Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Forsworn hopes that perhaps the opposing forces might see him and recognize him as Foxbane’s son. Perhaps his mother’s influence may do something positive for him. He did not want to die but there was very little choice for him. He was somewhere in the middle of the line of cats. While this tunnel was made to be easily defended, part of him feared that the dead would pile up trapping those inside. Part of him wanted to foolishly ask if they could move on farther where it widened slightly. This whole thing was foolish, if he perhaps had more sense or insanity he would have deserted the clan before this. Or if Forsworn had more of his mother in him he would have challenged Bloodystar himself. Instead he was a lamb led to slaughter.
Duskslayer nodded off for a moment his head hitting against the sandstone briefly before retracting back, this time there was a hollow sound that woke him up immediately. His paw flew up to the wall feeling around it, "There is something hollow around here. Help me tap around," Duskslayer said, the puzzle finally coming together. Mountainsound and Unseenlight's didn't have sight, which meant their senses were used to stretching in other areas, ones more trained to detect the feel of the earth or more accurately the absence of sandstone. racerHoneystorm

It was harder to strike a hit than she'd hoped. Mostly due to her own injured state, and Foxbane stepped back as he pressed, gaining ground, but also giving enough space for other invaders to fight back against the patrol marked for death. "Did you know the Regime freed the prisoners? The first day we attacked camp." Vixenkismet commented casually, forcing herself to stay calm. She couldn't afford to lose it here, to let herself get beat and someone else take him on. "Skipstep is free. Littlestar is missing." Her voice was soft at that last one, though certainly loud enough for her to hear as she lunged, striking at his chest. racer
Mountainsound nodded slightly, ears pricking at the sound as she turned towards Duskslayer and began feeling around the area, rapping it with her claws and listening to the sounds as she moved. Faith

Good.... His father and sisters were free. It caused him to hesitate, as he felt her claws slice into his chest. A warm numbing spreading from the wound, a feeling he was no stranger to, his legs giving out causing him to fall forward. Him limbs no longer responding to his commands, his long fur becoming soaked in his own blood. His chest tighting, it was funny... even now she was trying to protect him. Before his tongue stopped responding he managed to get out two last words "save Pollendrone" Honeystorm
"Out of the way," Louella snarled, shouldering her way past the wounded Foxbane, she wasn't treating the former High Priestess any different than any other cat in the forest which may or may not be a bad idea. She was a League cat but had spent most of her youth living in the Regime, so navigating tunnels was special skill of hers, "Is this really the best SunClan could do? Wow."

Her heart sank into her chest. Sunnysmiles name had been called. It made some sense. She was obviously not pregnant, her relationship with Nightfury had not gone the way the clan hoped. Plus, she was one of the more vocal members of the resistance. Sunny was exhausted, her once full pelt now drab as she looked to the clan. Everyone had someone they were leaving. Seeing the tears they shed broke her heart. But then she looked around at her little section by herself. She let out a sigh and then stood up.
Time seemed to pass like an illusion. Too fast but too slow at the same time. Sunnysmiles barely even flinched when Lionpride went down the tunnel first. She was about to follow him when she thought she felt something on her shoulder.
~~~
There were enough Sunclan refugees where they knew where that "secret exit" was. Not that it was much of one, but whatever. Now Primal Instinct surrounded the exit and lay in wait. Funk sat over in the back, pulling something out of his claws. "Okay, so mild change of orders. Cause if Sen comes back and sees a bunch of dead kits and queens, she'll have all our heads. So just pacify the kits and queens. Everyone else is fair game."
