Bleedingheart pranced back into camp with a pair of mice. She was really proud that she had been finally promoted to a full warrior even if the clan was currently in shambles. She he’s been talking herself that it would all be worth it when she received her name. So far it wasn’t exactly as wonderful as she thought. The battle and subsequent fire did put a bit of a damper on things. Yet she had faith that where ever the Sun God was he would put things back the way they were supposed to be. A little part of her wanted that to not include Bloodystar, she just didn’t like him. He was far to tyrannical and Bleedingheart felt that he was twisting the Sun God’s words to further whatever it was he wanted.
Setting down her catch she looked around at the bedraggled clan. Several cats had been severely burned or otherwise injured. Though if she could recall correctly some of the worst burn victims had been taken to other clans for help. She had been relatively lucky to avoid the fire and most of her battle wounds were not life threatening. She just had to make sure that she avoid tussling as it could reopen some of the deeper cuts. Yet she was determined to show that she was desiring of her new name.

Honeysplash emerged from the nursery limping due to the wounds he had sustained during the near back to back battles. His daughter, kits, and grandkits were all settled back in the nursery and he had taken to opportunity to slip out. However this time, it wasn't to get away. Something was wrong with Pollendrone, but he wasn't sure exactly what it was. Even though she was physcially ok, she wasn't acting like herself. He had been telling himself that it was because of the loss of her mother and that it was normal to grieve, but he couldn't shake the feeling that it went deeper than that.
Spotting the newly named warrior bringing back prey brought a smile to his face as he made his way over. Honeysplash was rather small, most cats that didn't know him mistaking him for a new apprentice. He stared up at her with wide baby blue eyes "You found some fresh kill, how wonderful!!" he chirrped. The clan was beaten, broken, and starved.Having not had anything to eat in almost a moon, only to fight in back to back fights.
Bleedingheart beamed when the older warrior praised her. It had taken her sometime to figure out MoonClan territory and find a good place to hunt. It was just a shame she didn’t know how to fish, the big river that ran through the territory had to have plenty of fish. Perhaps when it got warmer she might try to teach herself how, or maybe she would ask around to see if anyone could teach her. “Thank you, I figured it was about the o key thing I can do.” She shrugged, not knowing how to heal and somewhat nervous around kits.
Her tabby coat was patchy, but it already looked so much better than it first had. She had been lucky that the heat had burned her fur but missed truly injuring the skin underneath. Bleedingheart really just wanted it to grow in before it snowed, that would be too cold to not have fur. Of course by then she hoped to be back in SunClan where winter was not as severe.

He nodded "Its what the clan needs..." the bodies of the dead had been stacked up in the middle of camp, warriors taking turns watching over them in case they came back to life once more. The stench was nearly unbearable, but they had no where else to go and no one wanted to burry them on MoonClan s land "At this point every catch is a blessing, we need all the food we can get to recover" he glanced back at the nursery "the clan has been through a lot"
Honeysplash shook out his coat "I'm about to go out hunting myself, I would ask you to come along but I know that you just returned"
“No I think I would like to go out again.” She was wary of the corpses after last night. Not to mention the stench was just horrid. Hunting was something she could do to help others. If she was just left to sit around camp there was a good chance she would either loose her mind or maybe even start a doomed mutiny. The normally calm cat was quickly becoming an explosive ball of passion and resentment. “There are some nice hunting grounds not far from the river.” She suggested as she strode towards the exit.

"Sounds good, lead the way. I haven't go to go out since the battle, my daughter... she is struggling" he muttered the last part barely audible. Even though he was small, he didn't have to much trouble keeping up though his gait was awkward from his injuries "Hopefully with two of us out hunting there will be less hungry bellies tonight. We have so many cats injured that we have to do what we can"
“Of course, I’m sorry for your loss.” Bleedingheart was not sure what his relationship had been with Pollendrone’s mother, but it must have meant something to him once considering they had kits. She remember what it had felt to loose her mate and her kits. It had nearly killed her. Somehow and she couldn’t recall how, she pulled herself back together. It had been a rough time after that just to function normally. Never mind care for kits or support others.
