DayClan and Renegade Regime have joined forces to attack WinterClan after Wintrystar announced a shared family members scheduled execution. However things take a bad turn for the DC & RR alliance when they're outnumbered and will be forced to back off to return home.
Word had spread from DayClan's forest to the underground tunnels of Renegade Regime of the WinterClan couple, Blazingbluejay and Snakefang's execution. Bluejay was the daughter of Glowstar from DayClan and the son of Lex from Renegade Regime. But the most malevolent part of it was that Wintrystar was using the couple as bargaining chips to lure back the demon kits who had run away from WinterClan during the gathering. She was using their parents to bait them back.
Luckily Renegade Regime and DayClan were allies, which was exactly why the two combined forces to raid an attack on WinterClan underground to save the WinterClan couple. Commander Shule was leading the strike while Glowstar stayed back in DayClan.
DAYCLAN Harvestcharm had been lying in wait beneath the tunnels for a while so when the strike was finally ordered he was almost startled. Rising to his paws he sprinted out from the tunnel and into WinterClan territory, hurdling straight into their camp.
He hadn't particularly wanted to be a part of this raid, but long fur cats were all heavily enlisted to be a part of the battle. He looked back at his brother Fairytalehunt, he figured this must be hard on him, after all his brother had shorter fur, but had come anyways. He figured it was to get revenge on Wintrystar for the large scar she had left on his face, but instead Fairytalehunt appeared distracted, likely losing his nerve.
RENEGADE REGIME Rottenfang was feeling stronger than he ever felt, for as much as the Regime struggled with prey, it was nothing compared to the scraps he used to be eating before. WinterClan had done nothing, but abuse him, now all he wanted to do was return the favor.
Rottenfang collided into the first WinterClan warrior he could. His body wildly gripped onto the cat sending both of them tumbling down as he clumsily tried to swat his claws into the cats face or really anywhere he could hit. Just because he was in better health didn't suddenly make him a fighter. He had never been trained to fight properly. The lack of expertise was too blatant to ignore.
WINTERCLAN Dottymask got up, her wary violet gaze watching the approaching crowd like it were a dream. A part of her must have woken up though as she let out a loud yowl to alert the rest of camp. The knight of the stars normally wouldn't back down from a challenge, but this time, as a queen, still nursing her new litter of kits she had with Silverfury she wasn't exactly eager to jump into a fight unless she had to.
Howlingnight cocked his head to the side, "How amusing, they want to fight us," He said to Wintrystar as he observed the warriors rapidly approaching them, "So should we send them beaten and battered or sobbing like kits for mercy?" His icy blue slits turned to his mate curiously as he flexed his ebony black claws, ready to strike at any warrior who neared him.
RENEGADE REGIME Commander Shule had this all planned out in her head. So when she called for attack, she didn't hesitate in surging forward. The white pawed she-cat wasn't as built as she normally was, thanks to moons lacking in prey, but the lands beneath DayClan had replenished her spirit greatly, as well as her stomach to some extent. The sleek black feline hurtled forward, crystalline eyes determined and stoic, though a few flickers of rage peeked through to anyone nearby to her.
Lex wasn't about to miss this fight. His daughter was the one threatened to be executed, and he'd already told Shule if he had the chance, he wouldn't hesitate to try and kill Wintrystar, though the likelihood that actually happened was quite low. He might be a Scout, but he knew how to fight, and in this situation, it was good enough to get himself allowed to participate.
DAYCLAN Pandora might be lacking in her powers in WinterClan... but that didn't stop the daughter of Glowstar and Vixenkismet from being right at the front. She had a sister to avenge, and she wanted those who hurt her sister buried. And she fully intended to get what she wanted.
Sen, much like Pandora, was on the warpath. Her eyes were blank and dead. It had been a while now, since Fia had been declared dead, and despite the fact she still was trying to hold on hope, with each day that passed, her absence became more and more real. SO, instead of wallowing in her grief, she was going to turn that and her anger on WinterClan, quite intent on leaving as many bodies in her wake as she could today. The tall feline was.. probably not the one you wanted to fight right now, in all honesty. She wasn't a League Proxy for nothing, despite Funk probably wondering why he even kept her around.
Icepaw was mostly a short-furred tom but his tail was bushy and his pelt thick. The cold didn't bother him much and the fact that it was spring helped. The dark-furred tom was more curious about the elusive WinterClan camp and cats that actually fighting, so, while he looked very engaged in the battle, the truth was that he was just weaving through the crowd, taking and giving the occasional smack, as he explored. It was pretty nerve-wracking but Icepaw was cool as, well, and ice-cube. He was totally digging the life-and-death thrill of it all though (OPEN)
RENEGADE REGIME
Mercenary Sapphira's heart wasn't totally into this fight, but it didn't matter, Commander Shule ordered her attendance so she'd lend her strength to DayClan without any qualms. The stunning silver-tabby she-cat was right in her element in the midst of battle and launched herself right into it unflinchingly (OPEN).
