Plot: Primal Instinct needs more prisoners to experiment on, which is exactly why there were hunter traps strategically laid out near FallClan and SummerClan. Pineapplepaw and Grasspaw become trapped in the same hunter trap (a camouflage cage that closes shut when a creature enters) when they both went after the same mouse. Now it’s time for Louella-kun to pick up the new prisoners, but the cage is too heavy to haul all the way back to Primal Instinct. This means she’s going to need to be clever about how she convinces the two apprentices to come back with her and the apprentices will need to be wary about this strange scented intruder. Or maybe they’ll all find friendship to be more valuable. Start the roleplay off with Pineapplepaw and Grasspaw stuck in the hunter trap and Louella-kun stumbling upon them.

"Dammit. This sucks." Pineapplepaw said for probably the 12th time. It was one of her only free days as an apprentice, and rather spending it any other way, she was stuck in this stupid cage with some Summerclan cat. To make it worse, the mouse she had been chasing got away. She screamed, paced, slammed her tail this way and that but now she was almost content to lay here on her back and await her fate. "If this was Mintpaw's way of getting rid of me, she's got another thing coming. I'm gonna shove her off a cliff once we get out of here."
"H-hey! Quit shoving me!" Grasspaw growled at the other apprentice as she pushed her way to the center of the cage to lay down, his voice wavering nervously as he glanced wildly around the area. The pair were at the furthest southern point of Summerclan and Fallclan's long border - a wooded area that was more thick undergrowth than trees, that the two clans occasionally squabbled over from time to time. The brown-furred tom had been trying to get in some hunting practice by himself in the hope of impressing his particularly strict mentor, and had managed to track a mouse all the way into the treeline. Unfortunately, when he was just about to pounce on it, he collided with a Fallclan cat instead, and the two quite literally fell into their current predicament. "I don't like this any more than you do, but I don't think a bad attitude is going to get us free any faster."

"Sorry." Even though she said it, Pineapplepaw didn't sound like she meant it. Nah, it didn't overly matter to her. She was frustrated, endlessly so. To just be sitting here with some Summerclan nobody. She could practically feel her status slipping out of her paws. That mouse was long gone, by the skin of its stupid fat teeth. "Well, you got any brighter ideas than, champ? Cause my throat hurts from screaming."
The League she-cat who appeared before them had clearly once been beautiful. Chiseled cheeks, slim body, long and luxurious cinnamon fur. She didn't look more like a forest cat; there was definitely kittypet blood within her. However, at some point in her life she had been subject to a terrible cruelty, and her entire body was riddled in vicious scars. They were mostly healed but did not look old.
She pursed her lips, "Couldn't you have at least gone into two different traps? There's another one just over there, beneath the brush. It would have made all of this much easier."

Pineapplepaw rolled to her feet before bristling as the League cat came closer. They always had this same grimy smell, like sewage compared to the purer smells of the forest. And this one looked like she fit in perfectly. But she couldn't have been much older than Pineapplepaw herself.
"Yeah, that's not suspicious at all, League Scars." Her words came before any clear judgment could stop them, but even then Pineapplepaw wouldn't have. Too patronizing for her own good. "Okay, so let's cut the rigamarole and you open this cage for us."
Grasspaw nearly jumped out of his fur when the scent of Primal Instinct hit his nose. It was a smell that apprentices in Summerclan were taught very early on; specifically, that League cats were dangerous and were to be avoided at all costs. Unlike Pineapplepaw, the young tom pushed himself as far back from the mysterious new cat as he could, not wanting a fight while they were so cramped already. He cautiously looked between the pair of young she-cats as they exchanged words, his ears perking up when the scarred League cat mentioned another trap. "Y-you...you planned to capture us?" he growled, trying and generally failing to sound tough. "What do you want from us? We haven't done anything!"
"Scars, huh?" Louella didn't care enough to take offense of Pineapplepaw's insult, these days she wore her scars with pride. At one point in time she would have worried about the tiniest scratch ruining her doll-like good looks. That did not hold her back anymore. Her scars were armor, "Seems you like them, want me to give you a matching set?" She unsheathed her claws, long and dagger-like, and scratched the side of the cage, and laughed a light, girlish laugh. It didn't match her grisly appearance.
Louella then turned her baby blue eyes onto Grasspaw, "You see, I don't have many friends these days. I'm just trying to make some new ones and I happen to have these cages laying around, seemed like a good way to meet some new cats. So, tell me a little about yourselves."

Okay, she was a little creepy. But what Primal Instinct cat wasn't. Pineapplepaw's ears flattened against her head as Loella scratched the cage. A high pitched noise cracked through the air, made more irritable by that laugh. Still, it was clear Pineapplepaw would have to play nice to get out of here. Though that wasn't really her strongest suit. She was more used to taking charge and letting everyone else trail after her. "Pineapplepaw. Fallclan. Like walks along the river and people telling me I'm pretty. Your turn, Summer."
