that." She said with a chuckle, running a paw through the pitch black fur around her scruff. "It sounds like a lot has happened. Thank you for taking care of my home clan and friends, Jetstar."
Jetstar chuckled. "The clan and your friends take care of me just as much as I them." She said whiskers twitching.
Which actually made the tan and black she cat pause.
When she'd taken over SpringClan she'd been high on the thrill of the power that had been placed in her paws. The thirst for vengeance against Bloodycrow, and for power.
But... after some point that changed.
In SunClan Jetstar had been on a hair trigger, always feeling like she needed to prove something, prove how strong she was.
And then in SpringClan, despite arguably having more resistance in the form of cats like Dovewish, Lightstep and Dancingdragon who challenged her leadership.
It was... arguably the most comfortable she'd been.
Sure she and Dancingdragon would argue and Dancingdragon would act like a tyrant despite only being a Trusted. But there was no cat that Jetstar knew was as commited to SpringClan as Dancingdragon was.
She could see herself in Dancingdragon and so she knew that Dancingdragon wouldn't actually try to kill her. At least in a low underhanded way, despite the she cats threats.
And then Goldengriffon had been slowly but surely urging Jetstar to the path of peace (though it had helped that Jetstar had taken ill when the time for war had likely been best).
They truly had cared for her as had SpringClan and Jetstar hadn't really sat down and thought about that until now.