WINTERCLAN
Silverfury was furious. The fact that two lowly groups dared pick a fight with WinterClan in WinterClan territory was truly the ultimate insult, it said that those of the outside critically underestimated the mountain Clan. After all, it took a very specific and pure set of genes to even live here, much less fight. DayClan and the Regime did not stand a chance. He wanted to kill every single one of them and it it, but... his heart led him to the nursery. Protecting Dottymask and their kits was his most important mission for they were WinterClan's bright and shining future.
Shouldering his way through an opening too narrow for him, he quickly located his mate and their kits, "Dottymask." He breathed, relieved to see that none of the fighting had made it here just yet. He counted his children quickly then returned his silver gaze to his mate, "We are likely surrounded, but we will not lose. Protect the kits and I will protect you."
He didn't give he a lot of time to reply before he turned his head toward his back, a low growl rumbling from the back of his throat. There was an intruder in the nursery already !? (Faith & OPEN)
~*~
"This is bad." Wolfconstellation had himself tucked away in an easy to miss corner of camp. He was a very small tom, about the size of an apprentice despite being full grown, and his light colored fur made him easy to miss in the cold and gray landscape. He was totally alone but had a gnawing worry in the pit of his stomach as he didn't see Arcticsong anywhere. It was such a pain being in love... He sighed dramatically and poked his head out from his safe space, "Arcticsong, where are you?" He whispered to himself, trying to locate her golden fur in the frey before being found himself (OPEN).

DAYCLAN Buzzingswarm yowled loudly as he entered onto the battle field, taking a moment to make sure that Fairytalehunt was faring well before his eyes settled on his target. He had been the first to volunteer to come fight in this battle, his claws aching to get back at the she-cat who had hurt his mate so terribly all those moons ago. Wasting no time, he charged through the fray of cats, not engaging with any of them even as claws raked at his pelt. With Howlingnight's attention on his mate, he used that to his advantage. Leaping over them tom, straight at Wintrystar paoFaith
WINTERCLAN Roseshade emerged, eyes scanning the battlefield, her claws digging into the snow. The itch to join in and fight was strong, but she had to remind herself that her battle lied elsewhere now. Instead she used the skills she had learned as a warrior to assess the situation, looking for those that were injured so that she could pull them out of the fight before it grew fatal. Most medicine cat's stayed out of the fray, but she wasn't a medicine cat. She was WinterClan's witch, and she wasn't afraid of a little blood or fighting. She wasn't intending to engage with those that had invaded camp, but those that tried would soon learn she wasn't the easy target she seemed to be.
Wintrystar narrowed her eyes form her place beside her mate. "Why not both. Beat them, bloody them, and send them home like the misbehaved kits they are. She was furious that they dared attack her clan, especially now after all the other clans had done. They cut them off, scolded them like they were the children in these situations, and now the had the balls to attack them in their home turf? StarClan may rule the other clans, but here the Gods are in favor and they actually tended to their followers. The other clans wanted to call them rogues, not respect them as a clan, then so be it. They would act like the rogues they were being called. "Attack! Do not hold back, WinterClan. Defend you home, kill who you must! Remind them why we are not to be messed with!" Her words had barely left her mouth when a body hit her. She rolled with the hit, even more furious now as she rose to face her attacker. Initially, she assumed it would be Glowstar or Shule or someone else of high ranking, but she did not know of this cat at all. How disappointing. racer
Pomegranatepaw was one of the first out of the cave's entryway once her mother called the attack. Her eyes spotted a student age cat weaving the the crowd, trying to do what? She didn't know and didn't care, she'd have their blood on her claws for the mere thought that these cats could best WinterClan. Did these peasants not know their place?! Beneath her claws and her mercy, dead if she wished it, alive only if she wished it. She is the Sovereign's daughter! A princess of Winter! How dare they attack her home and believe they will live for it. The bloodthirsty student charged at Icepaw, not stopping even when they went rolling from the force. Jadie
Rowanstrike attempts to take a stand at the entrance to camp. Head of him he can see that Wintrystar and many others have rushed out to engage in battle, but he plans to guard the entrance to camp just as he was doing before all of this began. The large, mean looking (has rbf face) tom takes a stand, body ready to strike as he guards the west side of the entrance, hoping his partner, the other guard will also hold their position and maybe they can succeed in keeping all foreign cats out of camp and away from the ancients and youths of the clan.
