Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bugkit charged out of the nursery. Ready to tackle the day head first. His tail stuck out behind him like a twig. His small body quivered under all of his pent of energy. He was looking to closest kit, apprentice, warrior, queen or just cat in general that he could bully into playing a game with him because he was bored. But in the end he got distracted. A garden keeper must of brought some flowers into the camp and dropped one near the nursery. The vibrant petals caught Bugkit’s attention. He could smell a faded sweet scent coming from it. What further interested about the flower was the large fat bumble bee lazily buzzing around it. He watched as the bee finally landed. He crept closer he hasn’t seen this type of bug before. It was bright yellow and black and appeared fuzzy looking. He wondered if it was as soft as cat fur. He suck his paw out. He wanted to pet it and see if it was as soft as it looked. His paw inched closer and closer...
Weevilkit was laying on his back beside Sunkit, staring upside-down at Bugkit as his brother examined the bumble bee. He gazed up lazily at his sister. "We should probably stop him," he commented, making no move to get up whatsoever.
Bugkit was about to sabotage himself. He didn't realize the fuzzy adorable black and yellow flying insect was actually a murder machine. His paw inched close enough that the fur on his toes and the pad of his paw brushed ever so gently against the back side of the bee. The bee feeling Bugkit's paw crawled up onto onto it. Balancing not to gracefully on three legs he brought his paw closer to his face. "Hey guys look I made a friend!!" He shouted at his siblings in an excited manner. As he watched the bee crawl around on his paw and up his leg. It then flew onto his nose staring him dead in the eyes.... when it happened...
Quick as flash the bee jabbed him in the nose with it's stinger. Bugkit let out a howl in pain. Screaming at the top of his lungs 'get it off!!' as he spun in a circle. The bee falling to the ground dead.
Azaleakit had just woken up, and was still laying groggily in bed when she heard the screams. Was that her brother? Quickly, and almost tripping over her paws, she dashed out of the nursery to see Bugkit spinning in circles. Her brown eyes flittered to Sunkit and Weevilkit, then back to her injured brother. "Hey, hey, it's alright," she said, running over to Bugkit's side and trying to put a paw on him to calm him down. Once more, she turned her head to her other siblings. "What even happened?" she asked, and why didn't you guys move to stop it? But she kept her doubts to herself. It wasn't good to question her own family.
Bugkit stopped his death spin had tears streaming from his eyes. He turned to look at his sister with a pleading look 'help me'. His nose was swelling and his cheeks were puffing up. He looked similar to a chipmunk that had shoved one too many acorns in his mouth.
"Oops, guess we just weren't fast enough." Languidly, Sunkit stretched out of her position next to Weevilkit and strolled across to where Bugkit was having his meltdown. She wasn't in the least fazed by his pain, but to her credit the amusement no longer stained her gaze. "C'mere, bugs. Ya gotta take the stinger out before ya swell up the size of the moon. Then you'll be Bugmoon or Bugpuff when you're a warrior and those aren't very flattering, are they?" She leaned forward to clip her teeth around the source of the pain and swiftly yanked it out, spitting at down at Azaleakit's paws.
(xD wait until he realizes that his warrior name is Bugbite! The horror! Also do they call Ratstar dad )
"Help" Was the only word Bugkit managed to squeak out as he looked in the direction of Sunkit. He froze at unbelieveable horror when Sunkit suggested possible warrior names that he might get. That he didn't realize she had yanked the stinger out of his nose. "I don't want to named Bugmoon or BUGPUFF!! Don't say it too loud or Dad might get ideas and name me that!" Bugkit squeaked loudly as the fur on his back puffed up.
(I think they all choose what they call him depending on if they know he's their dad or not! sun calls him papi and paps ;3)
Sunkit's wicked grin was full of teeth. "Well, whatcha gonna do for me, bugs? You're gonna hafta sweeten the deal if ya don't want me telling Papi," she bargained, wondering what deals Bugkit would be willing to make when his future was on the line.
"Okay, fun's over, Sunkit. Knock it off." Weevilkit was content to just lay around and watch his sisters deal with Bugkit from a distance, though he felt a little guilty when he noticed the tears in his brother's eyes. But witnessing Sunkit began to blackmail their brother was where he drew the line. In one swift motion the kit flipped over and rose to his paws, various clumps of dirt and grass sticking to his back where it had been pressed up against the ground. "Papa wouldn't do something like that, and you know it. Stop tormenting Bugkit, and let's get him over to Graythorn to treat his nose."
The fluffy kitten blew a raspberry back at Weevilkit's interruption, her flaring spirit being doused by his sudden change in demeanor. "Way to be a killjoy," she grumbled, but a glare she received from her partner in crime stifled any further complaints for the time being. Suddenly nonchalant about the ordeal, she waved it off with a whisk of her plumy, ginger-threaded tail. "C'mon bugsy, let's go find Graythorn and get you all deflated so you don't become, well, yknow." A glimpse at Weevilkit and a secondary, more knowing glance back at Bugkit, was enough to glean that Sunkit meant the nicknames she'd taunted previously, but she veiled them thinly by just not mentioning them verbally.
Well, at least they were doing stuff now. Azaleakit glanced down at the stinger that Sunkit had dropped at her paws, a slight frown still gracing her features. "Don't worry, don't worry, I'm sure your warrior name will be perfectly normal," she said, bringing her gaze back to her mess of a brother. This time, she managed to keep any accusatory thoughts out of her mind as she lightly tapped Bugkit with her tail in an attempt to lead him to Graythorn.
