Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
This rp is in replacement of the prophecies. Since it was voted to abandon StarClan, StarClan has decided to observe certain cats to see if they have potential, which is why each of you are pinged with a specific “chosen” character of yours! You don’t have to participate, but if you do you will get a lot of character development out of it, especially for the next plot!
Glowstar had assigned Fia Cendrillion as patrol leader for this mission. Scavengers had reported that there was a litter of kits trapped inside of a home looking wounded, mewling from the inside. The goal was to investigate the claim and take them out of the living situation if it was in fact abusive. Considering Fia Cendrillion was the mother of DayClan now with all of the kits she had adopted, there was no one better for the job.
Tigerlily stuck to the back of the patrol, her tail ticked back and forth with every rhythmic harsh beat of her paws. She had been an Immortal Council member, but the title had fooled her into thinking that a position equaled power. The role was a pity position, she was passed up for everything she wished to commit to. Even with her step mother, no longer NightClan leader everyone still treated her as some kind of traitor, waiting to happen. Maybe if they kept guessing that way they would eventually be right and maybe it was one of those days today.
“Excited, Fia?” Tigerlily asked casually, the storm inside of crackling, but none of it surfaced.
Abusive or not... Fia pretty much had already laid claim on the kits. Glowstar had to know that simply by putting her in charge of this patrol. Goldenphantom could yell at the leader for this one, it absolutely wasn't her fault. Her walk was halfway between a skip and a charge, in between excitement and utter rage at the poor abused children she would undoubtedly find. "I don't think anyone's excited to have to see abused kits. But Goldenphantom and I's nest WAS getting a little lonely. We could always use more kittens."

"Well we can only hope that they aren't abused." Frozenjewled commented with a twitch of her whiskers. The grey tabby had followed after Fia and Tigerlily silently, for the most part, only listening to what the situation was and what they would do should they find the kittens were in a precarious situation.
Her ice crystal eyes batted like butterfly wings, turning to look away from Fia Cendrillion she responded, "Well said council member," her raspy tone held on a delicate line between danger and rapture. That was the difference between her side of the family and Fia, there was a spring to everyone's step when they were related to Glowstar. But descendants of Glowstar's brother walked with composure, an air of confidence. Matching Fia's stride, hearing her obnoxious ideals, she could understand why most of her family preferred to stay underground, away from them.
Entering two-leg place her tail curled around her leg, losing some confidence. Bengals were sought after pets, so on that paw she could easily be plucked by a two-leg, StarClan knows no one would help her. On the other paw she looked like she belonged here and in that way she stood the better chance of blending in than the others in the patrol. Supposedly the den housing the kits was close by to the entry way, which meant they had to be only a few fox lengths away. Glowstar had mentioned that the kits might be caged outdoors, which was why when they began to hear the smallest sound of mewling from one of the fenced in backyards it was easy to know that they were on the right house.
Inside the wood picketed backyard there were two massive dogs wandering the backyard. Off to the side one of the kits had been torn apart and thrown limp to the side by one of them. By the looks of the kits ragged wet state it had been lying there for a while, but currently it didn't appear to be alive. Luckily within the cages there were still three kits that were very much alive, hungry and without a mother.

Frozenjewel suppressed a gasp, tears welling in her eyes and the horrific sight. She lifted a paw to her nose, hoping to block out the smell as her mind tried to process what she was seeing. “This.... this is absolutely disgusting...” She whispered with a shake of her head. Frozenjewel glanced over at Fia and Tigerlily as she swallowed thickly. “What do we do? How do we save them?”

