Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“The raid on SwiftClan was a success.” Bloodyrondo’s voice rang throughout camp as he stood atop the ledge nearest his den and addressed his Clan. With the sun shining down on him he looked positively vibrant, his fur glistering bright as the stars despite the dried blood that clung to it from the battle. “We have recovered many cats of SunClan blood and come back stronger than we were before we left. SwiftClan had been taught a lesson they will not soon forget - do not test SunClan’s temper!” Celebratory yowls came from the assembled crowd, bringing a glowing look of pride to Bloodyrondo’s face, he’d never had such success in battle and was basking in the glory of it all.
He let the cries ring out for some time before he waved his paw, silencing them, and with that the tone dramatically shifted. He was no longer smiling.
“However, in light of the battle, I have a few announcements to make,” His voice was deadly serious, “This victory is the first of many to follow as SunClan continues to enforce its own code. All kits of SunClan blood belong in SunClan. All cats who desert the Clan must be killed or return to face judgement. We will no longer wait for the opportunity to strike, we will make one. Most of us heard Littlestar’s prophecy at the gathering. Somewhere out there our God and our Soothsayer have been born. The only reason I can think of them not being delivered here in their rightful home is because within this very camp stands traitors who put them at risk. We will no longer stand for this! I vow to not only bring the Sun God and the Soothsayer home, but to also punish the Sun God’s enemies, “His celadon eyes settled on a certain auburn-furred she-cat, “And the first one that I will deal with is our very own former High Priestess, Foxbane.”
Doctoredheart sat near the edge of the gathered cats his green eyes glittering as Bloodyrondo spoke so boisterously about their victory, but at the mention of his mother the fox patterned toms gaze sharpened and he looked at Foxbane.
Pollendrone sat near her father and his newest kits that they had retrieved during the invasion on Swiftclan, the little scraps rarely left his side and since she was offering a paw in their care she seldom let them out of her sight. The words that echoed over the crowd were spoken with such confidence, but a shiver ran down her spine just the same, turning to Honeysplash she leaned in close and whispered in his ear. "What do you think will happen to Foxbane?" While she was in no way condoning betrayal she knew some of the she-cats kits where among them. racer
Freckledpaw lifted herself upright to make herself seen in the throng of cats and called out. "How will you find them though? We don't know what they look like and there is a vast amount of area to cover, they could be anywhere!" Her eyes were locked on Bloodyrondo as she spoke, genuinely curious of his plan to bring the Sun God and Soothsayer home.Jadie
Nikkohydrangea barely lifted his head up from the herb he was currently... Getting familiar with. "WoOOOOOH! YEAH, BLUH-DAY!" He cheered having absolutely no understanding of what was going on. "OW OW OW OWWWWWW!" He howled out before falling over onto his side in a shaky fit of laughter as he gripped his belly from the pain of laughing so much, "He's so adorable up there," He mumbled to himself.
Arcticsong stared up at Bloodyrondo, "You can't do that," Her objection was matter of fact as usual, "Historically when Foxbane or Foxstar at the time was out of commission Littlestar could hardly make any leader decisions at all without her priestess or the Sun God. Have you received a sign? Like... Maybe a dead fox or maybe a future vision?"

Honeysplash looked down at the three kits that were weaving around his paws, excited by the huge crowd even though they didn't really understand what was going on. He had claws marks that raked over his eye and a nasty bite wound on one of his shoulders that was still oozing blood "I don't know, but it's not going to be pretty" he replied watching the crowd with calm eyes "lets get these three back to the nursery, no need for them to see what is about to happen" Phantom
Lionpride rose to his feet, a growl rumbling in his throat as Bloodyrondo proclaimed Foxbane's exile "Bloodyrondo, you have no authority to take such action" he stalked forward nearly pushing the other cats out of his way. He towered over most of them, his massive paws making the ground tremble before him. He was normally rather gentle and a pacifist, but he had been known to have violent outbursts in the past "The only one with enough authority to decide punishment, is my mother" Jadie
"Freckledpaw, have faith," Bloodyrondo replied, he was a little annoyed to be interrupted in the middle of his speech, but it was a fair question for a cat so young, "Do not worry about the details, young one. So long as the fire is still burning, I will find it." Phantom
Azura watched the tom she once trained herself with nothing but burning anger. To her, Bloodyrondo had become a monster. Leading on the raid on SwiftClan was an act of pride, and it frankly disgusted her. He ripped kits from their home using his own twisted vision as a justification. She wasn't a fan of Foxbane either, but the former High Priestess owned up to it. Bloody would never do that. Her earthy gaze could have burned holes into his fur with the fire they carried. "Faith? Pffft. The Priestesses always 'had faith' and look where they are now."
