Lastingkit gently shook his brother's shoulder "pssstttttt, wake up" he whispered softly trying to make sure that their other siblings didn't over hear them "come on sleepy head, I have something to show you" he wiggled his rump playfully, lookin over the other sleeping kits that had mostly cried their selves to sleep the night before waiting on news of their mother. Lionpride was in their nest now snoring away peacefully Jadie
"We're almost apprentices, Lastingkit, so this had better be the last time you wake me up for some weird scheme," Honestkit yawned, getting to his paws with no further complaints. He shook his fluffy black fur slightly and yawned a second time as he exited the den following his brother's lead, "So where are we going?"

"I can't promise you that" Lastingkit chuckled leading the way out to the path that lead down towards the water "Dad brought me back a new toy, and I wanted to share it with you, but you can't tell the others. It's my toy and I don't want the other kits taking it away" he poked out his bottom lip pouting a little bit "Last time they took my food and ate it.... I only had a bite"
"A new toy?" Honestkit's eyes shined bright at the thought of it. He still had a lot of kitten left in him, "Where in the world could you have hidden it away from the other kits?"

"Oh it some where that the other kits would never look" he puffed out his chest proudl leading the way down to the water. When they reached the river, he moved one of the river stones and pulled out a brightly colored blue ball that make strange noises as it was moved
