Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( Return of Kaisra, ie, Arcaneoutrage. Let's see how badly this goes. xD JetclawFaith )
Kaisra really didn't give anyone a choice about whether they let her into DayClan camp or not. Most probably didn't remember her as having been in DayClan before, but they would recognize her as the Regime cat, Shule's daughter and Sentinel, at least, if they paid any attention at all.
She practically marched up to her mother when she entered the camp, ignoring the few DayClan cats who'd 'escorted' her to camp, well, more like they followed her, but nonetheless. The mostly black feline's tail twitched, and she didn't look particularly happy, though the words that came out of her mouth as she addressed Glowstar were simple, and probably a tad surprising. Or maybe not, the Sentinel didn't exactly look... healthy. The Regime hadn't been faring well as of late, and Kaisra was exceptionally thin, her usually shimmery long fur dull and flat. "I'm joining DayClan." She didn't really expect much from her mother in the way of a reaction, and honestly, she looked like whatever answer Glowstar gave, would only annoy her. Which was probably why after that, she spun around, not actually explaining the WHY of her words, and began looking around for Cinnamonsavage.
"Kaisra?" Glowstar asked as the black and misty white patterned cat approached the wisteria throne.
Kaisra was a long story, she was also her daughter, but often the history between the two dominated their relationship far more than familial connections. For those old enough to remember, Foxstar had poisoned her families prey with a memory altering herb. When they awoke Foxstar had told her and Darkcomplex that the litter was hers when they were in fact Glowstar's brothers, given to her to raise. Despite her suspicions they didn't matter, because from that day forward the kits would be hers and for a time that was true. Until their real mother, Commander Shule came and took almost all of them away. Kaisra wanted her to be happy that she was going to the Regime, but Glowstar couldn't be. Kaisra wanted to leave her on a whim for a cat she didn't even know at the time. She couldn't pretend and when her daughter pushed her she admitted she could never be happy for Kaisra's new life. Her daughter had never come back to DayClan since, not for her, until now.
"Well this is interesting," Glowstar said, watching as Kaisra left to find Cinnamonsavage, her only kit from the litter that had stayed in DayClan.
Cinnamonsavage was enjoying some ill gotten goods from a romp to the chicken nugget place. The tom's tail flicking behind him as he indulged in the meat treats.
He looked up with his mouth full as he noted the shift towards his mother's throne. Blinking, 'Huh, did something happen?' He thought swallowing down his mouthful and heading in the direction of the throne.
He blinked when he saw Kaisra and she was coming right towards him. "Kaisra? What are you doing here?" He asked, surprised to see her.
"Joining DayClan." She answered him, as though it were the most obvious thing in the world that she would do so. "I was still Arcanepaw when I left, right? Gonna need a suffix for that now, right?" None of what Kaisra said actually explained why she was joining DayClan, but did it really matter?
"Or how about you stay Arcanepaw and prove your worth?"
Lilacbane's bright golden coat shared far too close of a resemblance to Windchaser to not immediately recognize her as the immortal council members daughter. Still just being her daughter had not brought her the excellency and pride she thought she had been owed since birth. Despite fiercely protecting the borders, placing pressure on others to do more around the clan, and keeping a weary of any SunClan cats she was a maverick. She had gone behind her mothers back and met up with a MoonClan tom many times, now he was in DayClan, they had a son together. Still Windchaser had been quick to lower her class to force her to follow orders rather than giving them to other cats. But even though she had been punished she remained loyal to her family and DayClan, what had Arcanepaw done to deserve her place back in DayClan?
Lilacbane walked up nose to nose with the Regime cat, "You're as good as an outsider, you had your chance to live in DayClan, but you chose the Regime. I think it's good for every cat to make their own decision like that, but to then come back years later and decide you're a member again? You're not. Maybe your mama will give you a free pass, but I won't. You're as good as a Maverick for leaving our clan, you haven't earned your place, so whatever clever little warrior name you come up with, you'll always be Arcanepaw to me."

"Oh, are we doing things like SunClan now, then? Did DayClan get taken over by them again while I was gone?" Kaisra just laughed at Lilacbane's comment. "If you're so keen on making a fool of yourself you can go right ahead."
Could she have gotten angry? Sure. But that also required her to care what Lilacbane thought of her, and really, she was more concerned with Cinnamonsavage and her own mother, Glowstar right now. Everything else she could let slide if they wanted to look silly.
"It's not silly to demand a little respect and loyalty," Lilacbane defended quickly, her fur bristling, "If an outsider joined that's fine, I've gotten past that, but for someone who was a member to just come back... I've worked for everything I've gotten good or bad, but it's unfair for you to just walk in, never having earned your warrior name, never trained with a DayClan mentor, never receiving a feather or earning a social class. At least an outsiders determined to experience DayClan, but you look more interested in getting back to where things left off, but that's not how things work!"

"Sure, you can demand respect. Don't expect to get it if you won't show me any though. DayClan has accepted tons of cats from other clans, it's kind of your thing at this point. Have a problem with it? Talk to the Immortal Council or my mom. I'll do my thing, and you can either deal with or not, I really don't care about convincing you what to think." She sort of shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, not rising to Lilacbane's defensiveness. If she wanted to be rude, she could go ahead. Honestly, Kaisra could manage. She wasn't trying to start any fights right now, and she was used to cats like her nephew Havilah in the Regime, who would fight you on anything and everything if you let him, it seemed like.
Cinnamonsavage blinked looking gobsmacked as his sister just walked right back into DayClan, and just... wanted to return. As Lilacbane prattled on his ear twitched and he blinked slowly.
"You want to reclaim your old name?" He asked sounding... actually bewildered. He would've expected Kaisra to simply declare her name was Kaisra, clan names be darned. Honeystorm
Arcanewhatever turned her head slightly to Cinnamonsavage with a shrug. "Mom gave me the name, and if I'm joining her clan, seems a shame to waste a perfectly good name. Besides, I do like the name, you know. It is what I grew up with." She replied, blinking slowly.
Lilacbane's ears flattened, "Whatever princess of DayClan," She mumbled more so to herself.
If Cinnamonsavage, the smack talking petty quipped boy of the clan wasn't going to talk back to his sister than she didn't stand much of a shot either. Just her luck to have the one mom in power who didn't let her daughter have any of it. Kaisra could make a hundred mistakes that her mom would love her for, but Windchaser would always punish her for her mistakes.
The orange and white tabby stood off stalking off.