Unseenlight listened carefully, her paws lifting up to the sandstone wall tapping and listening "Here" she gasped, almost not believing it herself. The waterfall nearly drowned out the sound, but her sensitive hearing was able to pick up the change in sound even though it was subtle "Its hollow behind here" her paws pushed hard against the stone even though it didn't budge under her meger strength "We just need a way to get through this layer" she looked ridiculous, and to a normal cat she probably looked insane. The sandstone smooth to the touch with no indication that there was anything there "Duskslayer... you have to trust me, this is a way out" Faith
Romancefable curled his tail around his mate and even though he was trying hard to hide it, it was easy to tell just how frightened he was. His leg was bandaged tightly, but the smell of infection was clear. With limited herbs and healing supplies, most of them had gone to those injured the worst. His leg was difficult to bend, and hot to the touch from where his mate had bitten him in an effort to make him let her fight. He didn't regret it. Azura was still alive, though for how long it was hard to tell "I'm not leaving your side Azura"stardance
Forsworn stepped past Lionpride, nearly coming face to face with his own mother. “I can’t” he just stood there staring at her. Most of it was he couldn’t attack his own mother regardless of how much or little she actually cares for him; the poison on her claws prevented him from moving any closer. Skirting around Foxbane he looked down the tunnel to see who else had followed her. Whoever else he would fight, just not his family. Though considering the size it could very easily have made him a pacifist. Honeystorm
Layne stood inside the camp, guarding the entrance just in case the worst happened. Her gaze kept flickering over to the nursery. There were so many kits and pregnant queens. It gnawed at her insides, though that could have just been the hunger. Her wounds had scabbed over but it probably wouldn’t take a rough fight to open them back up.
Duskslayer looked to Unseenlight's his eyes brimming with startled excitement. He practically leapt up the same moment his mate said the news, "You did it!" His voice had more thrill than ever before. He grinned kissing the side of her muzzle at least six times, "You're brilliant," He purred as he looked back to the wall with a loose grin. He could see the ghostly white outline of a cat, but instead of sitting down at the entrance it walked away.
"you have to trust me, this is a way out"
He looked back, the outlined figure gone, "Yeah, no, of course I-" His mind was whirling. Bloodystar had said the same thing to him when they were younger, even when what he knew was urging him not to he trusted Bloodystar instead. When he did it led them straight into a two-leg trap. "I believe you I just." Why? What was dangerous on the other side? He pressed his ear against it, "Lights I have... I can only describe it as a bad feeling so I want you and Mountainsound to step back a little bit, alright?"
Duskslayer took a breath before slamming against the sandstone wall. Each crack drove his mind insane, what was going to be behind it? The infrastructure looked stable so not a cave in so what was it? Spiders?
(I can't do a thought out invasion reply yet to do an attack, but I will when I get time!)
racer Azura just leaned into him and closed her eyes. Part of her mind told her to get out and fight, but with her kittens already tittering on the edge, even she acknowledged that it was too risky to fight. His tail only reminded her what she needed to tell him. His bandaged leg only reminded her of that impulsive bite. He was wrong to lock her up like that, but she recognized that the bite was over the top. It was another debt to be payed. Her voice was barely above a whisper. "The kits... they aren't kicking much anymore."
strawberrycupid Nightfury's name was not called. Unbeknownst to Sunnysmiles, he pledged his loyalty to the High Priest. One way or another he would play his part in the war, with or without her. Still, their complex relationship and situation generated some feelings for the she-cat. Nightfury didn't know if it was love or not, but there was something. He rested a paw on her shoulder. "Be careful."
Lionpride went down easy, and she leaned down, her voice a whisper in his ear as she smeared the blood on his chest up to his neck, her claws dragging lightly across his throat, mimicking a deathly blow. "Not that you have much choice, but stay down until I or someone elsecan get you out safely." She warned, knowing the paralytic would keep him most of the way there. Unfortunately, that did take up the most effective use of the claws on one paw. Of course, glancing around to other cats showing up, it was pretty obvious that, like Lionpride, they weren't the usual Bloodyrondo supporters. At least, those she'd have assumed would be. Next was Forsworn. Of course. Two of his siblings, Slaughterfish and Steepfall, were in SwiftClan now, the former leaving right before Bloody first took power, when he'd started the fight with SwiftClan. She watched him sidestep, trying to get out of range. "If you're lucky then, you'll get someone who won't kill you." Vixenkismet answered her son. Unlike Lionpride, there wasn't much love there, the fox-furred feline was.... selective, to say the least about which of her kits she actually cared for. Forsworn really wasn't one of them. But she allowed him to pass without taking a swipe, for better or worse. racer @atomheart
Mountainsound's expression turned grim. Dusky's feeling, though unusual, for what should be an exciting find, she couldn't say she was surprised. It all seemed a bit too easy, didn't it. She took a step back with a nod.
