Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mudflower wandered around camp. She had just paid a visit to the queens and kits, dropping off some fresh-kill she had just caught. It was always difficult for her to visit that den. She was jealous of the queens that had given birth. The brown she-cat dreamed of the day that she might be able to raise kin of her own, but she knew it may be impossible with no attraction to toms. She consistently thought about a loophole, but had given up recently. At times, Mudflower felt alone. Her kindness was well-known around camp, but she was often taken advantage of because of her willingness to help others. She didn't have any close friends. The she-cat was feeling depressed. She laid down on the cold ground and closed her lime green eyes, hoping her days of loneliness would come to an end soon.
Unbeknownst to Mudflower, someone had taken notice of her pitiful state, watching her aimless wandering. They had recognized the sour look in her eyes from the moment she had emerged from the nursery, and lazily followed her throughout her little stroll. When she had finally plopped herself down and attempted to rest, only then did the figure stand up from where they had been sitting and pad across camp, tredding carefully towards her. The feline came to a stop directly in front of Mudflower, staring down at her with a curious smile on his face. Rookback wasn't a stranger to self-pity; it was part of the reason the former loner had ended up in Earthclan to begin with, and from all the time he had spent feeling sorry for himself, he clearly recognized it when he saw it. Honestly, he didn't know this she-cat at all personally, though he did remember seeing her smiling and laughing with other clanmates occasionally. It was a shame to see a kind and youthful warrior like that in such a state. "Hey. Mudflower, right?"
