Leatherstar cast his gaze down across the forest from his place on the hillside. Stars seemed to settle and rise with the unseen breeze. Ever since landing in StarClan he felt restless. Incomplete. Unsatisfied. Life moved on without him in the forest below and his heart ached for a life he felt he deserved but never got to live. He wanted peace. He wanted the pain he felt constantly to subside. All he loved had moved on without him. It was his time to move on too. But he knew he wouldn't be able to do that without forgetting. There was only one way to forget.
He had requested the council of leaders to join him here when they could spare a moment to hear his request. He only hoped they would arrive with clear and open minds to hear him out and answer his plea.
