Some time back, Vixenkismet had promised to bring Windchaser's second litter back. Once she became DayClan's healer in wake of Goldenstar's promotion, Foxbane had decided it was about time to make good on that promise, and had pulled the Immortal Council member aside to tell her she should be expecting to be pregnant within a moon. The ex-Priestess didn't actually explain to Windchaser how she intended to accomplish this, and StarClan had already, technically, turned the medicine cat down. Not that that ever stopped the fox furred feline.
It was almost exactly a moon to date, when she saw a shadow of a cat stepping into the den. One rather short conversation later, Foxbane gave the Immortal Council member a wide grin. "You're pregnant." She announced, looking rather excited.
The color drained from Windchaser's face and her blood ran cold through her veins. Pregnant? "Wait...a-are you saying the reincarnation was a...success?" She began to tremble with excitement and inticipation, getting high hopes before actually knowing for sure their plan was a success. Foxbane could be just telling her that she was pregnant with her fourth litter and were not the kits she was trying to bring back.
