Gleamingkit gazed around at the inside of the warriors' den with wide, awestruck eyes. Everything was so much bigger here than it was in the nursery--he felt like he'd suddenly shrunken down to the size of a mouse, trapped in a world he was far too small for. He'd thought it was a good idea to sneak in and explore, but now he was getting to have second thoughts.
Turning around abruptly to leave, he was suddenly faced with a giant looming over him, a warrior--or perhaps a demon--behind him that he hadn't noticed. "P-please don't eat me!" he squeaked, tears welling up in his eyes.