Pollendrone nodded to her father and lifted Grasskit by the scruff while nudging Dragonkit with a paw to direct him away, she watched Honeysplash for a moment, the pain of her own wounds dulling at the sight of his; it still angered her that someone had hurt him, she should have stayed with him and helped him.
Freckledpaw didn't lower herself with the toms answer, how could she not worry about the details and surely she wasn't the only one who wanted more information, she would be sure to ask again but it seemed the conflict of what was going to happen to Foxbane was a bigger issue among her clanmates. Lionprides words had her nodding in agreement, while she wasn't one to go against authority, the tom had a valid point. "Lionpride is right, we need Littlestar for this!" Jadieracer
From inside her den, Littlestar raised her head at the sound of Bloodyrondo's voice calling out over the crowd. Her neck was stiff and sore making her groan slightly. When he first started talking it sounded rather normal, announcement of how the battle had went... wait battle? Her ears twitched backwards, had he seriously went out and raided SwiftClan? She gently pawed at her mate and glanced towards Skipstep "Here help me to my feet, it seems my wayward promised needs to be reminded of his place". The High Priestess had already lost one life at the gathering, and for a while it seemed like she may loose more. She went from hypothermic to running and extreme fever, before it finally had broke. Not to mention her broken ribs, leg, lacerations from the branches, the many days without any nourishment. She couldn't stand without being supported yet, but it seems her time to rest had ended. Foxbane had been lounging on some rocks in the sun. She'd only returned recently, and she still had the scent of DayClan on her fur. At Bloodyrondo's clear implication, the ex-Priestess laughed. Funny thing. The one who created this cult was suddenly the target of it. For that matter, she was Littlestar's mother, or as close to it as the feline had, and was engaged to Bloodyrondo's father. It was a real mess of family dynamics.
It also was semi-common knowledge that Foxbane had gotten exiled once before from SunClan, in her youth, long before she'd ever been even a consideration for leader, back in the time Mountainsound had been Medicine Cat. When the fox furred feline rose to her paws, a tyrannical sort of energy rose with her. She wasn't so naive as to think she had much support in the clan, after all, she did do a lot of horrible things, and had even told Littlestar not long ago that she couldn't care less for the majority of them.
A dangerous smirk was written across her features, bearing an air of authority Bloodyrondo could only dream to hold. One built over years of action, and now, built up with an acceptance of self that his words couldn't shake her, when once they might have. "Lionpride is right. You can tell the clan all you want, but even with Littlestar out of commission, your words do not suddenly become law. The clan is not beholden to them." Her voice was smooth and sly, but she was telling the truth. There was no cat in SunClan obligated to follow any order he gave, though for simplicity's sake, it was often easier and wiser.
"It's sad, isnt' it? The Promised trying to exile the first High Priestess, while not even giving the second High Priestess a chance to speak her piece first. Who are you going to deem enemies of SunClan? Please, Bloodyrondo, I know how this goes, don't try and fool me. After all, you're using the most common tactics in the world." She looked around, making eye contact with the cats around her. Not a very many liked the Sun God, least of all once they heard what he'd done to Autumngossamer. Still wearing that knowing smirk on her face. "Which one of you is next? Because any cat who isn't willing to bow down to him now, won't likely see a sunrise again, for one reason or other."

