Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Post the Let's Have a Day to Ourselves! thread. Family thread, basically focused on learning about Blueflame's injury, the pregnancy and the fun times of keeping her in camp on bedrest. Well do the kits when we feel like this thread is wrapped up and we wanna make them.
Possibility of reusing the names, bios, and pics of the last litter of kits that weren't claimed (aka everyone but Snakeattack and Bramblebite). Or change names, leave bios? Change all but pics? Anyone want one of these kits to start out with? FlurryofstarspLuto
Blueflame had been rushed back to camp along with the kit that'd snuck out after being hit by the monster on the thunderpath. Her wounds ached, but had just been tended too, leaving her with some surprising news that left her in a stunned daze. It seemed unreal what she'd just been told, even with the throbbing pain of her new relocated hip, she couldn't believe what she was being told.

Bramblepaw was pacing anxiously outside Chestnutheart's den, wondering how her mother was doing. Hopefully, there wasn't anything seriously wrong with her, but she'd been ordered to wait outside until after Blueflame was treated. After what felt like an eternity, that time had finally passed and the brown tabby raced to her side. "So!? How are you feeling?" she exclaimed and after a second, she touched her nose to hers in a compassionate greeting.
Just returning from a hunting patrol, Poisonrush was informed of the news that Blueflame had been injured and rushed towards the Medicine Cat's den. They told him she was fine and in stable condition but he had to see for himself to what extent the damage was. Bursting into the den, he was greeted with the sight his mate and daughter. On the surface, she looked fine, but he could imagine she was in some sort of pain.
"How's she doing?" he asked Bramblepaw as he moved closer to the two of them.
"I'm fine. No need to worry you two." She was still in shock but the sight of her worrying daughter and even more worried mate was enough to get her to smile and attempt to reassure them. Though, she was sure her daughter would call her on her lie. Blueflame's hips ached, and then there was the other news. One both heartbreaking and enough to make her weep in joy. She couldn't believe what'd she'd been told only moments after having her right hip relocated into its socket.
"If you say," he said, not believing her words. "What happened out there?" They've been together long enough for Poisonrush to know when something was wrong with Blueflame and there was clearly something else going on. He just had to figure out what it was.
"It wasn't a big deal. Reallym it all turned out fine." She didn't want him to worry and tried to push it under the rug. Maybe now would be a good time to spill her other issue? Blueflames gnawed her lip in thought, trying to decide how to come out with it.
(does Bramblepaw wanna spoil her fun and tell dad what happened lol Flurryofstars)

(Of course!)
"Wasn't a big deal!?" she exclaimed as she gave Blueflame an incredulous look. "What do you mean!?" But she suspected that she wasn't going to be the one to convince her of how reckless she'd been on the patrol, so Bramblepaw turned to her dad. "There was a kit on the thunderpath and mom ran out like a mouse-brain and got hit by a monster!" Even if she did it to save the kit, they could have both died out there and what would that have done for anyone? Surely, Poisonrush would agree.
Poisonrush's eyes widened in disbelief before a relaxed a bit. Of course she would so something like that. "Yeah, that was pretty mouse-brained, but she's here in one piece and that's what matters," he responded before turning his gaze onto Blueflame and said sternly, "As long as she learned her lesson and won't do something like that again." He sighed. "Is the kit okay at least?"
FlurryofstarspLuto Gotta love that her mate knows her recklessness so well and that her kits is ready to tattle on her lol
Blueflames was surprised that her mate wasn't furious with her reckless actions or the fact that she was in danger at all. Somedays she thought he was over protective, but then, like today, he surprised her. With a sheepish smile, one more befitting of a scolded apprentice than a full grown warrior, she spoke, "yeah, he's alright. Little shaken up, but that's to be expected. No idea why he thought it was a great idea to follow us out on our walk, but I think the kit learned his lesson at least." Now would she do it again? Yes, in a heartbeat, but she wasn't about to tell him that. In her childish manner, she stuck her tongue out at her daughter, a grin developing on her face to show her good humor about it all.

