Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
FIRE NATION = DayClan, NightClan, Primal Instinct, Renegade Regime & Fire Gang Alliance
======
Bloodystar looked down on his Clan with true concern etched on his face. It had been several days since the Fire Nation had first attacked and then surrounded SunClan, making it impossible for any cat to come or go. They hadn't even been able to bury their dead, which, despite unseasonably cool weather, had begun to rot and make the entire Clan reek of death. To make matters worse, there wasn't a full stomach in the entire Clan. Kits didn't cry because of a torn claw or an argument any more, they cried for food, their dead family, even fresh bedding.
"SunClan," Bloodystar began with a heavy heart. There was only one viable option out of this and he hated it, "Despite our heavy losses, our numbers are still at least tied with the Fire Nation, yet only one entrance and exit to our camp remains. I have decided that our best course of action is to storm the tunnels with as many brave Warriors as possible. We will be able to flush them out and at the very least reclaim the entrance tunnels while we formulate our next steps."
The Clan was eerily quiet. Even the youngest apprentice understood what Bloodystar was suggesting. While Bloodystar's plan should succeed, there would be heavy losses. The first and second wave would likely be wiped out before any significant progress was made...
"Each minute that we sit here waiting is hastening our decline; if we don't do something today, we may not be able to stop them tomorrow. We must act now!" He scanned the crowd, making eye contact with each and every cat that he could, the picture of confidence and delusion, "I have selected the bravest of the Sun God's chosen to lead the attack against our enemies..." After listing the names, he bowed his head, "We thank you for your many moons or loyal service and pray that there will be many more to come. We will launch the attack at Sun High."
======
You can pick whatever cats you want to send down the tunnels (The first wave of cats is a great chance to kill off some characters!). I'll leave some time for discussion and then time skip to the battle
Timesquandor’s heart beat in his ears as he hears his name, and his brother’s with him. Myriadwolf was thrilled to serve his clan, like always, but Timesquandor couldn’t shake away his doubts. This was a risky plan. Maybe he should have stayed with Dappledmint longer... but it was too late for that now, he couldn’t escape any more than his clan could.

Lionpride's heart sank, as his name was called sitting beside his heavily pregnant mate. He leaned into her warmth, the words he wanted to say caught in his throat as he was sentenced to the suicide mission... It was pretty clear that Bloodystar intended for that cats he sent into those tunnels to never return. Of course he had been chosen, if he succeeded then it would help sunclan and if he died Bloodystar had rid himself of one of the last shreds of resistance against him. He buried his nose into her fur, taking in her sweet scent for what he feared would be the last time. He managed to hold back his tears, trying to be strong for her "Pollendrone" he lifted his head to gaze into her eyes "Keep our children safe, if you get the chance run..." his paw caught her chin so that she couldn't look away "Do you remember the promise I made you they day you agreed to become my mate?" he paused giving time for his words to sink in "I meant every word that I said. I saw the way you looked at Scorchedwhisker..." he looked on edge of breaking, as he tried to make the most of there last bit of time together Phantom
Unseenlights let her tail intertwine with Duskslayer's as she listened to the announcement. In the week SunClan had been trapped inside of their camp, it had taken a tole on everyone there. Her own normally luxurious coat hung limply around thin frame, becoming brittle and listless. The scars that riddled her body that were normally hidden by her coat were on full display for all to see. Luckily she couldn't see them herself or she might have felt more self conscious, for now her worried were simply the health and safety of her family. Pressed up against Duskslayed she could feel the outline of his ribs against hers... perhaps she should have fought harder to keep their family safe with the regime... Despite knowing that she had come back for Duskslayer to be with his friend, she couldn't help but feel like a terrible mother allowing their children to follow. Having to stand by and watch them go hungry as they awaited their slaughter, and there was nothing she could do to save them. Faith
Duskslayer was one of the few cats that ate and supplied some kind of food for his family which happened to be clay, this was in order to keep their bellies full. With the additional help of SunClan's camp having a source of water it kept them in good strengths. Plus any bugs they could find was great too. Being a scout in the Regime was essentially survival training after all. He had tried to teach SunClan to do the same, but since SunClan were known as having vain and prideful cats few if any took to his advice.
"Lights" Duskslayer whispered into her ear before pressing his face against hers before whispering in a hushed tone only she could hear, "So long as you and the kids stay by me we'll get out of this. I promise on our hearts. Think about who we're up against."
Where as Bloodystar was usually egotistic about his success he was now concerned, but in replacement Duskslayer who typically was cautious was confident. He couldn't say much to Unseenlight's about how he knew they would be fine, but she would know why. He was affiliated with Primal Instinct and DayClan, he knew they would not harm him and his family if they remained peaceful. This wouldn't be traitorous either, SunClan may be even in number, but because the warriors would come at the army one by one SunClan would lose if that was their only tactic. By the time this war was over it would end in surrender. Which meant his concern didn't lie in his family, but for the clan.
Although maybe it was just bitter nature, but wow. Now Lionpride suddenly would listen to the command of leaving his family, a command told to him by Bloodystar. But when it was him trying to save his life? No, yeah, forget it, Lionpride refused. Lionpride was like a sheep that he opened the gate for, but wouldn't take the freedom. Now he was lined up for the slaughter, yet all too willing to obey. Even if he saved him today, Lionpride would doom himself tomorrow.
No no no no. It had taken only a second for Pollendrones eyes to dart to her mate as his name was called, he couldn't go, it was suicide. She had no time to speak though before Lionprides voice reached her ears, she didnt want to listen, she wanted to drag him away from the crowd and demand he stay here but she knew she couldn't do that. "Lionpride.." she whispered but stopped when he mentioned Scorchedwhisker, she felt a knot form in her chest and she shook her head. "You cant go! Our kits need you, I need you!" She was on the verge of tears as she pleaded with him. She did have feelings for Scorchedwhisker but she also loved Lionpride, she wasnt about to let him give his life away because Bloodystar ordered it.

