RENEGADE REGIME Commander Shule, of course, showed up with her group of cats. They were well fed enough, which was nice, since it took them long enough to get to a steady place... though she already knew prey was thinning in their frigid wasteland of a territory. She hoped winter wouldn't be too bad, but she let her fears slide as she climbed up with the rest of the leaders. She recognized the MoonClan scent, they had been... hanging out near the border recently, though last she recalled, Marvelcanvas had been a SunClan cat. Hmm. And she of course knew about Goldenstar, she'd heard that one. Jetstar, she didn't really know, though she vaguely recognized the cat.
She nodded to her great niece, the new DayClan leader. "Goldenstar." The militant feline offered, tail twitching a quiet greeting to the rest of the leaders.
DAYCLAN Fia Cendrillon flashed her wife a smile, the newly named DayClan deputy sticking close by her wife's side until she climbed the tree, then sat herself by Yuccablossom. "It's weird, without Glow."
Vixenkismet, was surprised to see Jetstar up in the tree, and offered a wave up at the feline. "Nice to see you're not dead after all, Jetstar." She called, simply presuming that since Jetclaw was up with the other leaders, that she had been given the same title.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Senescence didn't usually show up to these things, but really, she was here out of curiosity to seeing Bloodyrondo's reaction. Or maybe she was desperately hoping to see her mother show up somehow, because she still seemed to be in internal denial that Glowstar was gone in the first place.
DAYCLAN Igziq trailed at the back of the group. It had been a long time since she showed up to one of these. The last one she could remember had Vera E'tani as leader of the League, and there were more leaders sharing the stage. It just felt strange to be on the ground, looking up at the leaders. As she searched the treetops, her eyes settled on Jetstar, and she gave her a quick wink.
We need an authority figure... heck I am an authority figure // Springclan Deputy

Delusionalhaven (MoonClan) and Scorchedwhisker (SunClan) Delusionalhaven had broken away from the rest of the Moonclan cats, scanning across the clearing for a familiar cream colored pelt. These gatherings were some of the only times she’d be able to see her son, and the last time she had seen him he had been with the patrol that chased them from their territory. She wasn’t cross with her son, far from it. He was a Sunclan cat now, a choice that he had made, and he was only doing his duty. She hadn’t had a chance to speak with him then and would have liked nothing more than to see him now. A small purr erupted from her throat the moment she saw his pelt.
“Scorchedwhisker…!” She called out to him, quickly trotting over to him. Scorchedwhisker looked up almost immediately when he heard his mother’s voice. Without a second thought he ran over to her, pressing his face against her fur. Now that he was older, he had to crouch down to meet her small frame, but it didn’t stop his mother from showering her son in affectionate licks and kisses.
“Hiya mom…” He whispered, quickly explaining to her about all of his scars and how he got them.
Silverdragon (Sunclan) The smokey gray tom watched as his clanmate ran to the Moonclan she-cat. The tom curled his lip a bit at the sight. He understood that the gathering was a time of peace, but must he make such a show of it? Especially considering the fact that Sunclan had made an enemy of Moonclan? Silverdragon wasn't sure he trusted the emotional state of his clanmate. He could say anything to the she-cat that might reveal something they shouldn't know. But Scorchedwhisker was smarter than that, and the sunclan tom knew that. Yet, that didn't stop Silverdragon from keeping an eye on the pair.
Goldengriffon (Springclan) The pale tabby did his best to hide how nervous he felt. This was his first time at the gathering with the tightly of deputy. His whiskers twitched and his tail swayed behind him, all normal gestures of any cat. But for those that knew Goldengriffon, they'd know that his nerves were acting up from the fast motion. The pale tabby gave himself a quick shake as he followed Jetstar. Unsure of where to sit, he made his way to the other deputies that he recognized, and sat down amongst them
Burningsummer (DayClan) Since Fia Cendrillion was now DayClan's official deputy, the immortal council wouldn't need to sit near the base of the tree. So Burningsummer opted to sit near Vixenkismet instead. Since the she cat had broken down crying against Burningsummer, Burningsummer had wanted to stay close to her friend. She had no doubt Bloodystar would comment about killing Glowstar and she wasn't sure how exactly Vixenkismet would choose to react.
So she would be nearby to support her regardless.
