Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She needed to get away. WinterClan did its best to mark her life hell, so she left at sunrise for a little excursion. Really, she shouldn't have left. It was her first time out on her own outside the territory, and even now the Clan could be mobilizing patrols to search for her, but whatever. It's not like she was old enough to spread her demon blood anyway. She was scarce enough around camp that she could just say she was in the northern mountains. Problem solved.
There was one thing she already didn't miss: the cold. It was amazing how warm it got as she left the territory, and there was so much to see. As she looked out to the sea in the east, a smell wafted to her nose. It was far from unpleasant. Just beautifully different. Then again, then only thing WinterClan smelled like was pine and blood. This aroma pulled her along as she tracked it to its source, and there it was. A cat coated in the aroma.
So sorry! I hit send at work but apparently that didn’t work. Rip.stardance
Lavenderpaw had snuck out of camp with a stolen supply of catnip from the medicine den. She lived the stuff, could g Kiev without it. Laying it upon the grounds she’d practically bathed in the stuff. Between it and the fading sun light, the day had been pretty good. She’d avoided trainings such a bore anyways. And her me for hadn’t even bothered coming to look for her when she didn’t show up, so that was a plus. Honestly, it wouldn’t have been hard to fire her either. The apprentice always found a warm space to enjoy her catnip in, her sweet addiction. It completely missed her that she was no longer alone in this sunny place.
Soullesspaw stayed silent where she was for a little while longer, just to watch what this she-cat was doing. Having never smelled such a strong scent before, not only it really did intrigue her, but it also made her cautious. She swallowed hard, and pushed forward out of her hiding place and into the clearing. She felt a catch throat when the other she-cat first lay her eyes on her. "Uhhh... hey. I was wondering what you're doing with all that stuff. It just... smells so nice. Could I have some?"
Lavenderpaw didn't perk up or roll over or even jump to her paws at the sound of someone else approaching. No she didn't really care, far to blissed out on her precious catnip. With a quiet hum, she spoke, softly and barley above a whisper. "It's the best thing ever to exist." Catnip to her was, her a drug she'd never tire of! She rolled so she faced the cat, eyes half glazed and barely focusing on the cat before her as she closed them once more. "Wanna join?"
For a moment, she thought Lavenderpaw was dead. When she did move, the other apprentice just seemed out of it. Her voice had a slow, drawn out sound to it. It was as if Lavenderpaw ran in slow motion, and it looked fun. Soullesspaw slowly nodded and appraoched the she-cat. The smell became more overpowering as she neared, and it smelled good. She ate a little bit of the stuff and lay down next to her. "I don't get what you're feeling. I mean, it tasted good. But you seem to like it a lot more."
