Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Stark has decided to step down from Janus. Please give them a big thank you for their time serving SunClan <3
This means that there is now an open Janus position in SunClan that needs to be filled. The Janus will be playing a large role in an upcoming plot, so we are looking for someone that is active, and interested in being pretty involve in SunClan. To give a little more flexibility to which character is chosen for this position, you can choose to have your character promoted to Janus under Bloodystar or Littlestar(who will be returning soon hopefully).

Character Name: Dancinglight
Character Biography:
Her habit of always moving around or fidgeting as a kit earned her the name of dancing. Back then, all she concerned herself with was constantly playing alongside her siblings and never resting. Now, her dance has become elegant and precise. Every movement she makes is well-thought out and every effort is made to ensure her physical appearance and reputation stay dutifully intact. Apart from her service to the Sun God, her self-image is of the utmost importance. Dancinglight believes in the Sun God with all of her heart, and will never disregard her religion or the code, no matter the circumstance. Her values have had their consequences though. Making friendships has always been difficult for her and every day, she grows more distant from her family. She feels torn with the fact that she doesn’t carry true SunClan blood in her veins, and so creates a gap between the few siblings that reside in SunClan and her mother. However, she still deeply cares for all of her family and hopes to one day, accept them fully. Her short fur is a pale ginger with faint markings a shade darker. She has a white underbelly and toes, a fluffy tail with longer fur than the rest of her coat, and bright amber eyes.
Why do you want to be a Janus?:
I always imagined Dancinglight getting a position like this as it’s something she views as highly honorable purely because of her undying faith in the Sun God. I feel that getting this position would help to develop her even more and since she’s the only she-cat I seem to actively rp, I want to have even more reason to! I also really like the plots in this clan and want to feel more involved in them. Since the Janus have an important role in an upcoming plot, I’m especially interested.
Which leader to promote and why?:
I’m 100% okay with either leader doing it so long as it would be in character for them to do so. Here’s my reasoning for each...
Bloodystar- Dancinglight refused to leave for DayClan when her family did because she believed that Littlestar murdered the Sun God in cold blood. She viewed Bloodystar as the only piece of their god they had left and practically worshipped him. She does have some doubts now, but is also in denial. Anyway, I could see a loyalist like her being “rewarded” for these actions and it could even secure her faith in Bloodystar (even after he’s eventually demoted :3)
Littestar- This would be interesting just because Dancinglight thinks or thought that she hated Littlestar and after Bloodystar’s out of the picture, she’ll probably think she has nothing left in SunClan. For Littlestar to promote her would be crazy but she’d probably view it as an act of forgiveness. Also kind of a reward for her unwavering support in the Sun God while also staying clear of any questionable antics under Bloodystar’s reign (ie. being unnecessarily cruel to non-believers, stealing kits, etc.)
Why do you want to be a Janus?: I would love to get more involved with SunClan as I have only one cat here at the moment. It would be a good fit for Bleedingheart because she is devoted to the Sun God above all. Plus I just love the fun cult atmosphere that’s goes on.
Which leader do you want to promote your character? why?: Either leader would be fine. Bloodystar would most likely promote her because of her faith to the Sun God even though she has occasionally spoken against him. Littlestar would most likely promote her because even when the clan was struggling she was trying to help make things better.
Character name: Honesttruth Character biography: What is honesty? Many cats think honesty means you "don't tell a lie" and that is definitely part of being honest. But honesty means far more than not lying. Honesty is the absence of deception. Honesttruth is an open book, saying whatever is on his mind with little filter. He openly shares the intimate details of his life, even when those details are not his to share. Cats learn quickly to leave him out of schemes that require any sort of deception or stealth, unless they want the news of their depiction to spread far and wide. As bad as he is at telling lies, Honesttruth tends to surprise others with just how easily he can tell a truth from a lie. Even though he is quick to spread rumors, he does so to find out the truth that lies underneath in his never ending quest for knowledge. If you want to find some information, just present it as a mystery to Honesttruth and watch him do his work. Honest kit has a long scraggly coat of thick grey and white just like his mother’s, sharing her golden eyes. His coat often looks unkempt, despite his best efforts to keep up his appearance.
Why do you want to be a Janus?: I honestly adore the position so much, It was always a blast, and I couldn't wait for all the plots happening every week. In truth the only reason I stepped down was because I got injured and was struggling to RP and was afraid I wouldn't heal in time to participate in the upcoming plots. I loved working with the current staff and would be honored to be part of it again, however given that I just stepped down I completely understand if I'm not picked again. XD Which leader do you want to promote your character? why?: Bloodystar, because he would have no issues about picking his adoptive son and I'm impatient and don't want to wait for Littlestar XD