Wolftundra is out for blood, his faithful servant at his side. The tom loves battle, lives for it and will not let this one pass without spilling someone's blood. He doesn't care how the managed to get this far into the territory without notice, but he'd be having words wit the patrols on duty once it all over. Words that would involve his claws to their faces. Before then, he'd enjoy the battle and beat back all he could. Oh how, he was itching to see them run like mice when they realized it takes a certain kind of cat to be able to live and fight in the snow of the mountain. Only the strong survive here, and they would learn that first hand. Faith
(Just a reminder to all, WinterClan's camp is inside of a cave. It's a cavern with one way in and one way out, a giant crack like opening in the ground on a small hill like elevation as the ground leads higher towards the mountain top)
WinterClan How dare they. This was sacred ground, and those fools chose to attack the place where they held their kits! At the sound of Wintrystar's battle cry he rushed from his den. He couldn't help but get a little excited at seeing all of the cats pour in. He had trained for this countless times. He prepared for this day. And now he would make Howlingnight proud. The tom let out a battle cry of his own as he ran into the fray. (Open, someone beat this guy up. Definitely scar him, pretty much wherever.)
Soullessabomination did was doing what she was told to do before the battle: not make herself noticeable. She had set herself to the side of the cave, and made herself almost invisible. But as soon as the cats started to charge in, the she-cat knew that duty called. She rose to her paws and charged at the incoming cats with soulless eyes leading her onward. This was her purpose. If she died, she died. No harm done to her Clan. (Open)
Icepaw didn't see Pomegranatepaw coming until it was too late. He felt her razor-sharp claws dig into his shoulder and then the force of her blow sent him rolling across the rigid stone floor. The unforgiving cave knocked the wind out of him and was, in the heat of the moment, a considerably worse foe than the cat who very nearly had him pinned to the ground.
"You're too pretty to be fighting so brutally, love," Icepaw said, relaxing slightly as if he were giving up, but it was just a feint. Seconds later he kicked at her stomach with his hind legs with all of his might, then to knock her far away from him so he could get enough time to slip back into the crowd. pao
WINTERCLAN
Sinfulatrocity stood near the back of camp, a well-protected corner where the enemy had not yet breached. She knew a battle like this was coming someday but never in her wildest dreams did she believe it would be so soon. He heart beat rapidly as she scanned the crowd for a familiar auburn-furred pelt that belonged to a certain DayClan tom that she didn't want to be anywhere near all of this fighting... (Spot & OPEN)

Renegade Regime: Mercenary Alese Soulaine was ready to fight and rumble. All he knew was it was his job to do this and he would do it without hesitation. Dark marigold eyes shone in the slightly darkened cave when he smelled a Winterclan cat come his way. He didn't know whom it was but he was ready to fight and defend his fellow fighters. Claws unsheathed he whipped around last minute avoiding a great strike although slightly catching the tail end of a scratch. "Is that the best you can do? Pretty sad if you ask me. You're gonna want to do better than that if you're going up against a Mercenary like me." (Open)
Back at camp Chaman Braelynn Kinsley was pacing back and forth in her area. She was as stocked in supplies as she would be but could only pace as that was all she could do at the moment. She was aware of what was going to happen but not when it would start or how long before it would end. How many would be hurt, limping back into camp to have their wounds licked? How many would just be a number on a casualty list? Would they win or would they lose? She didn't know and even though she hoped all would fall in their favor there was no way to say if it would be so. It's not that she didn't have faith in her fellow Regime mates but something felt off and it made her pelt stand on end. It was all in her mind and everything would be okay...right?