Jetstar (SpringClan)
Jetstar tried not to puff up her chest with pride when Foxstar (well not Foxstar anymore), addressed her by her new title. Made it more real. She'd been kind of looking forward to standing as equals with the likes of Glowstar. Learning she was gone and replaced was a bummer.
She caught Igziq's wink and offered her a wry smile, though it could be misconstrued as being directed at anyone, even her own cats.
She turned to Marvelcanvas. "Well once you get your lives, you and me can talk at some point." She didn't love the Moon Goddess, but at this point if the Sun God didn't come back and his first act was sending a lightning bolt to strike down Bloodycrow, she wasn't happy with either of them. "It was Bloodycrow that drove off MoonClan right?" She asked. She couldn't actually remember who Marvelcanvas's brother was.
But Bloodycrow was like the biggest problem in the whole forest. So it was probably him, or tied to him.
The flame-point nodded in agreement when the SpringClan mentioned wanting to talk. It seemed only fair seeing that MoonClan had, for the time being, moved in next door to the Mountain Clans. Just between WinterClan and The Regime.
"Yes... it was" she said hesitantly looking around to see if her littermate had shown up yet, or if he even would. She didn't even comment on the fact that Jetstar had called him Bloodycrow. She had seen first hand what he'd done to SunClan and even she couldn't deny he deserved the name.
Jetstar nodded. "We'll definitely have to speak later." She said softly to the MoonClan leader. An ally against Bloodycrow would be most beneficial, and with Bloodycrow squatting on MoonClan's territory she wouldn't even need to risk her cats in a strike against Bloodycrow, but SpringClan was a compassionate clan. And to her more isolationist members, they'd prefer MoonClan to be back where it belonged.
The SpringClan leader cast her gaze around the clearing. "It would seem we're waiting on FallClan, WinterClan, NightClan and SunClan." She noted, gaze then lifting to the moon that was still rising high in the sky. "We'll give them a little longer and then we'll start." She said looking to the other leaders to see if they had something to add.
Solarpaw (DayClan) Solarpaw frowned softly shaking his head as Coralpaw said she didn't remember anything Raggedpaw told her. "That's a shame, Raggedpaw has quite the interesting things to say." He said casting a glance at the scarred she cat and offering her a flirty smile. "And Jetstar huh?" He glanced up to the leader tree and frowned. "I suppose you must be quite a... special sort to require your leaders personal attention." He said flicking his tail, before turning back to Raggedpaw.
"I was so hoping you would come visit me and my sister at some point." He meowed, glancing back to see if his sister was around. She'd been hesitant about coming to the gathering and he'd lost track of her in everyone
"Nightclan is here" came a powerful voice that did not match the condition of the cat it came from. Flamingstar entered the clearing, her condition poor. She did not look like the powerful goddess she once was. Her body was still burned and her fur was clumped from the poultice that was used to heal her burns but despite her poor condition, she led her clan with confidence. She limped up to the front, taking her place beside the other leaders, searching the crowd for Burningsummer and Alabastor. Perhaps seeing her strength coming out of losing a life because of them will make them fear her all the more.
Burningsummer hadn't even been sure Flamingstar would even show up. But when the leader of NightClan's voice carried over the crowd, the ginger she cat's tail lashed. Eyes narrowing. She turned towards the leader of NightClan.
If Flamingstar was expecting Burningsummer to be impressed, the former leader was anything but. She took in Flamingstar's state with cold amber eyes, and in fact a challenging look to her eyes.
Burningsummer had gone back and forth after she'd pushed Flamingstar into the fire. Part of her torn on whether it had been the right choice, as she had acted emotionally. But now seeing the cat before her again, returned that simmering anger.
No not, anger, disgust. Disgust at how she'd been willing to endanger the lives of those who trusted and loved her, all in the name of her pursuit for power.
So she regarded Flamingstar coldly, not a hint of remorse or fear in her gaze. If Flamingstar announced that Burningsummer had burned her, Burningsummer was ready to snap back about her willingness to kill her own children. Something NightClan wasn't aware of, along with how she'd nearly killed Creampuff in the name of making her stronger.
Burningsummer lifted her chin slightly as her and Flamingstar's eyes met.
Bleakwind stuck close to Flamingstar as she led NightClan into the Gathering. Even though she pointedly stood tall, he kept close ready to protect her at any moment.