"There's got to be a better way to get in there than just hitting it over and over again," Soaringpaw said as she watched Duskslayer hit the sandstone over and over again. Cracks were forming but it seemed counter-intuitive to the whole point of having a secret exit; if it was so hard to access, then what was the point?
Perfectpaw sat near the entrance lashing his tail in annoyance. By now he could hear the echoes of fighting, but Bloodystar had expressly forbid him from entering. He wasn't a kit now, he was an apprentice, and a powerful one at that, he knew he would be able to put more than a few cats in their place. It was a waste to keep him up here when he was so well suited for fighting. If only he knew what was really happening down there. He looked to Bloodystar almost like he was the Sun God and was one of the few cats in the Clan who failed to realize that the cats sent down the tunnel were on a suicide mission.
It was unsurprising that Bloodystar didn't ask him, still an apprentice, to go out to be slaughtered. But Tenebrouspaw stuck close to Ferventpaw, pretending as if he was standing guard over the High Priest's 'adopted' daughter.
This whole waiting game was starting to take it's toll on Tenebrouspaw, and he wondered if perhaps he should've just stuck in NightClan with his mother. He'd wanted to be closer to the action but he was beginning to think this had been a poor play on his part.
"Any response to your prayers?" He asked her softly. racer
Flamingstar heard the screeches and cries coming from inside the tunnels. While she would rather not be getting her claws stained with crimson blood, she figured if she didn't act now, Sunclan might have a leverage and be able to escape. She made her way into the tunnels with a sense of urgency. She found herself side by side with Foxbane as the ex-priestess fought off the storming Sunclan cats. At first, it seemed like no one had really noticed Flamingstar had appeared so the Nightclan leader had the advantage of catching Foxbane in action. She couldn't help her whiskers twitching in amusement. "Wow, Foxbane. Is that all you got? All you do is talk! At this rate, Sunclan is sure to get passed you! I'll show you how it's done." She launched at the cat nearest to her, tearing her claws into their flesh and immediately pinning them into the dusty tunnel floor.
(Cats can come in through the back entrance now too!)
Duskslayer took a long break when he realized the sandstone was about to crumble. Whatever was behind it he wanted to have his breath for when the wall did fall the debris came down softer than he'd imagine leaving a plume of dust. His ears went back, nothing, no wait. He stared more intently, there was something... Instantly a mass of black fur mauled into him teeth snapping into his throat. Before even processing his claws flashed across the massive ton of muscles eyes quick and deep.
Immediately the black figure rolled off of Duskslayer in a high pitch wail, "AW HECK YEAH! NOW WE'RE TALKING!" The laughter made Duskslayer's ears flattened. Lucistic lied on the ground laughing with pleasure, "Please strike me again Dusky. I want to feel your wrath." Lucistic opened his green eyes, bloody around the skin before noticing Mountainsound and Unseenlight's, "Oh hello there, would either of you be willing to beat me to the ground if I should, I don't know, sock you in the face, step on your tail. Whatever gets you in the mood to pound a guys face in really."
Duskslayer with more effort in his life attempted to rebuild the wall, "Go back where you came from demon."
"Your husband is hilarious, I don't know if we've met, I'm Luc. Faithful companion of the family, local demon, oh my gooosh, is that Allaria, helloo, I'm your uncle," Lucistic purred stepping closer to Mountainsound and Unseenlight's. He must have been harmless because Duskslayer didn't come to either she-cats aid, instead hopelessly attempting rebuild the wall that was never going to happen. racerJadieHoneystorm
"Hey, Perfectpaw and Ferventpaw, we should form a team and go after these invaders together," Angelicpaw said in a hushed tone as the invaders began to crowd into camp, "It's our best shot. Plus we are basically siblings since we were all raised by Bloodystar. Oh and I guess you too Tenebrouspaw, cause why not."
Faithpaw grunted as she fell back beneath the leaders grip, "I'm an apprentice!" She said in a quick defense. Sure she had a growth spurt, but she wasn't ready for this. She squirmed under the she-cats grip before managing to get her paw out from under her, she didn't strike, but was ready to if Flamingstar tried to do anything to her. She had went into the tunnels to try and go after the cats told to go on this suicide mission. Her dad may have crowned them all a lost cause, but she definitely didn't. Maybe she was the only one who cared about them and if so that was all the more reason she needed to be there for them.