DAYCLAN Buzzingswarm felt his claws meet flesh, though where he wasn't certain since he was soaring over Howlingnight to get to WIntrystar. The two of them rolled, as the WinterClan leader got to her feet rising to face him, leaving his back open to attack from her mate. The flame siamese's fur was bristled outwards, a deep growl rumbling in his throat "You hurt Fairytalehunt, left him scarred" his blue eyes simmering with fury "You almost killed him" his tail lashed from one side to the other as he stood before the winterclan leader, her blood on his claws Faithpao
WINTERCLAN Dappledglacier launched herself forward out of the warrior's den, ready to fight for her clan as Wintrystar's orders rang out. A grin spread across her face, so they had full permission to kill. Last time WinterClan went to battle Dapledgalcier had been nursing kits, but now that her children were apprentices she was ready to defend their home. She launched herself at mercenary Saphira Jadie
Cardinalglow now found himself face with one of the regime's mercenaries. To be honest he had never been much of a fighter, but he wasn't about to allow that to stop him from keeping these invaders away from the nursery. His mate had recently given birth and he wasn't about to just stand by and watch "You are fighting for glory, I am fighting for family" he growled "We will see which wins out in the end" ashestoashes
Even though Sapphira was on guard, she very nearly missed Dappledglacier's assault, sidestepping at the very last second to avoid the full on brunt of the larger she-cat's strength. Without so much of a squeak, the silver-furred feline lifted her front paw and aimed a parry at Dappledglacier's paws, hopping to unbalance the she-cat and create an even bigger opening. racer
For the heir of WinterClan, observing the battle that was raging in the clearing was like a nightmare come to life. How had they gotten to this point? She wasn't agonizing over the chain of events, but rather genuinely confused. She knew Wintrystar didn't have the best reputation – every time the sovereign did something even more mousebrained than the last time, her faith in the leader was lessened by a degree. She was obligated to support her highness, of course, she wasn't willing to sacrifice her life to smack Wintrystar upside the head for her foolishness... that didn't mean she didn't want to. The black she-cat withheld a disappointed sigh and picked her way through the battle to stand guard over the nursery. She didn't have any control over anything that managed to turn this beautiful day into an absolute chaotic bloodbath, but she could use what she had at her disposal to protect the children.
MEANWHILE IN THE PRISON –
Amusement danced in crimson-silver eyes as he gazed at the growing scarlet that turned the snow from pearly white to beautiful wine red. It was a relief, in a way, seeing the stark white of this entire horrid wonderland being dirtied by bloodshed. The black tom leaned against the wall of the prison with a soft laugh escaping from his maw, turning his head down and shaking it. How ridiculous. At least he was given a show.

Alese gave a small chuckle, "Funny enough I fight for my family too. If you weren't in Winterclan I would say we would even perhaps strike up a friendship, however seeing as you are on the other side of things..." The mercenary lashed out with surprisingly quickly reflexes with his eyes dilating for battle. A low growl issued through his maw as he felt his claws make contact with something. He held back slightly watching and waiting to see what his adversary had in store.
(Btw I am totally cool if he ends up retreating with a nice new scar over his eye or a torn ear or something.) racer

WINTERCLAN Pomegranatepaw snarled at the tom beneath her, appalled that he would speak to her in such a way. Her distraction was fatal though and allowed the tom to get a good hit in, knocking the wind from her lungs and pushing her away from him. The student nearly lost him in the time it took her to regain her breath, but the moment she had it, she was chasing the tom back own again. "I'm as deadly as I am pretty and you'll do good to remember it!" Jadie
Wintrystar's eyes narrowed at this..kit before her. She had no idea who this Fairytalewho's was and didn't care. There had been many who's crossed her claws in the past and she had never bothered to remember their names before, why start now. "Tell me. What does this scar look like? I'll make you one to match." Her words took on a deadly tone at the end, her claws unsheathed as she sprang at the insolent cat before her. racer
(psst Wolftundra needs someone to attack him, for warning he's got his loyal pet with him to help out. honestly get a good hit in on him, maybe even put a scar through his eye or a good hit into his shoulder or something to leave him with a killer scar. Also someone can engage Rowanstrike, scar him up too, maybe take a toe or something make him look even deadly than he already does with his resting b face face honestly I'm basically imagining him as Jason Todd but with less anger issues and more social failures) Faith

RENEGADE REGIME camp Compared to his mentor pacing back and forth, Tundra Silvius had become as still as a stone on the ground. Anxiety riddled him with tremors as he seemed to get smaller and smaller. When the word spread of Blazingbluejay's potential execution, his heart sank further than it ever had back in Winterclan. No matter how much Lex tried to comfort him, he was a guilty mess. And he probably would have marched back to Winterclan if it hadn't been for his new position. Maybe that's why Shule gave it to him. But really, he wouldn't be able to relax until he saw his mom again. ashestoashes
Huntleigh Eerie had grown into his fur and build, a perfect combination of his parents. And his long fur was perfect for a mission like this. He had his own stakes, after all. He wanted his aunt and cousins safe once and for all, even if it meant pulling them away from what they knew. And this is what he knew, fighting and bloodshed. One blue eye was constantly trained on Rottenfang, to make sure the other tom was okay. He couldn't hold his cousin's hand forever. A pair got a little too close for his comfort, so Huntleigh snapped forward. He grabbed the pet by the scruff, dragging him away from Wolftundra before slamming his head into the rocky floor before lunging at Wolftundra. There was no hesitation in his mind, just the thought of carving one of the tom's eyes out of his skull. pao
DAYCLAN Compared to the anger in her step sister's eyes, Goldenphantom's just looked dead. She barely even looked up as they traversed up the mountain. Fleeting thoughts of Fia filled her mind still. She didn't wanna believe either, that her wife was really dead. But the days that went by made her think otherwise. They were supposed to be standing here side by side, but now she could only watch the chaos by herself. And it barely even broke her skin. (open)
WINTERCLAN Bluepaw ran into the fray, not entirely sure where to start. He should attack someone, do something with his minimal training. But he was quickly over ran by all the stimuli around him. (open)
(i don't mind huntleigh or golden getting a bit scarred up but i want them alive. golden will probably fly into rage mode at whoever attacks her first so. take that as you will. please kill blue.)
