It had only been a few days since the takeover. Thankfully, Mountainsound had managed to help Sunnysmiles and get her leg somewhat straightened and in a cast. The prognosis was good, but it was a pain for Sunnysmiles to do anything. She was optimistic, but not blind. For as much as she wanted to believe it was for a good cause, she couldn't try and convince herself that it was. With a good part of the clan imprisoned, and her orders to rest, she settled down in one of the nests. Or tried too. Her paws drummed against the floor. She couldn't keep still, she needed someone to talk to.

Lionpride grumbled as he was shoved into the dark den, so that Mountainsound could be brought be to take a look at his wounds. He had made the mistake of pinning one of the guards against the wall and letting his claws dig in, when they told him Mousepaw had disappeared. At least she wasn't dead, well probably. The young she-cat had ran off while out training with her new mentor and hadn't been seen since. Bloodynose, for her refused to acknowledge him as leader, had scent out several patrols in pursuit but the scent had went stale. Lionpride's tail lashed, spinning around to face the guards "touch me again and you'll end up like that other guy" he growled. By the time they had managed to pry him off the warrior, Lionpride had already left him gasping for air and nearly unconscious. The guards slowly backed off, not wanting to start another fight. He had a several deep scratches along his side, and a nasty bite on his shoulder that was causing him to limp, but otherwise he seemed fine "Those no good, rotten..." he had been about to spout off a slew of curses when Sunnysmiles came into view "Oh! Hi" he trotted over, sitting down. A few speckles of blood falling onto the smooth sandstone floors of their prison "Well you make the second of my sisters to be trapped with me. At least I know you are ok now, I was with Brilliantbeacon"

Sunnysmiles hadn't seen many of her siblings since they were herded into the prison. Even with Brilliantbeacon helping her, the two were torn apart the moment Sunny staggered into Mountainsound's... den. It was an area, really. And as much as Sunny wanted to help, she wasn't Janus trained. Didn't know the first thing about herbs and got tired too fast to be of any help. The sudden thud that echoed through the cave made her jump, but she was so quickly hit by vertigo she fell back to the floor. Though the instant they spoke, Sunnysmiles could identify it as her brother Lionpride. On one paw, it was a relief to not be alone. But it also meant that they were stuck here together. "Lionpride, are you okay?" She reached out to touch him as he came closer but caught one of the specks of blood falling off of him. "Oh no, you're hurt." Consciously or not, she set her paw back down. Her amber eyes flicked anxiously between the doorway Mountainsound was just behind to Lionpride. "Is there anything I can do? How's Brilliantbeacon doing?" Her mind was racing with questions, a need to do something.

"I'm fine" he reassured her nosing up against her cheek "and Brilliantbeacon is doing ok as well, she stayed out of the skirmish... The problem is mousepaw... She disappeared while out training and they haven't been able to find her" anxiety laced his voice as he glanced anxiously at the entrance "All I did was ask to go look for her, and one of the guards lashed out at me, but he got wounded a lot worse than I did" he snorted tail lashing "None of the patrols have been able to find her, I just want to know that she is ok"

"You're bleeding though." Sunnysmiles frowned, attempting to pull any loose ends off of her cast to at least stop Lionpride's bleeding. That was the kind of cat she was. It led to her being quiet as he talked about Mousepaw, concern etching its way across her features. Even as he snorted, she managed to get one scrap off and pressed it against one of the wounds. "I'm sure but still. You can't be getting sick on us now." The news only made her more anxious, now thoughts of Mousepaw in trouble danced in her mind. The orange she-cat shook her head, chasing them away, "She'll be okay. She's a tough cookie." If it was Earthpaw, she'd be a bit more confident. But Mousepaw had always had health issues.

Lionpride knew that she was right, but none of his wounds were to deep. He purred nuzzling her cheek gently to get her attention as she pressed some cobwebs into his wounds "Really, I will be alright. You need those so that your leg will heal" he reminded her gently. Sunnysmiles had always been so selfless, and sometimes needed to be reminded to take care of herself to "I'm sure Mountainsound will be around soon enough after hearing what happened, but if you want to help you could help me clean them so that they don't get infected" at least that way she would feel like she was doing something to help out and be useful "I can't reach some of them" he admitted before looking down at the ground "She is tough, but tough isn't always enough... especially with a clan hunting her down to bring her back fro punishment"

Sunnysmiles broke into a small smile as her brother nuzzled her. It was the first time she had since this whole thing started, an extreme oddity. "I know. This thing is so bandaged up, I couldn't move it if I wanted to though." she softly laughed. For as much as they kept reminding her, it never really stopped her. So Sunny jumped on the chance to help, pulling the cobweb swab off of one wound to flip it around and try to clean off some of the wounds near his haunches. Though she was probably too careful, as her light pattings didn't get rid of all the dirt. Her gaze darkened slightly as Lionpride spoke again. A punishment. It pulled at her heart to imagine Mousepaw being dragged back just for that. She wanted Mousepaw to escape as much as she wanted her here, just to know she was safe. "I know, but this is when Mousepaw needs us to believe in her most." Sunny leaned over to lick one of his ears, pulling back only to keep cleaning the wounds, "We got to at least try and be optimistic, for her sakes and our's."
