Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
{ Quick thread for Jayjack to train with his new soldiers and anyone else that wants to join in c; In case you guys forgot which litter this is: lavellan has Masterkit, @turtlenoir has Kingkit, hals has Marchkit, and Phantom has Beekit! }
Having set aside his duties as an Aurulent for the day (Jayjack reluctantly decided to trust Hystericstar and Poisonrush to run the clan without destroying it, though he had his doubts about their abilities), Jayjack was free to spend time with the litter of kits he had taken in. After they were found in Hystericstar's den he had selected this group specially because they looked fairly promising, or most of them did, anyway.
At the crack of dawn, when it was still mostly dark, the silver tabby found himself in the nursery standing over the group. "ON YOUR FEET AND READY," he boomed, poking the pile of kittens away. "Your training begins today."
This was the start, he was excited that he had been one of the kits chosen by Jayjack for this special training, if only he knew just what he was getting himself into. Beekit lifted his bright ginger-and-white tabby head when the Aurulents booming voice jolted him from his dreams, blinking his green speckled silver eyes a few time to adjust them. He was the smallest out of his siblings, short and thin compared to their tall and filled out forms but he had his determination and willingness. "I'm ready! Get up guys, it's time to train!" Beekit was on his feet, poking his littermates to get them up faster.

A soft, annoyed hiss came out of the small ginger she-cat that was curled tightly into a ball in her nest. The voice was loud. Too loud and it brought her out of a pleasant dream. She almost had that mouse! Sluggishly, Marchkit blinked an amber eye open and when she realized it was still mostly dark she closed it again. "It's still dark outside. Come wake me up when you can actually see the sun." she grumbled, annoyance lacing her voice as she tried to curl around herself tighter and drift off back to sleep. Training. It sounded so boring anyways and why must he wake them up this early?
Jayjack withheld his criticism of Beekit's enthusiasm. They were still kits and he understood that meant they had boundless energy to handle. As long as he was directing his energy toward following orders and waking his siblings, they wouldn't have a problem. Once he was older he would need to tame that unbecoming excitement of his.
His gaze shifted to Marchkit as he spoke, and the Aurulent scowled. He leaned forward and snatched her scruff in his jaws, lifted her into the air. "Do not question orders, kit," he growled, "or you'll find yourself alone outside the clans soon enough. Hystericstar does not like cats with an attitude, he needs loyal warriors." He laid her down, not very gently, in the nest again.

Marchkit let out an indignant screech as she felt teeth attach to her scruff and lift her from her nest. Her claws extended and she swung blindly, trying to hit whatever had a hold of her. Just as quickly as she was snatched up, Marchkit was placed none to gently back in her nest. A small huff escaped her as she landed and immediately she was on her feet, facing Jayjack with a deep scowl as she listen to him speak. Instead of firing off a harsh retort at the tom like she wanted, she bit her tongue. "Fine." She sneered. The dark ginger kit reached behind her to smooth her ruffled pelt as she waited for the rest of her siblings to wake up.
Beekit jumped back when Jayjack swooped down to grab his sister, he knew there was nothing he could do to help but she had gotten herself into that mess, she should have just stayed quiet. He did glance at her for a moment after she was back in the nest but quickly turned his attention back to the bossy Aurulent. "Jayjack, what will we be learning today?"
It took Masterkit a moment to wake up, but once his sleepy gaze fell upon Jayjack and the voices had finally registered in his mind, he sat up straight, forcing his sleepiness aside. This was it, this was finally his chance to make a place for himself. Unlike his brother, Beekit, Masterkit was tall and rather muscular, so the training would hopefully be easier on him. Not to say that he hoped he had it easy, however. He would push himself to be the best if he had to. He stayed silent at Beekit's question, though his gaze was focused on the Aurulent. Strong and fast, just like how Masterkit hoped to be.
Marchkit earned a disapproving from the tomcat, but he did not waste any more time on her. Masterkit was late standing up, but he had good form: he was already looking like he was going to be a strong and powerful cat. He was quiet too, a very valuable trait for a young cat. That was enough to satisfy Jayjack for now and stay his tongue from another sharp comment.
"We're going to do some drills and endurance training, some obedience if necessary-" he suspected it would be "-and finally basic combat. Since you're so eager to get started, you can lead the first drill. I want you all to run two laps around the outside of the camp."