Distortedshadows was sitting a few paces away from Unseenlights when he heard his name called. At first, he didn't respond, uncertain if Bloodystar's voice was reality or fiction, until he saw cats he very much knew to be real turning towards him with pitying glances. His gaze turned to the nursery. There wasn't much option, was there? Fight for Bloodystar, or die here, either by starvation or execution for refusing to fight. Death or death. Wonderful choice, wasn't it? racer
Mountainsound rose to her paws. "Trying to kill off a blind healer?" The old she-cat questioned, her voice loud enough to be heard by Bloodystar for certain, mere moments after she clearly heard her own name called by the High Priest. The gray tabby spun around to face Duskslayer and Unseenlights, her expression neutral, perhaps a bit grim. "You remember all I taught you, right, Duskslayer?" Though the oldest cat present, every cats in SunClan knew that no matter how much she opposed Bloodystar, she would stay and fight to keep SunClan safe. Even at the cost of her own life. Which was in some ways, her greatest strength, and in others, her greatest weakness. Most cats wouldn't attack her, at least the cats of DayClan wouldn't. Faith
"You know you don't have to fight, that I will defend you if you ask for it and succeed. That if you do leave you're choosing to let yourself be abused and should there be demise, have your story end being defeated by the tyrant who sent you out. That's something you understand, correct?" Duskslayer asked, placing a paw to his temple getting a headache from the amount of cats he once respected, now finding their behavior damn right idiotic. Mountainsound dared to chuckle at that. Then she sighed, face tilting up so that if she could see, her eyes would be meeting his, or near to it. "Sure you can save me, but tell me this, Duskslayer. What happens to everyone else who refuses to fight? Are you going to argue for every single cat who doesn't want to battle, assure them Bloodyrondo won't take his anger out on them, that they won't be punished or executed if they don't fight? If you can guarantee that, then I'm happy to go around telling everyone that you will ensure their safety if they choose not to battle, because as is, I presume that many who don't want to fight see their options as potential death in battle, or guaranteed death by execution." Faith
God I hate this clan, so... So much... He sucked in a breath staring her in the eyes, "Fine. Mountainsound. Fine. You know what you are? You're an icon, a revolutionary she-cat of her times. Yes, you saved cats by staying, you tended to them, but when everyone was largely healed I think you should have left. You see yourself as Mountainsound, but the world see's you as this wise borderline legendary medicine cat who through a lot of complications has always done her job. You're beloved, admired, but I think by staying you're proving to everyone who's looked up to you, everyone currently being abused that it's a path of righteousness to stay, to take the abuse in the name of their job." He smiled, "Because it's honorable." His smile broke, "I think that's a really dangerous message to be pretty friggin' honest. No wonder everyone's so obedient, they all look up to people like you, like Lionpride who let them down. You might not want to be a symbol of hope, or think that you are one, but you are. I just wish there was one she-cat in this clan with enough dignity to not be beaten down by him, but I guess it wasn't you. I don't want to save you Mountainsound, I want you to want to be saved. Do you want to be saved, what do you want?"

