Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Now, Skeletalpaw really did think her fiance was quite... something. He'd pretty much freaked out the moment he saw a spider in his nest, and Furorpaw had pretty much insisted she take it from him. Presumably, he was rather disturbed when she allowed the creature to crawl all over her before taking it out and letting it free in camp.
He fell asleep quicker than she did, and she sat next to him in their nest, her fur brushing his as she thought about him and the spider.
Unfortunately for Furorpaw... his sweet dreams would quickly be dashed, as shadows crept in, and the scuttling of too many legs whispering in his dream self's ears.

Now this was a snowstorm. Furorpaw absolutely loved watching blizzards so it wouldn’t be so much of a shock that he’d dream of the perfect snowstorm. He could hardly see past his nose in this dream. The snow fell in thick clumps, easily covering the ground in a blanket of white. And of course, the brown and white tabby was sitting right outside in the middle of it. No one in his dream would call him back into the den. He could sit out here for as long as he want.
But then something strange happened. Furorpaw tilted his head as he felt something crawling up his back. Snow didn’t do that... Glancing back at his unkempt pelt. Furorpaw nearly jumped ten feet in the air when he saw the hideous long-legged creature slowly crawling up his back. The tom let out a yowl as he shook his pelt out roughly, doing everything to get the creature off his back. But more started appearing. In a matter of seconds, the snowflakes he had been adoring slowly turned into the wretched arachnid one by one

"Why don't you like us, Furorpaw?" It was like a collective, hive mind sort of hiss that seemed to crawl through his brain, as if the creatures had managed to creep deep into his skull, the skittering of their little legs swamping the landscape as it turned from white to a black-brown mass that moved like waves.
Out of the mass, one figure seemed to emerge, ten times the size of any cat as it stood up, eight thick legs moving slowly as miniature versions of the arachnids fell off as if they were mere droplets in the rain. "If you won't be our friend, you'll make a mighty fine meal." The largest of them spoke, it words seeming to bounce around his brain as he saw his own gaze reflected back in eight eyes to match as many legs, the writhing mass of smaller spiders seeming gleeful at the prospect of consuming his still living flesh.

“NO WAY! NOPE, NO THANKS!” Furorpaw screeched as the biggest spider he had ever seen started moving towards him. Not only that but it spoke! And spoke about eating him! The apprentice quickly turned tail and ran as fast as he could to try and run away from the large spider, but he didn’t seem to be moving! It felt as though he were just running in place!
