A nap that lasted the majority of the day was just what he need, he'd found a cozy secluded spot away from camp and crashed. Wildflicker had spent the last two days busily hunting, foregoing food and sleep in his usual way, until it had all caught up to him and he'd had to sleep it off. Most were now used to his bizarre behavior and not a soul even asked where he'd been as he padded back into camp, yawning and dragging a scrawny squirrel in with him so as not to appear entirely useless. As he dropped it off and stretched Wildflicker felt his energy rush back into him and looked around for an outlet. It was always like this with him - he couldn't sleep and found himself desperate to burn off his surge of energy, then he'd inevitably over do it and fall asleep somewhere out in the territory, just to return and start the cycle over.
Food was her life. If she wasn't eating, then she was thinking about what she could be eating, whether it was actually edible or not. And in this moment, Pumpkinspice was doing both. She sat near the fresh kill pile, scarfing down her second mouse, but her mind kept wandering to the crystal caves. She had never actually gone in them before, but she had caught glimpses. The rumored glimmering rocks that sat inside of them sounded like a perfect snack, but the thought of going inside of them on her own almost turned her off from the idea. Almost. Her eyes flickered to the nearest cat, which just so happened to be Wildflicker dropping off a squirrel, and quickly finished off the rest of her mouth before shooting up to her paws.
"Lets go to the caves!" she shouted, her orange eyes unwavering and focused on the tom, so there was no question who the statement was directed towards.

Wildflicker, as usual, had zero awareness of those around him, absorbed as he was in his own business. Even as he'd glanced around for someone his brain had simply skipped right passed Pumpkinspice. Until she spoke and the fluffy tom turned his head to look into her orange eyes, "okay," he responded, no hesitation whatsoever. "Let's do it, race ya!"
Had he ever spent much time in this cat's presence? Nope. Did he really know her at all? Also nope. Did he kick dirt and debris up as he spun and raced out of camp, intent on leaving her in the dust? That's a yes. The tom zipped by Ravendagger and Magnoliawhimsy, not caring to even apologize for tripping them up, and burst out into the territory. A feeling of wonderful freedom coursed through him and as he ran he did a little jump, chuckling to himself as he went. Had he already forgotten Pumpkinspice. Yes, yes he had.
If Pumpkinspice had been any other cat, she probably would have been confused, or at least even a little shocked, at how quickly events had just unfolded, but the she-cat had never been one to question things. Just like when she was somehow in charge of the clan for a day as an apprentice, she just rolled with it, not even hesitating as she took off after Wildflicker.
Her mind was completely preoccupied with their destination as she dashed through the two warriors, though she did manage to shout a totally heartfelt apology as she followed after Wildflicker, her eyes locked on him. There was no way that he would beat her there and eat all of the tasty rocks himself! Though it seemed like she wasn't catching up, she wasn't losing too much ground. "Those rocks are all mine!" she shouted, pushing her legs to go faster. This is what she got for slacking once she became a nursery aid!