"My only goal in life is to save as many lives as possible. Staying despite being a prisoner undoubtedly saved more than leaving. Teaching you healing means that I've guaranteed that no matter what, Bravepaw, Jetfire, and this clan will have someone with sense to keep alive. Which leaves me with a few options. I go out and fight, as Bloodyrondo ordered, and probably die. You're right, that's the stupidest course of action. Two, I stay, and do what? I may be the most experience healer, but between you and Bloody, you have pretty much any knowledge you need, even if you don't have the best supplies. Three, I convince everyone I can not to go. Which is not a bad course of action, no one who doesn't want to fight should be going into this battle, and anyone who has young kits or a pregnant mate should not be stupid enough to fight at all. Which then personally brings me back to option one or two, and if I took my own advice, I should stay, because I do still have at least one kit in this clan. Option four, I go out, instead of fighting I try to keep as many of these idiots who want to fight alive. Option five, I surrender. I walk out now, and give myself up, along with any other cat who wishes to join me. There's more than enough cats out there who wouldn't kill me, who know my name enough to listen to me. The majority of DayClan wouldn't touch me if I did so. I tell them not to harm any cat who refuses to fight them, and voluntarily surrenders themselves, and then hope they listen. And then I have to trust that cats either come with me while they have the chance, before Bloodyrondo tries to execute them for treason, or that they're willing to surrender when it comes to a battle if they're not brave enough to leave now. Which is the riskiest, but has potential to save many. Which do you recommend, Duskslayer? You're right, cats look up to me, whether I want them to or not. They trust me, and many believe that as long as I'm still kicking, everything will be alright. So, if you were me, what would you do?" Mountainsound answered him easily, laying out her ideas without hesitation. Sure, Bloodyrondo could kill her now for merely suggesting that she betray SunClan, but honestly, she'd never cared about speaking up against him before, why should she start now? She seemed serious about wanting to know his opinion on the matter. Faith
Bloodystar couldn't pick up the discussion below but, seeing as no one called him out and made a scene, he assumed it meant that they were finally starting to accept him as High Priest. In reality it couldn't be further from the truth, the cats had broken spirits not loyalty, but it made him feel powerful nonetheless. He padded down the cliffside to join the assembled cats below but gave Duskslayer and Mountainsound a wide birth, he did not want to be a part of that conversation.
Her name wasn't called. Even Bloodystar wouldn't endanger a pregnant queen, but this war took a toll on her. Before the war began Azura could feel the kittens growing inside of her. Their kicks woke her in the middle of the night, and she didn't mind, but since the siege began their kicks had grown weaker and sparser everyday. She could barely feel them anymore. She hadn't told anyone this, but her tired eyes betrayed her. Her fire had been tamed and dampened. She stared down at her paws near the edge of the gathered cats. racer
Duskslayer watched her before nodding, he felt sick inside as his mind spun. The problem was the lack of control each scenario had, anything could happen. What was something they had an abundance of that could buy Mountainsound time. They didn't have to survive the wrath, they just needed to survive until this was finished, it wouldn't be much longer. Light flashed over his darkened eyes. If you can't beat them, join them.
"Hold it," He said sternly grabbing Mountainsound closer to him, "I heard what you mumbled under your breath. You know a secret exit out of here. I bet you were looking forward to leaving, making a fool out of priest Bloodystar so he'd literally release the one person who can save us all. You said you'd have to feel around for it, but that you knew. I'm commanding you to stay and walk all around the perimeter sides until you find our escape route," He said already dragging Mountainsound away to the farthest wall away from the entrance. He snarled into her ear, "Six," but wouldn't show any visible sign that he was acting.
How short does it take for someone well meaning to die instantly in SunClan? Seconds. How long does it take for someone SunClan finds deserving of death, of suffering? Days, weeks, moons, it was SunClan's culture to make living a form of torture to their prisoners.

Lionpride gently stroked her cheek with his paw, acting more like he was saying goodnight rather than a final good bye "Pollendrone, your right... You and the kits do need me" he stopped kissing her on her forehead closing his eyes "We have been trying for days to find a way out of here, the only way out is through those tunnels" he looked away staring into the darkness "Pollendrone, if you don't get something to eat soon..." tears had begun to pool at the corners of his eyes "Trapped in here there is nothing that I can do to save you or our kits. If I thought for one moment they would spare you by surrendering, I would swallow my pride and give them whatever they wanted, but they aren't here to take prisoners" he looked over at the dead cats that had been neatly stacked against the stone walls of their camp, strong smelling herbs around them to help some with the stench of decay "I failed to protect Aconite, I won't fail at protecting you. If securing those tunnels is the only way for you to escape, than I will gladly lay down my life to do so" Phantom
Unseenlights hadn't even gotten to say a word in return to her mate, before he and Mountainsound got into an argument about if she should go into the tunnels or not "Gra..." each time she tried to speak she was cut off, before she had finally had enough "There is a SECRET EXIT and you didn't think to tell anyone? This whole week the clan has been starving, and you failed to mention another way OUT?" her tail lashed, irritated as she joined Duskslayer putting emphasis on certain words. She was normally quite soft spoken, so the emphasis seemed quite out of place HoneystormFaith

