Astralbelly felt the brittle grass tickle her nose as she peeked around an abandoned rabbit den. The air was getting chillier and leaf bare would soon be upon them. The fluffy ivory cat frowned a little and stuck a paw in the den to feel the dirt. It was hard and cold, telling her that it needed a bit of work before the rabbits would want to use it again.
A crack from a nearby oak caught her attention a little too late and a branch tumbled down the massive tree and landed with a crash. She was hardly a whisker away from where it landed it. "Oh my!" Her body was visibly shaking now, not from the brisk air but from the shock of nearly being crushed.