Tinymutiny had been nursing her kits, when the Priest Promised's voice rang out over the camp. She had known about the raid on SwiftClan, but had stayed behind due to her own fragile state. She had mostly recovered from her kitting, but trying to feed twelve newborns was no easy task. She was going to just ignore the meeting, but the moment her mother's name was uttered she was on her paws leaving a chorus of kit squeals behind her. Hey golden eyes scanning the crowd until they landed upon her mother, her tail lashing behind her Jadie
( I have to go but I have pre-written some responses for Racer to post on my behalf as Bloodyrondo. I'll be back late this evening to pick up from there! )
“The minute Littlestar allowed the Moon Goddess’s power into her body, she forfeited her right as the High Priestess; thus, the first rule of the code no longer applies to her, and falls on my shoulders," He replied swiftly to his Clan's concerns. If Foxbane's retort rattled, then him he did not show it, “Foxbane, you knowingly allowed SunClan kits to be born and raised in DayClan. To add insult to injury, just recently you took an entire litter of your own kits to DayClan, further cementing the fact that you don’t care for the code that you yourself crafted. But worst of all, you called our God a monster, denounced him in front of all of the Forest Clans, and stood idly by while Littlestar executed him. I need not list the rest of you crimes, these alone are enough to execute you, but I will grant you mercy in light of you many moons of service as High Priestess. Foxbane, you are to leave the lands of SunClan now and forever, for the next time you step foot in this territory you will be killed.”
Doctoredheart had stayed silent as different cats called out their thoughts but when his mother began to speak he smiled, she wouldn't go down so easily and he knew that, between her and Bloodyrondo she had more experience and knowledge. He watched her from a distance pride evident on his face, to make it clearly known he was in agreement with the former High Priestess the tom got to his paws and closed the distance between them, taking a seat at her side with a look of confidence. He would fight against anyone for the sake of his mother, even if it meant sharing whatever fate lay in store. Honeystorm
Ruinedportrait was only in the main camp because she'd followed her brother here from the battle that she'd hardly participated in. Her pads were in credibly sore from running to SwiftClan in the first place, though it seemed SunClan had won, her effort had not been in vain and SwiftClan would recover. Now she watched her brother from the crowd with nothing but unbridled disgust in her eyes as he spoke. He really was stupid wasn't he?

Innocentlamment had been watching from the back of the crowd, she wove her way through the waiting cats until she was next to Ruinedportrait. Her eyes stayed on their brother in disbelief "He is going to get himself killed at this rate" she murmured. Innocentlament had always been the peace keeper between the siblings, but even she hadn't though he would be brave... or mouse-brained... enough to do something of this caliber. @samiam
Thirdwheel was on his paws, pelt bristled outwards "My mother isn't going anywhere!!!" he announced his blue eyes wide.
Honeysplash picked up the last kit walking beside Pollendrone as the chaos errupted behind them. He didn't want them getting caught up in the coming storm. Phantom
Romancefable waltzed over to Azura, his pelt bristling as he stared up at Bloodyrondo "What in the SUn God's name is he thinking?" stardance
Foxbane practically doubled over with laughter at Bloodyrondo's actions. She doubted she'd be allowed to stay, even if his words held no weight, as she knew she wasn't well liked, and he did present a good attempt at argument. But she wasn't the type to just back down, not when she had so many eyes looking at her. "Oh, if you're going to throw those accusations out there, at least make half of them stick." She smiled at Doctoredheart as he sat beside her. Bloodyrondo's half sibling, siding against him. Not much, but meaningful all the same. "I had permission for the kits, already talked it over with Littlestar and made accommodations. Don't try to throw that me. As for the Sun God thing, are you really advocating for forcing she-cats into pregnancy? If not, then what happened is justified, the prophecy proves he is not gone, and that he shall learn. If you are advocating for such a god as he was, then why should any she-cat follow you at such risk to themselves? If denouncing the Sun God in his previous form mean exile, then I accept it with honor."
