For as odd as the other's found Princepaw, she had been a solid shoulder to cry on. An ear that would listen to you unconditionally. And she never minded. But when she sat by herself, she had a whole myriad of questions and emotions that felt unbearable. Maybe it was symbolic for Princepaw to wander and end up in the orchard, collapsing in a pile of sunshine. Taking deep breaths, the smell of apples reminded her of her moms. Though it also tugged at her heart more.