Dizzyclimb looked horrified. She had never seen a dog before, much less a kit that had been ripped apart until it was almost unrecognizable. A shiver made it's way down her spine, her claws digging into the ground below her feet. Dizzyclimb wasn't all that great at fighting... or running... or really a lot of the things that warriors were supposed to do for that matter. But her heart broke looking at the helpless kits "We have to get them out of there..." she said with determination looking to the other cat to come up with a plan. Fia was an experienced cat, surely she would know what to do in this situation.
Tigerlily's ears moved back, watching as each of them turned their worried little heads over to Fia. She had everything, her grandmother was Glowstar, she had been deputy to Goldenstar when Goldenphantom had been in charge. Everyone knew that if something happened to Glowstar she wouldn't be far behind from leadership. Hell it didn't even matter that she literally kidnapped kits, everyone's response was to think of her as a saint for taking them in!
If there was ever a moment she could take charge it was best not to hesitate, her mind was already whirling. Dizzyclimb was known for having bad balance so as much as she wanted to help she would put herself and the entire team in danger if she made a mistake, but she could still be helpful.
"Dizzyclimb, stay on the outside of the fence and make noise, get the dogs riled up on the opposite side so we can go down and get the kits of here," Tigerlily instructed before carefully making her way along the fence until she stood close enough to the cages to pounce on them, but waited. If the dogs saw them jump inside they would be more interested in them. They would have to wait for Dizzyclimb's distraction.
"Frozenjewel, you very narrow paws, I feel you can get the lock if you work at it, afterwards we'll each take as many kits as we can," Tigerlily explained, still not coming up with a plan for the possibly dead or barely alive kit in the backdrop of the yard.
"You can't ignore the injured one, Tigerlily!" Fia Cendrillon immediately countered the she-cat's plan with a quiet hiss, narrowing her eyes at her cousin. "We're here to save the kits, all of them."
Her tail twitched, going over Tigerlily's plan. It was more or less a good idea, but it didn't help the final kit. "While Dizzyclimb makes a distraction for the dog, I'll go for the last kit, and be the backup in case the dogs lose interest in her. Tigerlily, watch out for twolegs while Frozenjewel works at the lock, keeping the dogs at bay does no good if their owners come out, you have to make sure you and Frozenjewel can safely get out with as many kits as possible if something goes wrong."

Frozenjewel nodded at the plan, flicking her tail as she pinned her ears back. “I’ll get the lock, don’t you worry. Dizzyclimb, be careful or else we’ll both end up as dog food and I’d like to live another day.” She said. “We’ll get the kits, all of them Fia. We won’t leave them behind, okay? I’ll see you all on the other side.”
The tabby she-cat took a deep breath before she quietly broke away from the group, waiting in the shadow of one of the fences as she eyed the dogs. She just had to wait for Dizzyclimb...
Tigerlily didn't look particularly phased as her cousin hissed at her for ignoring the kit on the ground. However that changed as Fia seemed to only advance on her. Tigerlily's ears flattened as she lowered her head to the Immortal Council member, "I'm sorry Fia, we won't ignore the kit," She promised, feeling her pelt grow hot at being yelled at in front of everyone. Especially when she made it sound like she wanted to abandon the kit. She just hadn't wanted to risk their lives on a kit who may or may not be dead.
Feeling a bit dejected Tigerlily quickly followed after Frozenjewel, making sure to stay in view of the two-leg den to spot them out should they come. Once she noticed the dogs attention move over to Dizzyclimb she gently brushed her tail to Frozenjewel to cue her to start grabbing the kits. Lucky for them there were exactly two.
"Pass one up to me and then get over the fence with the second one, we'll get them both out and then Fia will work on the third," Tigerlily said quietly to Frozenjewel.
Unfortunately for the third kit one of the dogs was still not particularly interested in Dizzyclimb, distracted even. It seemed to still be very guarded about leaving its "favorite new toy," which was the limp body of the kit. Fia was still too far away to tell, but the kit still had some life in it, although its belly just barely heaved up and down. However in the critical condition it was in there was no way it would be fit to be grabbed without at least a second cat helping.
Fia didn't exactly have her own safety in mind. Perks or drawbacks of being Sen's child, she tended to value results over her own well being. Especially when it came to kits. She dropped in silently, trying her best to creep in close, though she realized pretty quickly that the dog would absolutely need to be distracted if they were to get the. Damn it. She retreated slightly back, circling towards Tigerlily and Frozenjewel. "Tigerlily, that third kit is going to need two people to get it. Once you get these two out, help me with the last one."

Dizzyclimb had already begun making her way to the other side of the fence to serve as a distraction. She waited a few moments for the others to get into position before beginning. She began scratching at the fence as the dog's ears perked up. The she began pitiful crying, as the flurry of paws could be heard racing towards her from the other side of the fence. She was making a lot of noise, thrashing about and screaming like she was in a lot of pain

