Bravewolf didn't know why he was seeking out Gingersnap. Well, no, he knew exactly why.
This morning, he had this distinct feeling that she'd invited him to a tea party of some sort out in the sunflower field, but when he wandered over, all he found awaiting him was a broken down table covered in half-dead moss. A bunch of gemstones were scattered around in the dirt, dull as if the magic of this party had long faded. His paws drew him to a particular place, and a fire opal half sticking out of the ground. He gently dug it up, wiping it on a patch of moss to clean off the dirt until it gleamed when it caught the light.
He carried the stone in a leaf pouch as he headed to DayClan, suspecting he'd find her somewhere there, though even with god-abilities, he couldn't explain how or why he had such a hunch. He just knew, and chalked it up to missing memories that he didn't understand it all.
"And then," She repeated before falling into a deep fit of giggles once more. Wiping a stray tear from her eyes her laughter subsided, "Okay okay, as I was saying, and th-" She burst into laughter again, unable to even finish the story she had been telling to Harvestcharm.
"Always wonderful talking to you," Harvestcharm said while inspecting an opal and a crows feather. Ever since he came to DayClan he became more interested in mothers studies of alchemy.
"It's a good story!" Gingersnap whined.
"Yeah okay chatter mouth," Harvestcharm snickered just as the feather flew away in the winds. He looked in the direction it went off to before spotting Bravewolf nearing them. "Hey Gingersnap-"
"No!" Gingersnap pouted, refusing to even look in his direction, "You don't talk to someone like that and call them a chatter mouth and then expect them to help you get more feathers."
"Ginger-"
"Nope! Not even going to amuse it," Gingersnap said defiantly, but had a clever smirk, figuring she was just teasing her little brother, not that he actually wanted her attention for the person approaching them.
"Hi, I'm Harvestcharm, a DayClan cat, are you looking for someone?" Harvestcharm asked politely with the usual DayClan introduction they were all taught to greet outsiders with. Of course, SunClan cats were always greeted with a pinch more of caution.

He'd hoped to corner her alone, but as fate would have it, that clearly seemed to not be the case today. In fact, Gingersnap seemed to be ignoring him, which was actually on par for what he expected. It didn't surprise him that she wouldn't want to deal with him, but he cleared hsi throat nonetheless. "I'm Bravewolf, or Damek. Whichever you'd prefer." The silver cinnamon tabby answered around the leaf pouch, his molten amber gaze already drifting to Gingersnap. Leaning down, he set down the pouch on the ground. "I was actually looking for Gingersnap. She invited me to some kind of tea party? But when I showed up, she wasn't there."
Could he have explained more? Sure. But he wasn't altogether sure who knew about him, and it seemed like a bad idea to simply announce one's godhood on a first meeting. It would probably be rude. So instead, he stuck with his name.
Harvestcharm opened his mouth to say something, but stopped when he saw Gingersnap lift up a paw.
"It's alright, I'll talk," Gingersnap said.
Getting to her paws she looked at Bravewolf with a dull expression that looked strange on her usual sunny bright sky blue eyes. "C'mon," She said, leading the way for them to talk away from Harvestcharm, but once she did lead him away from view she immediately spun on her paws. Leaning in close she peered into his gaze curiously before finally moving back, "So you're serious then. I did invite you to a tea party when- well not you, the previous Sun God. I can recognize enough that you're not him him, just- a part of him. I invited your previous self to the tea party when I was a little girl, but you didn't come," She said, before smiling warmly with amusement, "I remember when mom dragged me back home and I blamed her because I felt if we had just stayed one moment longer that he'd show up. I kind of miss those days."
Looking back at him she swatted her paw to the side as though dismissing the thought entirely, "But you're just a big um... CINNAMON BALL bully who taught SunClan to be helpless without you. So I don't wanna throw you some big, super fun, spectacularly awesome tea party anymore. You lost your tea party privileges," Gingersnap said matter of factly, trying to come off as cross, stoic even, but looked more like she was trying hard to resist her instincts to throw a tea party. After all you just say the word party and she already wants to throw herself into it.

