Crownedstag had gotten paired up with Bleedingheart, but since she had young kits they couldn't go very far. So instead of trying to find a babysitter he invited her and all the kits to come along to the sunstone to have a safe adventure close to camp where the two of them could talk while the kits had some fun safely. Plus it would be a good chance to show off how great he was with kits "Are you all ready to go?" he purred looking down at the three kits "When we gets there I have hidden a surprise for you three" woof @atomheart
Bleedingheart was glad to finally have a date who wanted to meet her kits as well. They were after all the most important thing in her life. Yet she did enjoy the other dates without them at first but she always ended up worrying about them back in camp. She was released that they were coming on this date, though the trouble they could get in could be massive. She looked over at Crownedstag, pleased with his plans and surprised, she couldn’t have sworn he was a noncommittal flirt.
Palekit eyed Crownedstag warily, he was after all a massive black tom that she did not know. He was the picture perfect image of stranger danger. Plus he was clearly trying something with her her mother, so on that level she did not like him one bit. Yet he promised a fun trip outside of camp. So that was fighting with the urge to not like him. “Where are we going?” She asked, looking up at him with a judgmental gaze.
"Is it candy?" Sanguinekit liked candy, especially from strangers. She didn't have the same reservations about the expedition to the sunstone as her sister apparently did, and she shoved Palekit between the ribs with her shoulder.

Crownedstag smiled "Not candy, but If tell you what it is now, it won't be a surprise later" he teased gently, looking up at Bleedingheart with a dip of his head "We are going to go to the sun stone to bask in the SunGod's rays. It's on the beach, and perhaps we can even do a little bit of swimming in some of the shallow pools" the black tom was in good spirits, obviously not to bothered by the presence of the kits that she had coming with them "But only after you found the treasure that I hid"
"It's totally candy," whispered the tabby kitten to her siblings in a not-so-hushed voice, but she grinned innocently back at Crownedstag when he glanced at her.

Perhaps he should have hidden candy.. but he hadn't. Crownedstag led the little to the sandy beach area around the sun stone. He had a meal and bed of moss spread out for him and Bleedingheart where they could easily keep an eye on the kits while still enjoying themselves. Now that they were here he led them to the sunstone where a crude map had been drawn onto it with paint "All you have to do is follow the map, and when you get here....." he pointed to the little crossed symbol "then you dig in the sand and you will find the treasure!"
Bleedingheart helped the tom herd her kittens towards the beach, three was a rather small litter for SunClan. Yet three kits was about all she could handle, especially with Sanguinekit’s questioning and Palekit’s endless energy. Burnishedkit somehow was the best behaved, though who knows how he would grow up even in the next few weeks. “This looks really nice, thank you for setting this all up.” She looked over at her kits play as she settled down on the moss next to him.
Palekit stared at the map, turning her head nearly upside down in an attempt to figure it out. Clearly this part of the puzzle would best be solved by either of her siblings. Digging in the sand though sounded much more her speed, really anything she got to run around like a nut for was her favorite.

Crownedstag smiled "all queens need a break every once in a while, even those as dedicated as you. A single evening is nothing compared to the work you do with them day in and day out" he watched as the kits stared at the crude map he had painted. He was no artist, but hopefully they would get the general gist of it. Even though he was known to be quite the ladies man, he had a soft spot for kits. He had never been a father, despite his... flirtatious... nature "Besides if it means getting to spend some time with you, than it worth every moment of planning"