Harvestcharm's pupils were only specks as he watched in terror as he realized Buzzingswarm was going toe to toe with Wintrystar. "Fairytale," He immediately called out, only realizing that his brother wasn't at his side any longer. Instead he saw the crimson tom stalking near an apprentice. He had half a mind to drag him over, but hearing Wintrystar's declaration he didn't bother, instead racing over to his brothers mate to do what he could to protect him.
Harvestcharm winced seeing Wintrystar's claws extended towards Buzzingswarm. Don't be too late, just five seconds god, that's all, just five give me five more seconds. His pale green gaze could only twitch in horror as he watched Wintrystar's claws slide in slow motion towards Buzzingswarm. Without having anymore time to look, only act Harvestcharm slammed into Wintrystar before whipping his claws into her flank. It didn't even have to hurt, it just had to be in time to save Buzzingswarm.
Fairytalehunt stalked closer to Bluepaw, but paused, almost as if realizing his crimson fur was never going to blend in the grey and off white settings of WinterClan. Standing up fully Bluepaw could see the shadow move over him before a powerful push forcefully lowered the apprentice to the ground with an almost gentle slowness. Fairytalehunt's tail twitched side to side like a satisfied hunter taking delight in his catch, waiting for his prey to squirm helplessly beneath his paws. "Tell me little apprentice, why do you think you deserve to live? Be honest now, after all you don't seem all that useful to your clan standing around on a battlefield, it's pitiful." He said, his voice lower.
"Yeah, sorry princess, I need to borrow this," Howlingnight said, extending a paw out to Pomegranatepaw's forehead to stop her from charging back at Icepaw. Lifting Icepaw up in his jaw he turned fast throwing the apprentice right into Commander Shule. After all nothing got someone's attention like having an entire body knocked into you. "Commander, you look bored, I would be remiss if as your host I didn't show you a good time." He said with a lazy smile before turning back to his daughter, "You can go back to playing, thanks pumpkin paws," He said giving Pomegranatepaw a quick lick across her forehead.
As he did he noticed Wintrystar off to the side, she didn't just have one tom attacking her anymore, now there was a second. He clicked his tongue, a signal for Soullessabomination's attention, "Soulless!" He sang out, "Take out Harv, the darker ginger one, go!" He commanded to her. It wasn't smart to take his eyes off Shule, but he'd trade his safety any day for his mates.
(I'm pinging you to this Pluto in case you wanted Snakefang to meet his father in law, Lex, a Regime cat, ex SunClan cat)
Blazingbluejay had just come back with prey, but just about dropped it when she saw the battle happening in camp. She caught flashes of familiar faces including her own kits, but the most surprising was her fathers. Tearing up Blazingbluejay hesitantly began moving into the battle, but soon enough her paws were picking up as fast as she could hurry before slamming right into her father, embracing him. "Dad I.... I thought I'd never see you again."
"I'm over here," Arcticsong said with a wave to her mate, Wolfconstellation. She was standing only a fox length away from Goldenphantom, someone she recognized from her time in the ForestClan's as being an Immortal Council member. "Goldenphantom, you are an Immortal Council member. That means if I beat you in a fight DayClan is likely to retreat. So I challenge you to a battle with our claws and fangs, but no poisons. Can we fight now?"
Dottymask's gaze seemed to be somewhere else, a voice for the first time calling out to her since becoming knight of the stars. But hearing the sound it didn't just perpetuate it called out to her, lulled her. The more she listened, the more she was certain she knew who the voice belonged to.
"Silverfury, listen closely to me," She said, but hadn't really been looking at him until the last of her words. Her words had come out so certain, yet looking at him she felt absolutely helpless, wanting to turn back on everything, "I'm-" But her breath hitched, a new figure appearing in the entrance, Rottenfang.