Creampuff strode in behind her mom, her tail high as she passed by Vixenkismet. She nuzzled into her mothers cheek, "Good luck mom," She purred before flashing her one last grin as she dived into battle. Her ears perked up at the sight of Perfectpaw, no that wasn't a fair fight. Her gaze scoured the area before landing on Nightfury. He was beefy, but she was well trained. "Admit defeat and submit yourself to the floor or they'll be trouble!" Creampuff commanded him in the most cutest voice imaginable. She was average in size, golden furred with a white chest and muzzle. Her fur was unusually curly and her smile was kinder than anyone could imagine it would be in battle.
Tigerlily tore through the tunnels, her blue gaze was like a fiery sapphire aura lighting up the dark space surrounding her. Like a bat in a cave she heard Forsworn and Vixenkismet exchanging words, they sounded softer, someone who was favored. Tackling into Forsworn with unmistakable accuracy she nailed her claws into his limbs, one paw moving to the side of Forsworn's face as she pressed it to the side of the ground, "Do you surrender yourself?" She asked, her voice slow like a morning mist drifting along gentle breezes. Despite her fierce positioning she sounded absolutely enchanting, exotic even with her French accent.
Gingersnap's tail poked Sunnysmile's shoulder, but if she turned in the direction there was no one there. Instead she was on the other side of her, "BOO!" She screamed too loud into the other she-cats ears. The ex janus was giggling staring at Sunnysmile's, "Teheh, hey I don't want to be rude, but I hate fighting in narrow spaces like this, could we go back to camp and fight or maybe outside, it's just so crowded in here," The flame point Siamese pouted.
Unseenlights Unseenlights stepped back, as the tunnel entrance crumbled down in a plume of smoke. She coughed, as she felt the two cats fall to ground near her feet. He fur bristled outwards at the strange scent, but Duskslayer didn't seem bothered so it soon smoothed "Nice to meet you, but as you can see we have our paws full at the moment" One ear perked towards the strange cat, the other towards the entrance where the sounds of fighting had reached her ears. She pressed herself against her mate "The battles begun" she murmured in his ear, knowing he probably couldn't hear it from here "I can't hear Faithpaw..." she whispered, heart sinking. Had she really went into the tunnels? Faith
Ferventpaw The thick furred she-cat nodded "Agreed, those warriors won't know what hit them" she wasn't much of a fighter on her own, but her friends needed her. Even if she couldn't defeat the enemies on her own perhaps the support she could offer would make a difference. When the other apprentice mentioned her prayers, her ears fell back "Only time will tell if the Sun God heard them..." JetclawFaithJadie
Lionpride He couldn't move, his eyes staring blankly ahead as Foxbane continued on leaving him laying in the tunnel on his own. More and more cats were streaming past him, and there was little he could do to stop them. His mind was wide awake, but his body refused to move. It wasn't the first time she had used this paralytic on him, but it was the first time she had left him helpless and alone.
Romancefable Romancefable felt his heart sink, as he nuzzled up against his mates cheek "They can probably feel your stress" he reasoned, trying to convince himself to believe that everything was ok "You need to rest, if the chance presents itself I am getting you out of here" he licked the top of her forehead, but things were looking more hopeless by the moments as the sounds of fighting reached his ears stardance
Scarletblush It was time. With everyone tied up in with everything going on, Scarletblush made her way towards the High Priest's den. She entered in, gently nosing the queen within but she didn't stir at first. When her eyes did begin to fluttering open, Jetfire's eyes were red and bloodshot. She seemed slow and sluggish, almost as if she had been... Surely she was mistaken. Even Bloodystar wouldn't be stupid enough to drug his mate before a battle... right? She nosed the kits who were sleeping at her side as they rolled back over and continued to sleep. Whatever he had given Jetfire had passed to her kits through her milk "Jetfire" she whispered again, but the she-cats eyelids had already closed again CleaverGidgetGal
Alabastor The thin furred tom had been assisting in healing the worst of the injuries from the pervious battle, only poking his head out of the den as the first of the cats from the fire nation began to break into SunClan's camp. Though he didn't patricularly care for SunClan, the cats now in the treatment den were his patients and he wasn't about to let them get hurt further... Then his eyes landed on Creampuff, his heart beating faster as the sight of her pelt in the fray. He couldn't tear his gaze away, wanting to go to her side and whisk her out of the battle Faith
Applecrumble Applecrumble had been itching for a fight, as soon as the cats began to emerge from the tunnels she leapt [open to injuries]
Carrotpaw The small orange tom watched as cats began streaming into camp from two directions, as he crouched down next to Divinehope staying close to his friend ready to fight to defend her "stay close" he warned
SunClan was attacked by the Fire Nation, who barricaded the single known entry tunnel SunClan Camp. A week or so has passed since then and the Clan is beginning to starve. In this thread, Bloodystar made an announcement to send a patrol of Warriors/Initiates - mostly cats who had opposed him in the past or currently are (you can pick any of your cats to send) - down the entrance tunnel to clear it of invading cats. It is clearly a suicide mission.