Well, it seemed her decision was made for her. Ha. She entertained the idea of disobeying for perhaps half a second, but really, her two options now were run, or obey, and the likelihood she simply got murdered before making it out were far higher than actually escaping. Which meant she really had no option at all, and followed him. "Bloodyrondo is already fool enough without my help. No need to credit me with anything of the sort." She quipped back with a scoff. Faith
She felt the tears as they started to roll down her cheeks, she was useless, there was nothing she could do to protect him from this.. she couldn't keep her promise. "I promised to protect you, how am I suposed to do that if you do this?" She pressed her nose into the fur around his neck, it seemed that neither could be protected at the same time, it was one or the other and this time it was her. "You can't die, I'll never forgive you if you dont come back." She was shaking as the words left her, consumed by fear for his life she managed to let herself believe her words despite knowing deep down she would always forgive him no matter what. "You must come back." racer
The cats of SunClan were eerily silent as their deity rose to his peak in the sky. Assembled at the camp's main tunnel was a large patrol of cats, most of whom were adamantly opposed to Bloodystar at one point or another, all with grim expressions on their faces.
Bloodystar was not late, but it seemed like it, given that he was the last cat to arrive. The ginger-furred tom was elaborately decorated in golden, green and purple body paint, in swirling flame patterns, that sort of design normally took a full day to apply so how he managed to do it in the few short hours would forever remain a mystery. He padded to the front of the lead patrol and leveled his celadon gaze at his Warriors that were more or less marked for death.
Bloodystar had thought long and hard about what he would say now, he always outlined his speeches, but today he drew a blank. What more was there to say? So, he cleared his throat and said loud enough for the entire Clan to hear, "SunClan, attack."

Lionpride took in a deep breath, stealing one last look over his shoulder at Pollendrone as he mouthed "I'll be back" before bravely entering into tunnels with the others. He took up the lead, ready to protect his family and clan. His ears perked forward listening as the sounds of the enemies grew louder and louder as the tunnel got more narrow and they had to walk one by one. It was designed this way to keep the intruders out, so that a few could defend against and army. It would be one on one fighting for as long as the cat in the lead could fight. When they fell, another fresh cat behind them ready to take their place and continue on fighting. His heart pounded in his chest, filling with dread knowing what awaited "Remember to stand strong. We may all die here today, but we won't go down without a fight. We need to give our families enough to escape, so we must fight for as long as we can. Remember ever moment we keep them busy here is a moment more you give them to escape" her words were soft, so that only those that had followed him could over here. But they had been noticed, as he dropped into a defensive stance, his large body blocking the cats behind him from view in the narrow tunnel

Unfortunately, or fortunately, the first cat Lionpride came upon was Foxbane. Though injured, she was healing well, and had opted to hang around the tunnels today. Her claws were freshly coated, though with something, ah, a little less lethal than before, she'd spent a few minutes alone with the herbs, doing them, before joining up with the others with little more than a nod. She didn't need another Tinymutiny situation. She heard his voice, though she couldn't make the words out, and her claws flashed out. "You're not seriously supporting Bloodyrondo?" The ex-Priestess asked as Lionpride came into her view, launching herself at the tom. She had to be the first to get to him.

"Of course not Aunty Foxbane" so she would be his first opponent, as he used his massive paws to keep her at bay careful to stay away from her claws. He smiled slightly, at least if he head to go down it was at her paws "But I have a family to protect now" he launched himself forward, giving their line of fighters more of chance to gain ground, getting closer to the exit "and they are down there starving thanks to you" there was little doubt in his mind that she had come up with the strategy that had left their clan crippled. But in moving forward he had unintentionally entered into a wider part of the tunnel, leaving room for others to get past the dueling cats if they were quick enough, but it was the only way he could avoid being poisoned. Everyone had seen what those claws could do "Innocents lives are being lost" he slashed and snarled doing his best to keep her at bay
