Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(If you missed sign ups you can still enter the rp with a kit or apprentice!)
The stolen kits and apprentices woke up in a forest that served more like a cage. The trees were so thick even a kit would have trouble squeezing by. The woods were dark with a feeling that it was more of a maze than a normal space. Leaves hung above them in a canopy like fashion, blocking out the sun into rays of light so thin they were the size of claw tips.
Emerging from the dark were the heinous looking creatures who stole the kits and apprentices from their clans.
One had the absence of a face with no ears, his eyes gone and crusted over with blood. He went by Deadeyes.
Another was small, her face like splintered ice with stiff hair like texture resembling frost. Her name was Singingdaisy.
The other had a scarred up face, his scars blazing like fire. His name was Bloodshot.
One looked half way normal, but his slimy green eyes were ugly as a toads backside. He was called Devouringfear.
Two of the monsters were missing, Creepingivy and Pumpkincarver. No one knew how they came about except that they seemed intent on keeping them trapped in this dark maze of a forest.
Each kit and apprentice sat and in the clearing, there appeared no way out of the clearing, only that they were forced to sit and watch the monsters at the front of the glen as though they were waiting for something.
Loelia-kun got to her paws slowly, she was a ragged looking thing with wiry tough black fur with patches of hair spread thinner in other areas of her body. From the way her legs draped behind her it was clear she was paralyzed from the waist down.
Faithpaw rubbed the side of her head, she had a calico fur pattern and blue eyes, seemingly taking in her new surroundings. She had been here for twenty minutes watching everyone wake up, but even with all that time she still couldn't take in her situation. Were those monsters really monsters or were they normal cats? Why did they want them here and what were they going to do to them? She kept waiting for some telltale sign, but there wasn't any. Maybe the monsters were just waiting for them all to wake up.
"WHERE AM I!?" Angelicpaw yelled with more anger than fear before cooling herself down. Like Faithpaw she also wore body paint as she was a SunClan apprentice, although given the orange color it hardly stood out on her golden and red tabby fur.
Devouringfear was chewing on something that was stuck between his claws, moss or blood or some other kid of waste, he was having the hardest time remembering to sheath them when he walked so they were always getting random junk stuck on them. Eventually he managed to pull out what was stuck there - turns out it was a cocklebur - which he promptly threw at Angelicpaw, "Be quiet, will you? Screaming just makes us... hungry." He made direct contact with golden-furred tabby and licked his lips, intending the scare her, not actually because he had any plans to eat her. Well. Not her flesh, anyways.
"She's just having a night terror, I don't even think she's awake, sir." Allaria, or Soaringpaw, depending on how good of a friend you were with her, whacked Angelicpaw on the back of her head. The intent being to knock her out but Allaria's blow was off, she was nervous, she knew it didn't work. She brought her muzzle to the she-cat's ear and quietly hissed, "Panicking isn't gonna get us out of here. I wish they're drug Nightmarepaw here instead of you, at least she has some sense." For all the flare she was scared too, though, and the paw she'd used to his Angelicpaw was clearly shaking.
Planepaw was the first tom to wake up but his tortoiseshell pelt and fluffy fur made him blend in with the she-cats. He was among the most calm of the bunch and padded over to Loelia-kun, a look of concern on his face, she seemed to be in the worst shape of them all, "Did they... did they do that to you?"
No eyes and no ears made navigating the world difficult by themselves, but Deadeyes also lacked a tail. For the hulking monster that he was, he needed it, but it was simply gone like his eyes and his ears. He could still hear, but he had much less precision on the sound's origin than any other cat there. So, the only left was smell. And so Deadeyes furiously sniffed the air as he staggered around the upper level. Soon enough the tom walked right into Devouringfear, and a soul-shatter snarl filled the dark forest. Oh yeah. He didn't really understand speaking either. All he knew were growls, snarls, howls, and hisses. Anything from the back of the throat. He fell right onto his face as he tripped over Devouringfear and he howled. He scrambled to his paws and gingerly walked back to Devouringfear. He gave him a quick nuzzle to apologize before his lost his balance again and promptly fell right on top of the tom again.
Speedpaw groaned as he awoke near Loelia-kun and Planepaw. The light brown tabby tom lifted his head slowly, green eyes blinking open. He took in the strange scenery, ear twitching towards Planepaw and he turned towards him. "Did they do wha-" He trailed off when he saw Loelia-kun.
oh. He hesitated to say more, pushing himself up into a sitting position and glancing from Loelia-kun and Planepaw to the others, and the scary looking cats sitting around them, watching them. He swallowed thickly.
