Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
these kits are 50% springclan 50% rogue, but they won't super remember living in springclan since raggedpaw is abandoning them to summer! they'll remember snippets of it, and eventually when they're older, ragged will come looking for them to apologize and meet them!
Technically, from what Jetstar had told the clan at their last meeting, SpringClan cats were exempt from the SummerClan's isolation period. However, as dumb as she may have been, Raggedpaw was no idiot and knew that ditching a litter of kits on her lonesome didn't technically qualify as a patrol. But it was her only option.
Looking between the five unwitting scraps, she felt a pang in her heart, but knew whatever life they lived here would be better than having an apprentice for a mother. The only token they would have left of her would be their names-- Coalkit, Hollykit, Jollykit, Merrykit, and Snowflakekit-- though Jollykit looked very similar to her, down to their brown tabby pelts but where her eyes were blue, his were a lush forest green.
She bowed her head to speak to her kits, her voice light and feigning excitement: "Okay now, who wants to play a game? I'm going to count to ten and you four are going to start running that way-" her tail gestured to the neighboring treeline. The kits wouldn't know the difference between neutral grounds and clan territory, but she was distinctly aware of the scent of SummerClan. "-and when I get to zero, I'm going to play chase. Sound like fun? Then let's start! Ten... nine...."
They didn't wait for her to get any further down the list. All five kits were tripping over themselves to get ahead, giggling with glee while also shushing one another, but little did they know was that their mother only cast a sullen glance after them before sprinting in the opposite direction.

Coralkit took off running into the brush, a slight breeze whisked through her fur. The sun was bright, and kept her pelt lightly toasted. She glanced to her sides to look at her siblings who followed in tow.