"Oh what? So everyone stops talking when the demon comes in, so typical of this family," He said, for once these words felt real, not soaked in humiliation and shame, this new tone he had, the new pain in his heart, it felt good on him. Like his whole life he'd been wearing the wrong fur until now. Rottenfang was about to take a step forward when he heard a battle cry out in camp. Glancing back he could just spot Huntleigh's fight. He breathed in, slowly releasing his hatred, just for this moment, just for Huntleigh. Looking back at his parents with a steely gaze that didn't resemble Blazingbluejay or Snakefang, instead it only reflected the same hateful look that Silverfury always poured into his gaze for him. "I'm going to go help my best friend and when I come back, I'm going to kill both of you."
With that Rottenfang was out the den door as soon as he had come.
Dottymask looked back up at Silverfury hesitantly, but finally nodded to him, "You need to go stop him before he kills this family Silver. This is your best time to do it while Rottenfang's focused on his friend, he won't see your claws coming. So go."
Rodent was at Wolftundra's side, but his short sepia bengal pelt bristled more than the cold as Huntleigh picked up his scrawny body with ease and threw him to the ground. Instantly he tried to get up, but whimpered as Huntleigh slammed his face further into the earth. Standing back up he was just in time to witness Huntleigh lunging right into Wolftundra. Letting out a battle cry just as Wolftundra had done before to him Rodent raced over to Huntleigh, leaping onto the toms back with his claws hooking into his flanks to give Wolftundra time to strike the tom.
"Hey!" Rottenfang called out to Wolftundra, "Take a swing at me, not him, that's my only warning." He said, knowing he was too far from the fight after wandering away to find Dotty and Silver to interfere with Wolftundra and Rodent. But they were about to regret it today, the next morning, and the rest of their life for the beating they were about to get if they took another stab at his friend.
Winterclan: Guidinglight hadn’t been in camp when the attack began, but upon seeing the carnage taking place he didn’t hesitate to leap into the fray. His movements were smooth and graceful, not yowling and growling like the brutes around him. He moved in silently, quickly cutting through opponents, crimson now splattered onto his pristine white pelt. It was almost as if the Tom was dancing across the battlefield, coming from behind the intruders that were now inside of the cave. His goal was to injure as many as possible, to make it easier on his clan-mates that fought alongside him. (Feel free to engage with him ^^ I don’t mind if he gets some injuries) — Normally such a move wouldn’t have caught Dappledglacier off guard, but her time in the nursery had delayed her reaction Time from what she was used to. The swipe caused her to stumble, but she quickly recovered to meet the she-cat’s attack with her own. Sometimes the best defense was to go on the offensive, to force the cat to defend themselves or be I hustled. So though she was open for an attack, the flash of claws and teeth showed tha tthe regime cat wouldn’t be able to get in and get out without injury themselves Jadie —- Cardinalglow growled deep in his throat, jerking backwards as the other tom’s claws ripped into his shoulder. Trickles of blood feel freely from the wound, his tail lashing from one side to the other “To bad it has to be this way” using his back legs he powered himself forward on the offensive this time. His head lowered as if he was going for the tom’s paws, but at the last moment he pushed upwards claws aimed At the other cat’s face (I don’t mind some minor injuries either ashestoashes )
DAYCLAN Buzzingswarm lowered himself to the ground as Wintrystar lunged, protecting his vitals and making himself a smaller target. He waited for the right moment, launching himself upwards to go for her throat as she closed in. His timing would have been perfect, but as Harvestcharm slammed into the WinterClan leader it caused him to hesitate. His eyes widening at the sudden change of direction , he twisted his head upwards to see what was happening leaving his vulnerable throat exposed. He felt claws dig into his skin, as they were ripped through the other side viciously by Wintrystar’s fall and Harvestcharm’s momentum. The pain wasn’t immediate, as Buzzing swarm stood there in shock, blood spurting from the deep neck wound. He took a step forward, as it gave way underneath him as he collapsed to the ground. His paws raising to his slashed throat in panic when blood began to fill his lungs instead of air. paoFaith
"Something isn't adding up!" Icepaw chuckled as he continued to do his best to avoid Pomegranatepaw's attack. He was smaller than her and very quick, but his paws weren't used to the hard stone ground, giving the WinterClan princess just enough of an advantage that they were neck and neck. They probably would have continued ducking and dodging one another (with an occasional smack here and there) had Howlingnight not intervened out of nowhere.
The mostly dark brown seal-point tom flailed midair for a split second before instinct took over and he righted himself, all four of his paws stretching outwards with unsheathed claws... claws that he promptly dug into the raven-furred ally he'd just been flung at. FaithHoneystorm
WINTERCLAN
Wolfconstellation was relieved to hear Arcticsong's sweet voice from only a few paces away from him. The small pale gold tom turned toward her with an uncharacteristic smile on his face only for all color to drain away as he realized just who she was challenging.
