Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ghazen was in a pickle. Well, maybe more than a pickle. A complete nightmare. The tom had been minding his own business on the desert boarder. The initiate had never hunted a scorpion before, and he wanted to give the new techniques he learned a shot. Unfortunately, so did a pair of rogues. They had traveled across the desert, and now saw the Clan's territory for the first time. They also saw water for the first time in days. It just so happened that Ghazen needed water as well, and here they were. The pitch black tom's icy eyes danced between his two attackers as they weaved into and out of his striking range. Clearly, they had practiced together. They were good. The former Lunar Captain was holding his own, but he was far from making any progress. Any opening he saw was minuscule and quickly covered by the other. The tom let out a grunt as another blow landed on his shoulder as he rolled underneath the other's strike. He needed help.
Dapplebreeze wanted to see how far she could go. She was still a kit even with her full name, but she felt the need to seem older. Maybe venturing out alone wasn't the best plan, but you had to make mistakes to learn right? The dappled Janus was a bit tired but finally she was reaching the edge of SunClan's territory. Up ahead she could hear a struggle. Dapplebreeze paused for a second to take a breather, but as it sounded like it was getting worse, she sucked it up and kept going to see what was happening. A fight! Dapple looked for a way she could push herself into the midst to help out Ghazen. She thought back to her times seeing the other Janus practice fighting and tried to jump up on one of the rogues, digging her little claws in as she climbed a leg. stardance

Sorberpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Fortunate
Sorbertpaw had been out sunning herself in the desert, when then sudden sounds of hisses and growls reached her ears. She rose to her paws watching the cats fighting with interest "Oh my goodness!!!" she chirped, not realizing that both Ghazen and Dapplebreeze were in actual trouble "look how cute you are!!! It was only yesterday that you came to SunClan, and now your helping our young Janus learn how to fight" a warm purr filled the air as she sat down, her floofy tail wrapping around her paws
When he envisioned some sort of help from his Clanmates, he defintely did not picture a kitten and perhaps one of the most oblivious cats he had ever met. He had lived in five different groups, and he never met someone he could even compare to Sorbetpaw. He felt anger boil up inside of him when he heard her voice ring but did not see her jump into action. A hiss escaped his lips as another blow landed on his shoulder. His shadowy blood trickled down as the tom struck back with the opposite paw. While Dapplebreeze's plan certainly would not chase one of them off, it did break the rhythm the Ghazen had been struggling to stifle. He quickly glared at Sorbetpaw and glanced over to the Janus before continuing to beat back the his rogue.
The ginger rogue hissed when the young Janus's claws pierced his skin. Where did this cat come from!? Ready to kill, the tom spun around and was shocked to see what looked like a kitten attacking. He hesistanted for a moment before rolling over with the goal to crush Dapplebreeze.

Sorberpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Fortunate
"Be careful boys!! You are getting a little rough" she tilted her head to the side until Dappledbreeze was about to get crushed. Launching forward, she moved to grasp the kit's scruff and put them down outside of the fray of limbs and claws. Standing up and marching over to the two rogues until her face was pressed against the ginger's face "YOU OUTTA BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES" she chastised, clicking her tongue at them, pushing them back with one of her paws "This is a TRAINING exercise, you shouldn't be using your claws and you should certainly shouldn't be hurting little kits"
The Janus felt her yellow eyes go wide as the world began to turn. The rogue was going to crush her! She tried to free her claws from him but they were sticking and she couldn't get all of her paws out. With a cry, she prepared herself for impact but - instead she felt teeth in her scruff and her claws tore free. Dapplebreeze whimpered and stayed where she had been set on the ground, watching as the apprentice who had grabbed her stalked over to the fight.
"Yeah!" she piped up, feeling brave with another she-cat there to stand up for her. Ghazen fighting the other cat freed up this one for the two to handle. Biting her cheek to stand back up on her paws, Dapplebreeze took hesitant steps back to the scuffle and popped around Sorbertpaw, jumping at the ginger's leg to bite at it again. "Don't be rude!"

Sorberpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Fortunate
"Didn't your mentor teach you how to do a training match properly?" she questioned sternly, her eyes narrowed not backing up, instead continually moving forward "You keep your claws in their sheathes and your teeth to yourself" she chastised, lifting one of her paws flexing her claws in and out
While he couldn't hear everything the pair were saying to the ginger rogue, what he did hear stunned him. More accurately, Sorbetpaw stunned him. She was indeed 'special' as Littlestar described her. Who else would decide to lecture a rogue on proper practice fighting technique? Even the kitten had enough common sense to attack the invader instead of lecture him. His brief moment of wonder was rewarded with a swift strike to his cheek. Ghazen's shadowy bloody ran down his cheek as he reared back up with a roar, slicing up his rogue's chest with his claws.
The ginger rogue just kicked the kitten when she jumped at him. He clearly wasn't amused, and just wanted to end it. He took a few steps back with Sorbetpaw before lashing out with his claws again.

Sorberpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Fortunate
Sorbetpaw seemingly unphased, as the tom's claws ripped through long fur but never reached her skin "NO NO NO!!!! You are doing it ALL wrong" she hissed "If you are going to attack, at least put some umph into it!" It appeared her strange good luck was still in her favor. She took another step forward, but she missed the tree root and it sent her tumbling towards the rouge
Dapplebreeze slid across the ground. She pushed herself back up on shaking legs, grimacing. Sorbetpaw kept antagonizing the rogue and seemed to have it covered, so the Janus turned to Ghazen who was still fighting alone. Perhaps she would just get in his way but Sorbetpaw was rested while the Initiate was tired. Dapplebreeze decided to help him as best she could. While he was clawing at the rogue's chest, Dapplebreeze crept up behind to catch him from the back. She sank her teeth - little but sharp - right into his tail, hoping the pain would distract him long enough for Ghazen to get in a good slash. While she was distracted, she didn't notice the apprentice trip in front of the ginger rogue.
He was tiring. He had been fighting the pair for quite some time at this point, and now he was just beginning to make some progress beyond staying alive. He could see a pathway to victory, and that gave him energy. His muscles loosened again in his second wind as he continued his flurry of swipes at his rogue. The rogue hissed as the Initiate's experience finally came to light. No contact was particularly heavy, but every little cut was well placed. The kitten's bite didn't bother him, but he did trip over the kitten as he was backpedaling to stay clear of the initiate's twirling claws. The rogue hit the ground with a thud, and before he knew what happened Nightfury was on top of him. In one precise swipe Ghazen cut open the rogue's neck. The now defeated and dying rogue let out a final hiss before he went still, and Nightfury turned his attention to the ginger one.
The ginger rogue was prepared for the slash Sorbetpaw was aiming for, but he found himself like a dear in the headlights when she fell into him. He went tumbling to the ground with her. He hissed as he came to stop, and he quicked reached for Sorbetpaw's scruff and started churning his hind legs.
The Janus was breathing heavily. She was covered in blood from the rogue. Dapplebreeze stumbled away from the corpse on sticky paws leaving little red pawprints behind. Her eyes were wide and she stood completely still. It was only the second dead body she had seen but the first to bleed on her. Dapplebreeze was frozen in place and she couldn't even force herself to move, to help Sorbetpaw or Ghazen. They were on their own now. She was useless.

“Whoops!” She chirpped as the two of them tumbled. As they came to a stop she laid still luring him in, as he lunged for her scruff she rolled under his legs taking the opportunity to Batter at his unprotected belly with sheathed paws before rolling out the other side and scrambling to her paws “See your to eager, and easy to trick!” She purred trying to play the trip off like it had been intentional. Really she was just lucky, it seeming to follow her wherever she went “Now then next time do be so quick to charge in” she looked over where the body was “or you’ll end up like him”
It boggled the rogue's mind. How did that happen? His eyes widened in shock as he processed the past few seconds. She tripped... right? There was no way she did that on purpose. His gaze than widened as he followed the apprentice's eyes to his friend's body, and Ghazen still standing over it. He could practically see the blood dripping off the initiate's claws. He looked back the apprentice before turning around and sprinting away.
Ghazen tilted his head to the side as he watched the rogue flee. His muscles urged him to give chase. The dark recesses of his mind told him to leave no witnesses, but he stayed. He was different know. Ghazen closed his eyes and exhaled. It was done. The fight was over. He slowly opened them again and looked back to the Janus. He hadn't noticed the blood pooling around his paws, but the Janus certainly did. He knew the look she wore, but had no sympathy. Dapplebreeze was a Janus. It was her destiny to see blood like this run on SunClan soil. "Fine." He grabbed the body and started dragging it to the river. No use in letting scavengers find it, and it certainly did not deserve a burial.

"Next time remember what I taught you!!!" she called after the tom loudly, before turning to the other two. The little Janus looked petrified of the body that Ghazen was now dragging away. She made her way over "Don't worry to much, that cat didn't follow the rules" she chirped, unfazed by wading into the blood, nudging the young cat with her paw "And we taught that other cat a lesson that they won't forget any time soon, so just think of it as protecting your clan"
