Glowstar knocked on Dirtydivinity's den with a bit of unease. A million thoughts rolled through her head, she had never seen her granddaughter before, would she look anything like Bluejay? What if she was too much like Bluejay what would she do then? And if she really was a demon there would like her mother there would be a lot to work through. From what she had heard Dirtydivinity had clearly been abused, but more than that she believed that her abuser was good and worthy of returning to. That was the only reason she allowed DayClan to enforce that she remain in DayClan's borders. She was allowed to explore DayClan's land as much as she liked so long as she had two warriors watching out for her at all times. Still that did not excuse her clans behavior at the gathering, in her opinion that had been far too brutal with dragging Dirtydivinity back. There would be a lot of trust she would have to earn.
"Good morning darling," Glowstar said, her words were warm like soft beams of sunlight, but she made no motion to enter the den unless invited in.

Despite the freedom she had been given, Dirtydivinty hadn't taken advantage of it. She was far to frightened of the cats that surrounded her to even venture out past then den she had been placed into. She had been here for several days now, and was starting to settle into a routine. Smolderingcoment would appear to her early in the morning brining prey, he would fuss over her dirt covered pelt and insist that he wouldn't leave her alone until it was clean. He would spend a lot of time cleaning it, before having to leave to go attend to his duties. The moment he left, she would roll in the dirt again, feeling vulnerable and uneasy without her protective covering. Only for him to return before dark and repeat the process before the moon would rise.
Most of the clan seemed happy to give her a wider berth, leaving her to sit alone in the darkness save for Smolderingcomet's visits. The routine and stability brought her some comfort, though truly it was not much of a life. She always protested Smolderingcomet's visits, but as time passed she found herself looking forward to them. It reminded her of Dottymask, and how she would clean her pelt before bed when she was in the nursery each night after her siblings had gone to sleep.
Dirtydivinity had been sleeping, her head snapping upwards as the soft voice reached her ears. She was automatically on alert, her long fur trying to bristle out from underneath the dirt "Who are you?" she asked coldly. She probably should have recognized the DayClan, but she had been to overwhelmed when first coming to DayClan. It was a sea of unfamiliar faces, each of them more dangerous than the last in her eyes. She had begged and begged to go and see her mother, for some news that she was ok... but no one here seemed to know
"I'm your grandmother, a friend," Glowstar promised, her blue gaze flicked around the familiar dark colored walls, "I know a bit about your mother Dotty, I had a mum like yours too. How about we talk where there's a little more sunlight? I've never been a fan of feeling closed in," She gestured with her head for Dirtydivinity to follow her.

Dirtydivinty didn't trust the cat she was speaking to, not in the slightest. Even if what she said was true, that didn't mean a lot to her. As far as she was concerned her only family was Dottymask, Silverfury, and her siblings. She was a WinterClan cat, and they rest of their family had abandoned her and her siblings to their fate because they were demons. The only one who ever truly lover her was her mom, the only one whom had cared for her.
However if this cat knew something about Dottymask then she needed to know... "Have you heard anything....?" she took one reluctant step out of her den, before ducking back inside as if it were some sort of trap. She didn't want to leave, not when Smolderigcomet was due back soon "I..I can't go" she trembled, falling back inside "I have someone coming soon... They will be worried"
"Then when you're ready you can come find me at the wisteria throne, a large purple tree that I sit beneath. There I will tell you all that you wish to know," Glowstar said before dipping her head to her, "I will await your arrival."
With that Glowstar turned around seeing herself out. True to her word she sat underneath the wisteria throne waiting for Dirtydivinity to brave the outside world to seek the knowledge she desired.

