Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Camelphoenix lazed lazily on the wooden beam thingies by the water as he waited for his apprentice, who he was 80% sure was called Pikepaw but he'd honestly kind of forgotten. He wasn't sure what they were going to tackle today yet. Maybe they would try some daisy-chaining, or some throat-singing? Either way, he was sure about one thing--there was no better way to start off a training session than some light meditating. In the lake.
Pikepaw hurried hurriedly to where he assumed his mentor's riddle was leading him (because his first seven guesses were wrong). Finally, finally, he spotted him out on the open water and breathed a sigh of relief, but quickly he adjusted his form to appearing more chipper despite how frazzled he looked. "Hi, Camelphoenix!" The wood creaked underpaw and Pikepaw felt a chill scurry up his spine at the thought of plunging into the still-cold lake.
"WH--" SPLASH. Pikepaw's head broke the surface for mere seconds before his flailing paws could not keep him aloft. He disappeared back beneath the water, which looked pretty tranquil where it wasn't disturbed by his life-air bubbling up.
"ISN'T THAT CALMING?" Camelphoenix screamed, and cannonballed into the lake beside Pikepaw's flailing, possibly drowning body. "THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO MEDITATE! YOUR GILLS WILL MANIFEST SOON!"
A flood of rushing water drowned out Camelphoenix's scream. Pikepaw's flailing, definitely drowning body was ragdolled by the current, the apprentice managing to swim upward and catch his breath right before his mentor cannonballed into him. The pair both disappeared.
Back under the water, he proed his eyes open just in time to see an alligator zooming towards them. Pikepaw shrieked, his leftover air bubbling out of him.
"CRIKEY, A GATOR!" Camelphoenix screamed, though he was underwater so it mostly just came out as indistinct sounds and bubbles. "I'M ALLERGIC!" With that he swam away, never to be seen again.