Jetstar (SpringClan)
Jetstar tilted her head when she saw the burns on Flamingstar. "Seems I've missed a lot since my presumed death." She mused to no one in particular. The only fire she'd been aware of was the flames that had consumed SunClan. She hadn't seen many burns as severe as Flamingstar's among the Forest Clan cats, and she was rather surprised to see Flamingstar of all cats burned so badly.
Flamingstar spent a good amount of time posturing, but if she could find out how the NightClan leader had gotten her burns, perhaps there was another ally she could court in working to destroy Bloodycrow. If Flamingstar had gotten them thanks to SunClan.
Flamingstar held Burningsummer's gaze strong, unwavering up until Jetstar spoke. She twitched her ear before meeting Jetstar's rude staring. "Perhaps you weren't taught any manners but it is rude to stare." Flamingstar fired back, feeling uncomfortable under all the eyes of the cats staring at her burns.
Jetstar snorted. "It's hard not to look at the one who shouted her presence to all, considering you look like you got into a fight with a fire. Did Bloodycrow get to you too?" She asked. "From what I've heard, SunClan got pretty burnt up again." She said her eyes narrowing an ears flattening.
Wintrystar had contemplated not showing at all. They'd just mode camps, and with that things needed to be done. Cleaning, hunting, arrangements of dens and patrols, and much more. Tasks that were turning out to be time-consuming on top of having just birthed her own kits. It was all exhausting, and for that, she'd nearly forgone attending the gathering. And yet, here she was. Standing tall and proud with a trail of WinterClan cats behind her.
"You were staring. And no, Bloodycrow did not. In fact, it was no enemy. It was one of the fire gang allies, a traitor." She shot a scornful glare at Burningsummer.
Well there went all interest in courting Flamingstar as an ally. Jetstar rolled her eyes. "Of course, of course," She said waving her tail dismissively. She didn't know why she'd thought the NightClan leader would do anything but posture. It was all she did.
So deciding she was done giving Flamingstar the attention she craved she turned to the WinterClan leader and dipped her head. "Greetings Wintrystar," She meowed. Familiar with this cat from seeing her at a few all clan gatherings in the past.
Though it was the first time formally seeing the WinterClan leader since her promotion.
The immortal council member met Flamingstar's glare, a challenging look in her eyes. While it would've normally been bad for her to have done such a thing, Burningsummer felt justified. Flamingstar had been trying to kill her own children, and Autumngossamer who had been trying to save the children.
'Go ahead Flamingstar, say who did it, I'm quite happy to loose your secret to the clans. See if NightClan will stand behind you then.' Burningsummer thought tail flicking behind her.
Knightrunner (DayClan) Knightrunner's claws dug into the ground as WinterClan arrived and Wintrystar walked right into the Gathering. He looked at the WinterClan cats who had come trying to pick out the stolen Sweetiepeach kits, or Sweetiepeach herself. Even Bluejay for that matter whom Wintrystar had spoken of abusing, along with her kits.

Dayclan
When asked what happened to Glowstar, she froze. Long enough for the conversation to advance without her and she snapped back into the mortal plane. Goldenstar let out a sigh as the cats bickered around her. It was moments like these that she missed Glowstar, who could cut through the tension without even realizing it was there. She wasn't used to being up here, looking at everyone as an equal rather than a leader of another clan. It was bad as an Immortal Council member, but now it was worse knowing she held Dayclan's lives in her paws. She greeted each leader, though sometimes went second so she could get their names. Worst yet, Sunclan hadn't arrived. It was only going to get worse.
Jetstar looked around and noted who was present and who wasn't. "Well FallClan and SunClan haven't arrived yet, but the moon is high, we should get this gathering underway." She said.
She held up her tail and waited for the cats gathered to fall silent, taking a moment to soak in the power and authority. Even though it was just that, but a moment.
"As one of the new leaders up here, and the one who said we should get started." 'And before any inevitable craziness as these gatherings are wont to cause happens' she added silently. "I'll start off. Unfortunately I must begin by stating that due to extenuating circumstances, Thistlestar was no longer able to continue leading. So I, Jetstar, was chosen by StarClan to take up the position of leader."
She glanced down at the roots below. "I have chosen Goldengriffon as my deputy, and during my tenure as leader I've promoted several new warriors: Eclipsingmoon, Eveningrose, Lunarpoem. Along with starting Maskedpaw, Gracefulpaw, Coralpaw, Raggedpaw and Servalpaw on their training as apprentices."
