This pair of cats are sent to the edges of the twoleg city to pick flowers to bring back for the romance festival from the twoleg gardens. They didn't know who they are going with until the meet up at their rondeau point at The Scar. Unfortunatly this trip isn't going to be as easy as they first thought, a hidden danger waiting on them in the shadows bluejayѕнαdow✩
Lucien was buzzing with excitement, his tail flicking as he approached the rendezvous point. He realized he was the first one there, sitting down and smoothing out his fur and running a paw over his ears. He took a deep breath, peering around to figure out who his blind date would be.
Heart pitter-pattering away like a spooked rabbit on the run, the black she-cat made her way as calmly – but quickly – as she could afford to the meeting point and attempted valiantly to convince herself that she had no reason to fret.
Only, what relief from her ever present anxiety she managed to wrangle for herself was quickly dashed when she caught sight of the tom.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to be late, but I–" Noticing her voice was unnecessarily raised, she blushed and quieted herself, "–got lost."
Please let this be who I'm supposed to meet, she thought to herself with dread. Embarrassing herself twice in a row? Only she could experience something so unfortunate.
The tom turned when he heard Blacklight’s voice and a pang of disappointment hit when he realized that he had been paired up with another she-cat again. Still, he kept a friendly smile on his face and chuckled. “No worries, I don’t exactly think the flowers will run away if we’re a bit late. I’m Lucien.” He dipped his head respectfully.
The black she-cat blinked, momentarily noticing the disappointment on the tom's face, but chose to dismiss it rather than call attention to it. "Blacklight." She nodded her head in return, chuckling at his comment. "Shall we?"