When the battle starts, Mountainsoud reveals that she knows of a secret exit in SunClan camp, so Duskslayer and Unseenlights go to search for it. They find it... but Foxbane was one step ahead of them, having already revealed its location to the Fire Nation. It is fully barricaded, too, and, now that Duskslayer has broken down the covering, enemy cats are now able to get to SunClan camp through it.
So, your cat can be in one of three places: SunClan entry tunnel (suicide mission), SunClan camp or SunClan secret tunnel (cats trying to escape / enemy cats entering)
Allaria had shrieked when Lucistic appeared from the shadows, she was actually very embarrassed by it, but to be fair it was the definition of a jump scare. At least her vocalization blended into the general ambiance of battle. She'd heard of Lucistic and knew that he was strong but kind of an idiot, so she actually wasn't too afraid of him now that the initial scare was done and over with, "OKAY, Uncle Luc, tell me exactly what your goal of this invasion is so I can decide the reason I'm about to smack you." She lifted up her white-furred paw menacingly. Faith
"Bloodystar said---" Perfectpaw began to argue with Angelicpaw's idea, he really did think it was a good one but his loyalty to his adopted father was very strong, he wouldn't break it. But he was interrupted by Allaria's shout and he looked over to see enemy cats begin to stream into camp from... where, "How... How did they get in!?" His heart was beginning to race, right now the main tunnel looked like their only way out of this, and they had to protect the kits and queens somehow. Gulping, he made up his mind, "Okay." Faith
SUNCLAN - MAIN TUNNEL time & myriad can both be killed!
Timesquandor shook his head as he backed away from his opponent, blood scattering from the tip of his torn ear. He was back to back with his brother, a snarl on his lips. "This isn't going well," he muttered to Myriadwolf. "Think we can sneak back into camp?" The colorful tom snorted in response.
FIRE NATION? - SECRET TUNNEL
Ducking through the tunnel, the tom emerged from the other side and slipped back Duskslayer and his family. Black and white fur sleek, gaze hard and determined, Ghostcrown's stern face didn't betray a hint of his fear as he entered his old camp. He cared very little about the fighting going on around him, as long as it didn't include him; he had a mission. "Come on, Firetooth," he meowed softly, looking up at the distant High Priest's den, "we've got a long way to go."
"Hey Firetooth, Ghostcrown." Discordantmelody approached the two toms although it wasn't like her, if this were a fight she'd throw the first punch and ask questions later. She actually looked kind of bored, "If you are trying to save Jetfire, you are going to need more than two cats." CleaverGidgetGal
Bloodystar's attention had been fully focused on the entryway tunnel; when he heard commotion and glanced back to see what was going on - where they really fighting over mouse bones again? - he was totally blindsided by what he saw. Cats he didn't recognize, some that he did, all enemies, all right back at the heart of SunClan all over again. He felt as if his soul left his body there for just a moment. How... how did they get in!?
Bloodystar stumbled initially then reoriented himself and bolted toward the secret tunnel, claws unsheathed, and howled, "DEFEND THE CAMP! DON'T LET ANY MORE IN!" He lashed out at the first enemy Warrior to cross his path.