Jetstar smiled. "SpringClan is doing quite well," She added. "And I wanted to take a moment to recognize it before handing it over to the next leader."
A soft jab at the fact that she imagined there was a great deal of drama about to go down, and she couldn't wait to see it.
But as she settled back into her spot she felt pleased that she'd put on a good show for her cats. They could feel validated in knowing their leader recognized their accomplishments and promotions in front of all clans.
Good for morale and good for her standing and oh so easy to do.
Flamingstar curled her lip at Jetstar's rude exit but said nothing more. The Nightclan leader was silent and content on waiting for the other clans to show but she began to bristle once Jetstar took control of the gathering. She hadn't even been leader long enough to take the reigns. What a show off. Flamingstar stepped forward next, scanning the cats below her. "All is well in Nightclan and despite my current state, we are stronger than ever and are celebrating our accomplishment at defeating Sunclan." She gave a quick, scornful glare at Bloodycrow. "It was unfortunate that Glowstar lost her life to such a ridiculous battle and in such a brutal way. Dayclan has our condolences. I am willing to set aside our differences if Dayclan is ever in need of assistance going forward." She continued, giving a genuine dip of her head to Goldenstar before turning back to the crowd. "That is all." She stepped back to let the next leader speak.

Dayclan
Goldenstar had hoped they would have let her make the announcement of Glowstar's death, but she figured now she shouldn't have expected that from Flamingstar. Oh well. After the whole suspicion with Tigerlily, she really didn't know if she could take Flamingstar at her word or not. She didn't want Dayclan in Nightclan's pocket, especially now that Tigerlily was in the Immortal Council. But she nodded back to Flamingstar before stepping up to take her place at the head.
"Yes, what you've just heard is true. Glowstar valiantly gave her life in the battle against Sunclan. Dayclan held an election, and has nominated me, Goldenphantom, to take her place. And Starclan has validated that decision. It is an honor." It wouldn't have crossed her mind if Dayclan was tired of that, but she couldn't help but be overly grateful. "While we are still grieving, changes have also been made. I've chosen Fia Cendrillon as my deputy and head of the Immortal Council, and Burningsummer and Tigerlily have joined the Immortal Council. We appreciate the condolences, and Dayclan will thrive as she would have wanted. Thank you."
For once SunClan arrived to the Gathering late. To be blunt, they all looked like hell, their body paints were not the usual vibrant shades and couldn't hide the hollow expression in their eyes or the thinness of their pelts and frames. The cats of SunClan had fallen upon hard times since the Fire Nation's raid and there wasn't a single soul present who hadn't suffered.
Eyes blazing, Bloodystar leapt up onto the tree with the rest of the leaders and shot daggers at anyone who dared level their gaze at him. Every single Forest leader here was an enemy that he'd love to see dead, but he wouldn't dream of missing this meeting and let them think that they'd won, because they hadn't. One glance at the Mountain leaders also told him he wasn't a fan of them, either, as Jetclaw seemed to be leading SpringClan, SpringClan and SummerClan had always been strong allies.
"It's fitting that DayClan would pick another she-cat for leadership," Bloodystar said in response to Goldenstar's words he'd heard the end of during his approach. His voice wasn't as fiery as usual, though, he was much more reserved, "Let me guess: You were selected with a popularity contest?" strawberrycupid
DAYCLAN Fia Cendrillon would never let a slight against her wife go. By the time he was finished speaking, Fia had climbed all the way up to stand beside her mate. "If you have a problem with she-cats leading, I'm happy to send you to the same fate as your worthless god." She looked him up and down with a derisive, mockingly sweet sort of smile. "Though by the look of you, you're helping yourself along to that eventual end just fine without my help." The she-cat shrugged. "At least DayClan allows free thought, and gives it's members a say in their leadership. We don't need sell our dignity and throw out our members to keep an unearned title, Bloodyrondo." Jadie
SpringClan Jetstar nodded to Fia Cendrillion. "And she would have help. Don't forget that even the spirits have turned against you."
She lifted her chin. "They brought me back from the dead, to darken your days Bloodycrow." She said, lips curling up as she threw out the biggest SunClan insult. "Not only has the Sun God ceased guiding your paws, but even the ancestors of old, have turned against you."
She brought up a paw and licked it pointedly. "After all, the dead don't rise to attack their own, unless their leader has acted unfavorably." She added, casting her gaze out to the SunClan cats.