Viridianpaw curled his lip as he tucked his head under his foreleg, he was awake but was pretending to remain asleep a little longer. He didn't know where they were and he didn't want to give away that he was alert and prepared if he could glean some intel from these strange entities.
"No---" Devouringfear cautioned but he was too late, his monstrous ally had already lost his footing and fallen on top of him. The gray-furred tom winced as the other's ear-splitting howls filled the air. Ugh. This was not dress rehearsal, this was the real deal. But Devouringfear couldn't be upset at the other abomination and began to stroke his back in return for the nuzzling, "Deadeyes, you need to be scary, not cute! Remember what our little masters told us?" The answer was probably not, but Devouringfear liked to talk, even if it was in circles, "How about we go terrorize the---" And then he fell on top of him again and he sighed. Deadeyes was ten times more work than herding all these kittens. stardance
Planepaw noticed how Speedpaw averted his eyes and misjudged it as a reaction to his strange eye. Four unusual colors mixed into one orb, his father had said it was alike a kaleidoscope, a contained rainbow.
He hated it.
Forcing his eye closed, leaving the other one oddly squinty, he cleared his throat and directed his attention to Speedpaw, "Are you okay?" Jetclaw
Speedpaw turned back towards Planepaw, and nodded. "I'm okay... but why's your eye all squinty, is your other eye okay?" He asked, lifting a paw to cover the eye that Planepaw had closed. He'd been paying more attention to Loelia-kun and hadn't noticed Planepaw's strange eye at all. "I can't do much healing I'm afraid, but mother says it's important to help cats in need."

Bloodshot's laugh was dark, menacing as a rasp began to creep out at the end. Definitely creepy enough to make the kits and apprentices forget that Deadeyes just tripped over Devouringfear twice. Eyes were drawn to him and he liked that. Massive, he was able to touch Deadeyes head as a warning before picking him up by the scruff and placing him next to Devouringfear. "There. Now sit still you two. You don't wanna cause more trouble now." There was an edge of humor to that warning as he sat down on the other side, wrapping his tail around his paws.
"BOO!" Yelled Ripsby-kun, the calico jumping out from behind a tree with an odd mask on. It was really just a leaf with eye holes cut out of it. How she found it was anyone's guess, but the ridiculousness of it didn't stop Surfpaw's hair from jumping at end. He then let out a huff, watching the other apprentices with mild interest.
Duskpaw was huddled in the corner, saying his usual prayers before perking himself up and dragging himself to the group by his front paws.
Gravekit woke up a little later than the rest, blinking his eyes open to find himself in unfamiliar territory, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. "...What the heck...?" he murmured, rising to his paws and clamping his mouth shut as he caught sight of the monsters in their midst. "Nope!" he yelped, putting his paws over his eyes. "Nope, nope, no way. I'm going back to sleep. Don't wake me up."
[ sorry i phoned this one in just for the sake of replying xD my next one will be better i promise owo ]
Deadeyes grunted again, and was about to let out another earsplitting screech as he felt Bloodshot's gentle touch on his shoulder. He let himself relax as Bloodshot picked him up and placed him down next to Devouringfear. He hated it. He just didn't have a tail. He could balance. Yet. He was making small improvements. He felt himself get a little woozy again so he just lay down. Now what? Devoruingfear needed him to be scary. He could do that. He swept the area around himself with a paw and found a solid rock. Perfect. He pulled the rock to his mouth and crumbled it in one bite. He gave it a few chews before he spat the remnants into the pit below him.
Angelicpaw let out an immediate hiss at the object thrown her way, but when she was clubbed by Soaringpaw she immediately teared up. "That really hurt me Soaringpaw," She said, trying not to make her voice wobble, that really did hurt like a badger, dang. She wiped at her eyes, hating how easily she could tear up, but at least inside she felt tough despite her bodies decision to make her blubbering cry baby because she couldn't take a hit. Looking at Soaringpaw it was the opposite, a cool, calm exterior, but inside she was scared, she could tell by the trembling paw. Maybe at the beginning when they were stupid kits she would have sourly dismissed Soaringpaw as some reject, but they were older now. Soaringpaw was her clanmate, she would always look out for her now. "Well excuse me for having a normal reaction," She said sharply, but added, "I'm fine though, I just got startled."
