Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Bloodystar! Come quickly! There's trouble at the volcano!"
Okay, Lovelypaw could admit that faking an emergency wasn't the best way to start out a date, but c'mon, it's not like she could just walk right up to him and invite him out! Older men were smarter than the apprentices she was used to manipulating playing with, and being the High Priest meant the handsome ginger tom didn't have a lot of spare time on his paws (and he seemed to be a little sulky after getting ripped a new one at the Gathering which had been very funny but she would deny it if anyone asked). Still, it was the only thing she had and if she didn't act fast, her whole set up at the volcano's peak was bound to melt or spontaneously combust.
Her choice of date location was another thought train entirely-- one she didn't have time for.
She charged ahead of Bloodystar, with many breaks to catch her breath because pretty girls like her didn't exercise because sweat was icky and a puffy red face was unflattering, but eventually they made it to the top, and it was at this point the High Priest would get a bit suspicious about the notable lack of...trouble. Instead, what his enchanting celadon gaze would see was an immaculate arrangement of the finest prey in SunClan. Lovelypaw caught it all herself, except all of it. She bribed a more dimwitted apprentice into it. There was a gathering of dried leaves that were burning quaintly in the center of everything, and next to it was a bedding of moss that definitely hadn't caught on fire earlier. The pretty apprentice moved across to it and patted the spot next to her with her tail. "Did I say trouble? Oops, I meant a date," she giggled innocently.