Dirtydivinity paced back and forth after the she-cat left her alone in the darkness. She wanted to know about her mother but trying to leave then den seemed impossible. She would step one paw out, before darting back inside glancing around like someone was going to punish her for leaving. It was only after many attempts that she was able to trail out into the tunnel for more than a pace, and even then she sound herself racing back when another cat walked out of their own den. Her legs trembled, have spent hours now, and only having ventured a few paces out of the safety of her small space. Her breathes came in rapid succession, her heart pounding hard in her chest from the anxiety.
She closed her eyes trying to calm herself, as thoughts of Dottymask filled her mind. How she used to clean her pelt every night, the gentle strokes of her paw on her cheek, and the soft whispers of encouragement. Dirtydivinity eyes slowly opened, more determined than ever to make it to the throne to find out what had happened to her. Slinking along the stone wall she slowly approached were the throne, keeping her head and tail down trying to ignore the stares of the other cats that burned into her dirt coated pelt, as she pushed through the entrance
Behind the veil of wisteria was the wisteria throne made up of bark with moss covered seating at the base of the tree. The throne was large, enough for a few cats to lie snug together, but in this instant it was only Glowstar, batting at a stray low hanging wisteria branch. "I knew you had adventure in your heart," She purred as Dirtydivinity approached her, but she kept her eyes on the branch. Dirtydivinity was shy, she likely wouldn't enjoy her stare so she kept her sights trained on the high tops of the purple leaves.
"Here's what I have for you, Dottymask, your mother was injured during the gathering, but Silverfury helped her back to her clan. Last I've heard she's recovering well, is even believed to be pregnant with another litter," Glowstar said, feeding her the information without any hesitation, "But Divinity, I would stay here, your mother sent your sister Heavenlypaw here because she felt she would be safe. I'm certain she would want the same for you. However, should you feel the will to run as fast as your paws can carry you back to WinterClan, then know you have the freedom to. All I ask is that you ask someone to accompany you on your journey so that you make it there safely. That is what your mother would want, you to be safe."

"Mom wouldn't do that" Dirtydivinity interrupted when she said that Dottymask had sent her sister here, before immediately regretting it
She shrunk back, ears falling against her head as if just awaiting a blow for insubordination. In WinterClan they were not allowed to speak in such a manner and the punishment for which could vary from a harsh slap against the cheek to something far worse if the higher ups were in a bad mood. Yet Glowstar didn't even look her way, keeping her eyes on the branch. It should have been comforting but it only scared her worse, her fur sticking out on end and her eyes downcast.
In fact, the leader even said that she could go. The only cat who hadn't tried to convince her that her mother was some sort of evil monster "Momma said the other clans would hurt us..." at least when they understood that demon blood flowed through their veins "She wouldn't have sent her any where else. Heavenlypaw ran away, momma said so herself"
"And that's how I know she wasn't as bad as everyone thinks, not to you at leas. Divinity, she lied to keep you safe," Glowstar promised her with a thoughtful expression, "As for your siblings being hated, no other clan even knows what a demon is. Besides, I have your demon blood if that's true, I'm your blood mothers mom."

"Dottymask is my mother, not her" she replied firm in her conviction, but what the leader said next did make some sense... She wasn't above lying to protect them, and at least she didn't seem to think that Dottymask was someone terrible like everyone else that had been trying to get her to talk with them "but Bluejay was created by the Sun God, and the Sun God is evil. Which makes us demons. You can't be her mom" this was all rather confusing, for a she-cat who had been both sheltered and held captive. She had no concept of the world outside of WinterClan, nor that anything she had been told could be anything but the truth "The may not know what a demon is now, but when they find out they will hurt me. Do you know what they do to demon cats there?" there was tears in her eyes as she spoke, lifting her paws to her ears and the crystals that had been fused there "Mommy tried to get the demon out of me so that I could be a normal kit, she just wanted me to be happy"
"What do you think a demon is Divinity? Is it when you are born to a bad person? Is it being a magical hated being? The truth is, I do think you're a demon and I knew your blood mother was too. I locked her away to keep DayClan safe. But I failed to remember the life long code of life that goes beyond any god or heaven. The circle of life leaves no room for accidents, every being is created for a reason. There is no being that strikes down the foxes for eating us and it is because it's in their nature to keep the predator count low so the prey can flourish to feed everyone. In the Forest Clan's that belief is focused in balance. That there cannot be day without night or sun without the moon. It's important to respect the balance that makes our world function. I believe demons like yourself should be respected for whatever balance or purpose they may serve. But it is up to you to discover what being a demon means, what purpose they bring. Not allow your clan to interpret who you are for you," Glowstar said before flicking her tail, "That's all I have to say, but you can approach me anytime, darling Divinity."