"UHHHH...." He hurried over against his better judgment and put himself between Arcticsong and Goldenphantom, "... What she means to say is...." He trailed off in thought, realizing that there wasn't anything he cold say to make this situation better, "... Goldenphatom, listen, we both know how this fight is going to end and..." But then he realized Arcticsong was still right there and very much thought she could win, he couldn't crush her optimism! There was literally no winning for him!
"... So... Uh... Let's change up this format. How about instead of fighting with our claws and fangs we play a less dangerous game like rock, leaf, claw?" strawberrycupidFaith

Something was wrong with Dottymask. Her eyes seemed hazy, her speech almost delayed, some part of her fire had been put out and the silver-furred tom had no idea when, what, how or why. His fur was bristling even before Rottenfang stepped into the nursery and in his fury he pinned all of his mate's strange behavior - as well as this whole war - on the son he'd adopted all of those moons ago. He put his back to Dottymask and the kits in that moment, ready to tear Rottenfang limb from limb, a deadly growl reverberating out of the back of his throat as he readied his first strike, only for the target to disappear back into the chaos outside.
He was silent for awhile, back still to Dottymask. It felt like an eternity before he looked back to her but in reality it had only been a few seconds. When he finally did turn back, the golden flecks that had always been in his eyes were shining brighter than they ever had before and he put gently his forehead against Dottymask's, "I'm going to kill him," He said, his voice hushed, "I'm going to kill all of them..."
Silverfury shifted his head downward, now cheek to cheek with Dottymask. There was more he wanted to say but he had no words. So, he just savored the moment for as long as he dared, then finally pulled away and exited the nursery in search of his first target, Rottenfang.
When he saw him, he charged without taking any consideration for the cats surrounding him, friend or foe he steam-rolled them out of his way and let out a fearsome howl as he aimed his first blow right at Rottenfang's head. A killing blow if it hit. Faith

"Mama," Goslingkit had been quiet during Rottenfang and Silverfury's arrival but, int he hush that followed the toms' exit, she just couldn't hold her tongue any longer. She brushed her head gently against Dottymask's leg, "Mama... What's happening?" Faith
RENEGADE REGIME
Sapphira knew the risks when she went in for the opening Dappleglacier had left, but she decided the cost was worth it and steeled herself for the pain sure to follow as she dug her fangs into the other she-cat's shoulder. She could have gone for the throat but she wasn't trying to kill her foe, just incapacitate her. Unfortunately for her, Sapphira was not accustomed to fighting such thick-furred Warriors and found her expensive attack was a first just a mouthful of fur. Growling she used all her strength to bite harder and finally tasted some rivulets of blood. racer

RENEGADE REGIME
It was a good plan. There was only one problem with it. Huntleigh. Regime training had taught him to keep his eyes on the battlefield. That and missing a tom as massive as Silverfury would be a feat in it of itself. When Wolftundra didn't take the swing at him, it let Huntleigh tear himself away from the other tom to slam his shoulder into Silverfury's side. He wasn't as big as the other tom, but the force alone was enough to make him miss his mark. Adrenaline was taking him over, and he really had no idea if Rodent was still on his back or how bad he was bleeding underneath all that fur. It didn't matter though. What did was keeping Rottenfang alive. But 3 cats was a lot, even for a mercenary like Huntleigh. In his brief moment of reprieve, he called out, "I need backup." as he pulled himself between Rottenfang and Silverfury. FaithJadiepaoHoneystorm
DAYCLAN
Goldenphanton hadn't pulled her gaze away from the fight. If Fia was still here, she would be in the fray right now. Happily fighting. And Golden would have to be the one to pull her away to keep her from getting herself killed. The only indication she even heard Arcticsong was a flick of her ear. And when she turned to look at the tiny she-cat, her brown eyes were still dead. Colder than anyone had ever seen the Immortal Council member. Somewhere, in the back of her mind, she felt like she should recognize this cat. But it was quickly drowned out as her claws instinctively flexed into the snow. Then Wolfconstellation came to defend Arcticsong. With the way he spoke, and danced around his words just for Arcticsong, she figured they were mates and her heart sank a bit further. After a moment, she spoke, her voice dry and hoarse from not using it, "Even if I lost, this attack won't stop. Over the yowls, I heard some Winterclan cat thought this was for honor. What a farce. It's for love. And if you two know what that feels like, for each other or anyone else, I'd suggest slipping out when you have the chance. It's... better than being alone." FaithJadie
WINTERCLAN
Where was he supposed to start? Even Pomegranatepaw was fighting, but everyone else was so much bigger and he was so alone. It wasn't until the shadow towered over him that it dawned on Bluepaw how much trouble he was in. What a fight really was like. And then he was slammed into the ground, paws pinned underneath him. No matter how hard he pushed or squirmed, he couldn't get up. Only giving Fairytalehunt exactly what he wanted. It only made him panic more, squirm more. For all the trouble he made, he had never really gotten in trouble, never experienced a punishment like others had. The thought of it made his heart hammer in his chest, Fairytalehunt's words only adding fuel to the fire. "I...I-" Bluepaw sniffled, already on the verge of tears as he began to shut down. Pathetic until the end. "I don't wanna die!" He begged, trying to pull away that only made the claws go in deeper. Faith
Harvestcharm's eyes stretched in panic, but he didn't hesitate to put his paws over Buzzingswarm's wound, pressing into it firmly in order to keep as much blood as he could in the tom. "Fairytalehunt!" He called out desperately, knowing that the tom had quite a bit of medical knowledge. He could spot the crimson red tom now, towering over an apprentice in the distance, "FAIRYTALE!" Harvestcharm shouted again, "You've scared him, now get over here and help, it's Buzzingswarm!" He called, choking back the sob forming in his throat. He had to keep his voice clear to get his brothers attention.