“At least one of you did,” Bramblepaw muttered. Poisonrush hadn’t been nearly upset enough for her tastes and it wouldn’t surprise her if Blueflame tried to be a hero on the thunderpath the moment they left her alone again. She rolled her eyes as her mom stuck her tongue out, but the apprentice couldn’t stop the corners of her mouth from curving up. Clearly, she wasn’t angry anymore but she wasn’t ready to forgive and forget what happened just yet either.
Poisonrush was relieved nothing worse happened and he couldn't help but smile to himself. Thank goodness. But, for some reason, he had a gut feeling that were something else he should know about. "Blueflame, was your thunderpath escapade the only thing that happened to today?" he asked her, looking at her face to see what sort of reaction she would have to his question.
Blueflame's grin from before only widened, oh the news she had for them! "What'ca mean? It's the only thing I did today, if that's what you're asking." She was itching to tell them, but also was taking great pleasure in drawing it out. It was mischievous and definitely telling of her apprentice years, but she was having fun holding this good news over their heads while they were coming down from the horror of hearing what'd happened at the thunderpath. And if it was her own personal torture, holding the news that would surely be good to all of them, then who was she to miss out on the fun. The she-cat could already imagine the grin on Poisonrush's face and the look of disbelief on Bramblepaw's but it would be fun to see it play out, and to drag it out a moment more. It was good that the medicine cat had left after tending to her to go collect more herbs, so she has plenty of time to have her fun.
"You know I hate when you do that, Blueflame. Come on, out with it," Poisonrush demanded with a smile, although it was a nervous one. She was smiling so it couldn't possibly be bad news, right? He shook his head. "You have something to announce, don't you?" Turnijg to his daughter to get more answers, he said "Bramblepaw, do you know what your mother is grinning about?"

“Honestly, I have no idea,” Bramblepaw groaned, and while she seemed put-off by her mother’s playfulness, she was secretly bubbling with excitement. What was she hiding? She had to know. After sending Poisonrush an apologetic look, she turned back to Blueflame. “Mom, can you just tell us? Today’s had us on edge enough already.”
"Yeah, just tell us. The suspense is making me nervous and that's something I don't handle well." Poisonrush added. What could it possibly be that's got her so smiley. He had to know what could possibly change the attitude of someone who could have died from being crushed by a monster to grinning like a kit with a new toy.
Blueflame's grin softened a little, at the reminder of what all had happened today. "Well, I guess I can end my fun. We'll need time to set up a new nest anyways." She paused with that, assessing their faces to see if they made the connection as to why they would need a new nest. "Bramblepaw, do you think the kit from today would mind if I roomed next to him? I'm sure you're siblings would love him as a playmate." She drew out the word siblings, her eyes locked on her mates, her splitting grin still there, as she waited for them to process her words.
A new nest? Siblings? Playmate? Bramblepaw doesn't have any other siblings though?
The tom's eyes widened in realization as he got closer to Blueflame. "Wait, you're having kits?" A wave of conflicting emotion fell over him; he was both excited and nervous at the same time. "When did you find this out?"

Bramblepaw realized what was going on right after Poisonrush did, and her jaw dropped to the floor. "Oh my gosh! What? You are!?" She was surprisingly ecstatic at the prospect, something she wasn't sure she would feel since she'd been an only child for so long. She just hoped Blueflame didn't find out she was pregnant until after she jumped into the middle of a thunderpath. "Congratulations!"
Blueflame's grin could only widen as she watched them figure it out. It was like when an apprentice figured out how to catch a mouse and was successful! "Just now. I didn't wait too long to tell you like last time, even if I could have watched you two squirm a little more. You didn't even try to guess!" Oh, how she wanted to pull them both close and just snuggle them to death. The she-cat couldn't do that yet due to the splint she'd been given and the herbs she'd been instructed to take. Luckily they weren't anything that could hurt the growing kits. "Gotta stay in the nursery form here on out though, medicine cat's orders." It could go unsaid that the orders were because of teh incident earlier but she wasn't going to remind them.
