As you pad down the tunnel Bloodystar pointed you toward, you notice right away that the ground is slightly damp and slanting downwards. Typically when you come across a tunnel like this you turn back, but today rose petals cover the floor and moss had been cleared from the main path, so you know you are going the right way. Just when you start to feel safe, however, the ground slopes so dramatically that you lose your footing and find yourself on a slide!
Eventually you come to a halt in a big open cavern that's so bright at first you think you're somehow gone outside. As your eyes adjust you realize that the cave walls are covered in some sort of glowing moss that puts even the night sky to shame... not that, as a SunClan cat, you think the night sky is pretty, of course. There are flowers here and there but not near as many as the tunnels you entered originally, it seems that whoever set this place up for the event had decided to rely on the location's natural beauty instead of decoration.
"Welcome to the Glowing Caves. There's some lemon pepper roasted rabbits over there along with some other goodies, oh and of course Bloodystar insisted on setting up fertility herbs so there's some of those around here too, not that anyone's gonna use 'em," Discordantmeldoy greets you, motioning toward the side of the cave, "I'm the Host of this location and once more cats show up I do have some games to play. For now let's just hang out. Why'd you come to the Single's Mingle anyways? Looking for your forever? Or..." She winks and you and takes a step closer, "A fling?"
Lovelypaw padded down the slope and mostly ignored Discordantmelody, a little bummed out to see it was only her and two other she-cats present, one of which must have been the janitor. Where were the boys? Or was this the tunnel for all the best she-cats of the clan? Were they all chosen by Bloodystar himself?! Oh, she was swooning now, swaying gently on her soft paws.