Fairytalehunt lifted his head, hearing his brother call out to him, then proceeded to look down at Bluepaw, pleading for his life, "Poor darling, I don't have time to beat you into submission, so it's just quicker this way, you understand," He soothed, his claws had a motherly touch as they gently caressed the side of the apprentices face before slicing over his throat. He didn't wait to see the life fade from the apprentices eyes, he was quick to remove himself and leisurely make his way over to Harvestcharm. "What's the shouting for?" He asked before noticing Buzzingswarm, "Oh fox dung, that's bad. Listen, I'll go and try and find something for him, but he's probably not going to make it by the time I find supplies. The best thing to do is just to be there for him in his final moments."
Harvestcharm's eyes teared up, his claws unsheathing and sheathing again as his thoughts tried to kept up to his emotions. First all he could think of was that Buzzingswarm was going to die and it was his fault. But then what Fairytalehunt had said, how he had said it was catching up to him. "THEN BE THERE FOR HIM," Harvestcharm exclaimed, unable to keep the anger down and the tremor of sadness away from his voice any longer, "Why am I freaking out about him more than you are!?"
"Harvestcharm, death is a part of a warriors life, I just accept that," Fairytalehunt said honestly.
"But-" Harvestcharm began, but felt awful for arguing in Buzzingswarm's final moments, "Just be there for your boyfriend at least," He whispered urgently to Fairytalehunt, watching as the tom made his way over to Buzzingswarm. His paw moving over the injured toms. It was kind, but... It felt like the same gesture he would give to any patient. There wasn't anymore love there than there was for anyone else. He seemed to be that way ever since he had been given a temporary medicine cat apprentice position, Harvestcharm could only guess that his brother had wanted to stay traditional. Live a loveless life maybe.
"It'll be alright love, mom will handle this," Dottymask promised Goslingkit, but stepped out from the nest, "I can smell you so just come out," She said, not knowing who it was or what their vendetta against her was, too many reasons to guess. But she did not know she was calling out Pandora, a cat believed to be as much of a demon as Bluejay, if not more.
Arcticsong shuffled her paws with an anxious stare listening to the Immortal Council member. Her gaze was unfocused, fluttering in every direction as she began to sway on her paws, like her physical movements moved in time with her thoughts. "The attack is about love?" She asked with a small hum, her paw rubbed the back of her leg in slow strokes, trying to process such a contradictory statement. Desperate to grasp onto anything understandable that the she-cat was saying she instantly responded when she heard the first thing that she could relate to, "I like being alone! I want to be left alone all the time. Except for snack time. I like it when people come to give me snacks and then they leave. Can I fight you now?" She asked again, seeming confused on why the she-cat wouldn't say yes before it finally clicked on why Goldenphantom wouldn't say yes before, "Please?" She added, knowing that this was the magic word.
Rottenfang swerved at the sound of impact spotting Huntleigh just in time to watch his friend send Silverfury sliding across the battlefield. His heart raced, he didn't have the battle skills that he should have at this age, he hadn't been allowed to train until recently in the Regime. Even then he really only had an apprentices knowledge of battle skills, he would only be able to help his friend so much. But with that in mind he knew he might just be endangering his friend more by being inexperienced and in harms way.
Rodent still clung onto Huntleigh, he was light, but extremely durable due to WinterClan's harsh treatment of him. Unfortunately for him he would have to use that talent well as Rottenfang grabbed onto Rodent's scruff and tore him off from his friends back and onto the ground. Rottenfang nervously looked up at Wolftundra, Rodent, and Silverfury, they really did need backup or they were both about to have a horrible beating.