"Wha-what?" Loelia-kun asked, still feeling a little dazed in the ears before realizing what the other cat was saying, "Oh." Inside she was grinning, this would be so much fun to say yes, they paralyzed her legs to freak the apprentice off. Primal Instinct rubbed off on her after all. "No, I was born this way," She replied sheepishly. Okay so the league only rubbed off on her so much.
Faithpaw looked to the side of her, Allaria looked okay, but looking around she could see many scared apprentices. She placed a comforting paw over Gravekit before noticing Duskpaw huddled up in a corner. Her temper flared, these cats were a bunch of bullies, "HEY! Where do you get off making everyone all scared of you. You're just being a bunch of bullies!" The calico apprentice shouted at them.
The slick elegant voice of Creepingivy echoed from behind as a tree branch slowly lowered her to their level.
"Ah, so the funs getting started, great job abominations," Rottenpaw said as he moved with ease across what he felt was a stage, staring down at his subjects, "WELCOME HOME!" He shouted in spectacular flare, a grin cutting through the corners of his lips, "You've been selected to join us in a new clan, one without any adults allowed, where we'll never grow up, and we can just stay here and work beside each other in peace. In other words this is a new clan for kids only," he explained with a toothy smile. To him there couldn't be a better offer. He couldn't ever imagine anyone loving their parents or enjoying their clan, or not having a traumatizing past.
Faith ALLARIA Allaria really did feel bad when Angelicpaw started to tear up. In hindsight it was a kind of mean thing to do, they were both scared, it was just the apprentice's reflex. She was always that rough with her littermates... although she had to admit trying to do a K.O. right now wasn't just cruel but stupid. How in the world would Angelicpaw be able to escape if they had the chance? Allaria wouldn't have been able to just leave her there. They'd both be screwed.
"At least you're acting normal now..." She knew she needed to apologize, but it would have to wait until later, she never did those kind of things until after some time had passed.
DEAVOURINGFEAR "Always," Devouringfear replied to Creepingivy, although truthfully it wasn't very much work for him. Any cat below that thought of him as some creepy evil-doer - which should be all of them - would see him exactly as such. Ruffled fur, tattered ears, an off-odor, all those things that are associated with "bad," that's what he would be. It was differ from cat to cat of course but they'd all get the same vibe... probably. He wouldn't know. When he looked at his own reflection, all he saw was another cat, "They have been---"
But Rottenpaw cut him off and he swiftly fell silent. He was totally obedient to the creators even though his did not seem to be present.

Bloodshot
"Of course." The massive tom said with a purr. Grateful that Creepingivy and his creators were there. It meant less work. Bloodshot licked the back of his paw and rubbed it along his face. The think skin there immediately broke apart, blood pooling on his face again.
Ripsby
"Why does this sound familiar?" Ripsby asked herself, but loud enough to where everyone could hear. "I swear this tiny guy with a sunny face told us he tried to do this at one point..."
"Yeah," Angelicpaw said softly realizing that she couldn't talk without feeling a sob in her throat. Get over yourself she practically hissed in her own mind. She couldn't wait to grow up and get out of this highly charged emotional state. However she perked up upon hearing Rottenpaw then turned to Ripsby, "I thought I heard a similar story too."
"HEY! Doesn't matter, it's happening!" Rottenpaw practically whined. Normally he wasn't so childish, but he thought at least outside of WinterClan he would have people's attentions, so far that didn't seem like the case though. That was alright, it as a bit of a let down, but understandable that respect had to be earned. Clearing his throat he continued, "Anyways, first things first and that requires all subjects of our new utopia to wear these carved out pumpkins."
Creepingivy nodded to Rottenpaw as grass began to knot around the apprentices paws in order to hold them down while the vines brought out carved pumpkins to squeeze around the cats necks.
Angelicpaw stared up moments too late as carved pumpkin was pressed down over her head. The smell of pumpkin was intoxicating, far too overwhelming and the eye holes while wide, didn't provide enough of a view for her to see her surroundings well. Not to mention she wouldn't be able to eat with this caught around her head. On top of the heavy nature of the pumpkin it was outright uncomfortable. "How long do we have to wear this?" Angelicpaw asked trying to lift up her paws, but the grass held her in place. Normally she could bite at the grass, but the pumpkin on her head took away that ability.
"You'll have to wait and see," Rottenpaw said, "But you can all walk around freely once you have a pumpkin," He said nodding to Creepingivy. He turned to look at Bloodshot and Devouringfear, it was hard to not look at them and feel afraid. Not because of what they were, but because they were cats who actually didn't despise them, it was a nice change. "Thanks for the help so far everyone."