Frozenjewel flicked her tail as she fiddled with the lock, smiling when it finally clicked open and she was able to open the cage. The tabby carefully snuck inside, pulling the first kit out and carefully placing it by Tigerlily's paws. "Here, take this one." She whispered.
Frozenjewel quickly looked up, making sure the dogs were still distracted as she carefully snuck in to grab the second kit. She looked up quickly as Fia appeared next to them. But the she-cat focused back on the second kit. She quickly picked it up by the scruff, being as careful as she could with the injured kitten.
Tigerlily gently bit down onto the kits scruff before hurrying over the fence with Frozenjewel. She had already made note of what Fia Cendrillion had said about the third kit, she would need help. Her mind had a way of operating like a spiderweb, some orders simply fell through the open patches of webbing, never catching anything, only obeying. This time though Fia Cendrillion's words sank in, she needed her help. If there was one thing anyone should be able to control in this world it was themselves.
The dogs, while distracted originally by Dizzyclimb hadn't forgotten about their favorite new "toy" in the backdrop. So when Fia Cendrillion picked up the injured kit two of the dogs immediately raced back towards Fia and the kit.
Tigerlily's ears perked up at the sound of running paws racing towards Fia. Immediately scaling back up the fence Tigerlily managed to grip onto the kits scruff just in time as Fia passed it towards her so that she and the kit could make it up the fence without getting bit by the dog. Because she was good cousin, because she worked hard to be a good warrior. Because if there was one thing anyone could control it was themselves... But Fia wasn't a good cousin. She didn't allow her to raise a member of her own kin. She wasn't a good warrior, she let Snowthorn get brutalized and rewarded the cat rather than punish her. Yet she had everything she wanted. Yet Tigerlily, for as supportive as she tried to be of her family she was assumed to be the worst. For as much as she helped this clan they always saw her as the serial killers daughter, as Flamingstar's spy. She could control herself, but she couldn't control how others saw her. But in this moment...
Tigerlily sprang off the fence with the kit, but Fia Cendrillion wasn't behind her, instead Dizzyclimb and Frozenjewel could hear the hounds snapping their fangs into her flesh, tearing the Immortal Council member apart
Fia fell. That was what she would tell everyone.
Tigerlily's eyes were wide with a kind of horror she couldn't fake. She murdered her cousin for freedom, for power, for justice. Her eyes teared up, because she made her, she made a clan that would force her hand in this situation. And so long as no one on this patrol had been watching...
"She fell," Tigerlily whispered to Frozenjewel shakily.
(Novaracer if you would like your character to have witnessed Tigerlily actually murder Fia you totally can! We could do it where Tigerlily knows that they know and drives them out of the clan temporarily or they stay silent in front of Tigerlily, but try and tell the truth, etc.)

Dizzyclimb desperately tried to get the dogs attention back onto her. Screaming and slamming into the fence, but she was less entertaining than the cats now on their side of the fence. She lowered herself down to the ground trying to kick some rocks underneath it, just as Tigerlily let the dogs take Fia. She screamed in horror as the dogs ripped her apart in mere moments. There was no saving her...
Dizzyclimb was shaking, having never seen a cat die before, much less something this brutal. She couldn't watch, falling to the ground sobbing as Tigerlily appeared over the fence with the last kit. It took her a moment for her to register the she-cat's words "Liar" she retorted, eyes still stinging from tears "Fia didn't fall, you LET them kill her"
(Nova Alright you probably lost the thread, I'm gonna reply and then Frozenjewel can just live with the fact that she just witnessed this xD)
"QUIET, you low bred EERIE BLOOD," Tigerlily hissed at Dizzyclimb, stalking up close to the she-cats face, "I AM SICK, of everyone looking at me and my family as the disturbed fragile psychos. You all thought it, you all got it, I let her die because she wouldn't let me succeed, she couldn't see past who I could be so I'm who she decided I'd be, but this is the LAST time I'm living up to my families name. With her gone I'll play by the rules, I'll be good, I'll be a great leader, one who's kind, but firm. All the things Fia never gave me the chance to be. And if another Eerie gets in my way I'll strike them down Dizzy. You're starting to look like the first. I mean," She let out an amused bout of laughter, "If Fia could succumb to the dogs who would even argue that your death was foul play?" She said stalking towards her till she grabbed Dizzy by the chest before she had the chance to move and began to drag her over to the fence with the dogs. No longer even trying to keep her intentions a secret away from Frozenjewel, but what could she do? Run away? Get help? Leave the kits with her in the process? No, Frozenjewel was pinned.

The black and white she-cat wasn't a confrontational cat, her strength falter as Tigerlily practically screamed in her face. She feel to the ground with ears back, as if trying to sink into the ground to avoid detection. Terrified of the murderous look that the she-cat before her was giving her even before the claws dug into her chest. She shrieked and struggled against the much stronger cat "PLEASE NO" she wiggled back and forth but couldn't escaped her grip feeling the air rush around her as the dogs leaped trying to grab hold of her "STOP PPLEASE, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU" she screamed
