Morning rose on the third day of Jetstar's leadership to find the SpringClan leader curled up in the warriors den.
The tan and black she cat had returned late the night before, and with most of the cats having been turned in she'd mindlessly walked into the warriors den. Plopped down in the space where her nest had been-too exhausted to even register that her nest was gone-and proceeded to fall asleep.
Firefly sat watching the new clan leader, glancing around uncomfortably at some of his denmates. What did it mean that their leader was now asleep in the warriors den rather than the leader's den? Had something happened. The tom bounced his paw on the ground nervously. Shooting glances towards the other warriors to see if any of them were awake and had noticed their leaders presence among them.
