Ferventprayer laid her head gently onto her paws, cobwebs still bound around her throat. While she was recovering physically it was clear to see that she was struggling. The normally vibrant and outgoing she-cat was quiet and reserved, but more than that she hardly attended the morning or evening prayers. It was a stark change, and her father Bloodystar was to busy with other things to notice even this major change in his daughter. Despite reassurances that it wasn't her fault, she couldn't help but feel responsible for what had happened... She had prayed so hard for Tranquilpaw to come back to them, and she had... Just not in the way she had imagined.
Her father had made her and her siblings paint her pelt with the symbols of death, and watch as her head was...was.... She began to tremble the terrible images flashing through her mind.
Namely because he'd been lurking in the background of the clan. After seeing MoonClan reclaim their lands and drive SunClan back to their burned out camp, and ravaged lands. He'd felt... defeated.
This whole time, he'd joined SunClan to watch it all burn down. To enjoy playing the role as one of Bloodystar's allies in beating down on the remnants of SunClan, help him bring about SunClan's ruin...
And in the process he'd put himself at ground zero for it all.
Worse.
Worse as he suffered the same suffering he'd 'wanted' to watch. He'd gone from feeling vindictive and like he was in control... to realizing hehad no control. He'd simply thrown himself onto Bloodystar's strings and become just one of many pawns.
He wasn't an outsider, he was right along with the rest suffering, and as a result rather than continue to look down on them. He'd started leaning on them, attaching himself to others to hang on to his sanity and strength by a thread.
And now his leg was hurting something horrible from the fight with MoonClan, but he resolutely carried over the pathetic little mouse he'd managed to catch over to Ferventprayer. He set down the mouse. "Wanna share?" He asked pawing the mouse towards her.

Ferventpaw trembled, when a voice broke the nightmares that plagued her. She slowly opened here eyes to see the mouse dangling from her friends jaws. The clan was struggling to find enough food to feed everyone, but at least they did have some food now. But even the scent was enough to make her stomach roll, she shook her head "I'm not hungry, but you should enjoy it" honestly she felt like she didn't deserve it, it was her fault the dead had risen... Her fault that so many in the clan were too hurt to hunt.
She laid her head back down on her paws, even her friend being at her sound not enough to lift her spirits
