Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The Scar... Nocturnepaw wasn't sure what the scar was exactly, he had barely been in SunClan for a day before being given ominous instructions to meet Bravepaw at the scar for a game of tag. Simple enough right? Wrong. He could only prey to whichever deity was watching that he was in the right place. Add on the fact that he had no idea which one of these SunClan cats was Bravepaw and he was doomed. That however did not stop him from trying to find the place, as he strolled confidently into the clearing.
Bravepaw had already had one disastrous date so far. Lucky for him, however, a tom had saved him from being pressured into a first kiss he didn't want. Honestly, he went to the Scar with far more hesitation than he had followed the clues to the picnic. At this point, anything could be a terrible date with a she-cat, and who would he get set up with next? He suspiciously walked the barren place, until he spotted another cat. Upon nearing, he blinked, then blinked again. "Nocturnepaw?" The cinnamon silver tabby asked hesitantly. He didn't recognize the cat, and well, this newcomer certainly didn't smell like SunClan, so he wasn't entirely sure he had the right cat.
Nocturnepaw turned at the sound of his name, relieved that so far he had come to the right place. Unless he was actually horribly lost and one of his new clan-mates had happened upon him. Either way at least if he was horrible lost he wouldn't be for much longer. "Bravepaw?" he asked hesitantly, eyeing the tabby up and down. If this tom wasn't Bravepaw he would be secretly disappointed. "If so, at least I made it to the right place. If not then I might have a problem."
Bravepaw visibly sagged in relief as the tom answered his name in turn. "Oh thank the Blind Protector, not another she-cat. You... aren't as girl, right?" He looked a bit embarrassed that he might have assumed something extremely wrong about Nocturnepaw. Honestly, it would be his luck to not only make a bad assumption, but offend yet another date.
Nocturnepaw blinked slowly, caught off guard by the other tom's reaction and the question that followed. Without missing a beat he grinned, his amber eyes amused.
"Last I looked no, is this your way of telling me you think I look pretty?"
At least he hadn't totally ruined this with his question, and Bravepaw blushed brightly under his fur, looking incredibly flustered. "Oh, uh, I-, I mean you're gorgeous, but-uh. Yeah, that's totally what I meant!" His voice went up an octave with the last sentence, as he was now pretty sure he looked as if he'd dunked his head into SunClan's red paint.
Nocturnepaw's grin only widened as he barked out an unexpected laugh, cutting himself off immediately trying not to embarrass Bravepaw any further than he already was. Still this was already the most fun he had since he and his brothers had gone sliding down the tunnels of the regime.
"Relax I'm only joking though I appreciate the compliment coming from a tom as handsome as yourself" she shrugged keeping his tone nonchalant. He paused, letting the silence thicken between them before giving Bravepaw a playful shove and taking a leap backwards putting distance between the two. Before Bravepaw could respond the black bengal turn tail and sprinted away.
Bravepaw was still reeling from Nocturnepaw's comment when he was shoved over by the tom. He rolled, landing on his back, staring up at the sky before he recognized what exactly had just happened, and the fact that the other tom had tagged him. Suddenly, he was jumping to his paws, and racing after the tom. "HEY, NO FAIR!" Of course, Bravepaw wore a giant grin on his face, so he couldn't be that angry.
Now came the tricky part, trying to avoid getting tagged by Bravepaw without tripping or trotting on something in canyon. he's be lucky if he still had pads by the end of this but, that was a tomorrow problem. Right now he just had to be faster than Bravepaw. Looking back over his shoulder he was pleased to see his date was enjoying himself. He had to admit he hadn't expected to be welcomed by his clan-mates so quickly but he liked it. It made things easier.