She took a step towards the entrance, "Oh, but if I'm going, and you all insist that Littlestar is no longer Priestess based on the word of an egotistical Promised who can't help but usurp the throne the moment his leader is down, then give me Littlestar. She is nothing to you, right Bloodyrondo? You have no reason to keep a traitor, if that's how you view her. Unless you are intending to harm an injured queen. Unless you're intending to actually harm a Priestess that should get more mercy than I considering each of our actions." Foxbane tilted her head up to Bloodyrondo to stare him in the eyes. She was forcing him to either admit what he intended to do, or bow to her. She wasn't challenging the exile, but she would, with all her power, challenge the harm of her daughter.
Queens of SunClan, and their kits, were revered. They were pampered and seen as blessed by the Sun God with the kits they raised. Few clans approved of harming one's own queens.
Zendikdominance scowled. "Make Foxbane leave." The older black tom spoke simply, and Lastaffair raised a paw in agreement. "She's hardly been helpful to this clan, and we all know the manipulative sort she is. How can anyone say this isn't yet another trick?" To be honest, the tom didn't care one way or other. But it was a good excuse as any to push his mother to the wayside, and Lastaffair, his half-sibling, nodded along with.
"LITTLESTAR AND FOXBANE ARE TRAITORS!" Lightningmage's voice rose to the sky. "Foxbane and Littlestar did a lot of horrible things in their lives, Bloodyrondo at least wants to bring us up. And Littlestar never gave the Sun God a chance to change. She could have, but instead she took the power of our enemy and used it. He was starting to acknowledge his actions, and now, who knows what sorts of things Selene might teach to a young deity who doesn't know his own power?"
Pollendrone flinched as the roar of the crowd grew, the tension of anger spreading through the air like a wildfire. "Nothing good will come of this, I'm sure of it." She mumbled around the kit she held, she turned her head to scan the crowd as the distance between them grew, her eyes searching for her brothers, wondering what they thought of all this. racer
"That he is." she murmured back, lifting a paw to her muzzle to lick her scraped pads. She would treat them properly later, now she had to see where this was going. She couldn't stop herself from looking among the crowd for Sorrowfularia, but it was unlikely the other Janus would be here. "What do you think of all this?" she asked her sister, turning her attention on Innocentlament. She didn't get a lot of time to spend with her but she wanted to make an effort to change that. racer
Sorrowfularia was there. Of course they had to be. Any time there was drama with their brother, they were there, ready for it. Managing to catch their sister's eye from their place next to Silverfringe, they gave a dramatic roll of their eyes, but said nothing, not that they were close enough to hear each other over the shouts of the cats that were starting to erupt.
Doctoredheart lifted his head at Lightningmages outburst and growled. "Can you guarantee that the Sun God would have changed his ways before things grew worse, if he did it once whose to say he wouldn't continue or do something far more inconceivable! How many more of our clanmates would have to share similar fates before it became too much? One does not simply change because others wish it!" He held the other warrior with a glare. Honeystorm
Mistyrose picked dirt out from her claws, attempting to ignore her son and the priest promise. In fact in this moment she was jealous Foxbane got to be sent away from it all. Away from her family, away from responsibility, what a luxury. "Me next," She said in her typical monotone voice that garnered a bit of laughter despite her being entirely serious.
Arcticsong stared up at Foxbane before looking back to where her mother had been residing. That was true though... Autumngossamer had said that her mother and Foxbane stole her kits and her mother had willingly allowed Selene's power to embody her. Even if the Sun God had been a bad tom the code was broken and only God was above the code. That was why he was allowed to make Autumngossamer pregnant against her will. Now even though her mom did the right thing it didn't matter because she had broken the code and there were no exceptions. Littlestar had taught her that when she punished Satinlights and Bloodyrondo. It didn't matter how well meaning you were, it didn't matter how right your feelings were, the code was the code and they all followed it.
Her ears flattened hearing Lightningmage call her mother a traitor. She was small already, but felt even smaller in this moment. The cries of outrage were beginning to overwhelm her more than the cruel words they spout out. She rubbed the side of her face anxiously. She didn't want to leave because of the noise, she was a warrior now, but she was being over stimulated by the heat of the crowd and the shouts felt louder than they were. She felt close to fainting, but her limbs were feeling too weak to move now.