"Y'know, that one almost sounded more like a compliment than an insult." Bravewolf mused, though with her tale, he had a sad expression about him, guilt flickering in his eyes that he would miss such an occasion. "When I remembered the invitation, I thought it would be fun to have a tea party, see how good your insults had gotten. It felt like it would be quite the dramatic event."
He opened the pouch he'd brought with him for their conversation. "It's a pity this never got to be a proper centerpiece." The silver tom sighed, picking up the fire opal and pointedly setting it on top of her head like a little hat, and seeming fairly amused with himself for doing so. "Maybe you can include it in your next tea party, so it gets the appreciation it deserves."
There was that little voice in his head, telling him she ought to be grateful he came at all, regardless of how late it had been, that she should have just waited and waited. After all, he was her god, she was supposed to wait for HIS time, and she would be lucky if he would grace her with his presence. But even as the thoughts crossed his mind, the more recent parts of him rejected it, and seemed rather horrified at his own lack of empathy and dismissal of her feelings, even internally. Not that Gingersnap would be able to see this inner struggle, beyond perhaps a bit of a grimace as he reacted to his thoughts.
"My insults are sharper than thunder!" Gingersnap defended herself quickly, but probably a little too quickly as she only thought of the first strong thing to come to mind, but thunder wasn't... It wasn't sharp. Or physical... Regardless! Gingersnap held her gaze onto him, until it became awkward and like she should probably look away right because maintaining eye contact unblinkingly was just super weird and she wasn't a weirdo. So she still blinked and glanced around like a normal person.
However feeling Bravewolf place something smooth atop her head made her fix him with an annoyed expression, but relented. Taking the object off of her head her blue gaze glimmered like sunlight dancing on the blue surface of water. Her paw rubbed over the stone, as though recognizing a familiar friend. Looking back up at Bravewolf her orange ringed curly tail lowered a bit and in turn so did her guard, "Well... I guess you owe me a tea party then," Gingersnap said as though that were just a fact. "Yeah and I want flowers hanging from the trees and moss place mats for our food and I want to be surprised on what the prey is! But as a professional tea partier I will assist you every step of the way. But y'know, only because you owe me, those are just the rules! You're still mean and I am most certainly not throwing you a tea party, this is just a makeup party for the one I should have had... So there," She said with a clever smile like she had this all figured out so she wouldn't look like she was giving in on the temptation of a tea party.

"Ah, yes, that seems about right. I did miss the first one, and it's only reasonable that a bumbling bully like myself knows nothing about proper tea parties." Damek gave a sage nod at her wisdom, managing somehow to keep a mostly straight face through the entire thing, as if it were the most serious thing in the world. "If I am to be planning a tea party, where should I begin?"
"HA! You insulted yourself, you bumble bee bully!" Gingersnap shouted with a squeal of amused laughter. Wiping a tear from the side of her eye she nodded to him, "Okay so we're gonna need spanish moss, regular healthy moss that's dried out, then we're gonna need good looking prey, I'm talking hardly any markings of a kill. Then some colorful rocks that shimmer, NOT glimmer. SHIMMER. This is very important!" She lectured before looking him more sternly in the eye, "And bee brain..." She lost her serious composure, "You better not be a bumble bee bully and just, not come to the party," She said, rubbing the side of her paw anxiously before smiling, but it didn't meet her eyes like it usually did, there was doubt, "Because it's going to be fun," She encouraged him.
"So um. You go look for moss and I'll look for the rocks to make sure they're shimmery perfect, okay?" Gingersnap said before sprinting off in her own direction.
Harvestcharm padded out from where he had been comfortably relaxing in the hopes that maybe he could lounge with Gingersnap again before realizing that activity was dashed. "C'mon, I'll help you find where the moss is at, it's not as easy to find moss in the flat lands as you might think," He said already beginning to lead the way. His cautious gaze looking back at the sun god. Man, this was just awkward, he felt like he was leading a king to find moss of all things!
