Plot: A warrior in SunClan decides that SunClan needs more initiates and manages to round up Eaglepaw, Spring, and Harvestpaw. Accompanying the SunClan warrior is Earthpaw. However before the SunClan warrior can drag the apprentices to SunClan things take a turn for the worse when an earthquake tremors. All four apprentices are swallowed up into the ground. They slide safely into an underground tunnel system, but have no way to get back up, which means they must work together to find their own way out of the tunnel system. Start the rp off with your apprentice landing at the bottom of the underground tunnel.
Spring wasn't in good shape to begin with. It had only been a week or so since Senescence had saved her from Lakeveil and Blazehowl. The she-cat really shouldn't have gone out on a walk in the first place, but being cooped up in DayClan's medicine den was anything but what she had wanted to be doing. And now she was here. She landed at the bottom of the tunnel with a dull thud and a soft, pained gasp. Injuries that were just starting to really knit themselves back together reopened, and the scent of blood quickly permeated the tunnel as she rolled ever so slowly onto her stomach, pushing herself up on wobbly golden paws to a swaying stand.
Earthpaw hit the ground with an audible thud. Letting out a soft oof the large tom got to his paws, shaking the dust from his long fur. Being Graceful wasn't exactly one of his strong suits and earthquakes didn't exactly help the situation by any means. "Are you three alright?" he asked, already trying to take control of the situation.
Harvestpaw could have slid down smoothly, but when he saw he was about to slam right into Spring he rolled to the left on instinct, but skimmed his entire leg across a sharp rock. He let out a sharp hiss as blood gleamed thick and formidably, but did not ooze out. He let out a careful sigh of relief, it wasn't deep enough to be too much trouble. "Not particularly," Harvestpaw said hot and evenly.
He was a SunClan apprentice like Earthpaw just a few days ago, but now he was an apprentice in DayClan. So he wasn't exactly thrilled when Spring and him were getting dragged around by SunClan again. His fur shifted between standing up and laying flat, but looking Earthpaw over he didn't seem to be pushing a threatening demeanor. Although judging by his tone that was probably because he was confident he could handle all three of them. For now that meant they were relatively safe so instead he looked to Spring, "Here, let me... Help you up," He said hesitantly. He had begun to offer her help before realizing he didn't really know what he was doing, but nonetheless leaned closer to Spring for her to lean into him to get back up more easily.

Eaglepaw landed on his feet but then rolled several times before coming to a stop. Dust and debris stuck in his fur causing him to sneeze twice. He had only come along with the others to find out more about SunClan. Perhaps he could learn some secrets he could share with his NightClan clanmates. He rose to his feet and looked around. What had happened? Where were they? "I'm fine," he replied to Earthpaw's question. "But how do we get outta here?"
Harvestpaw stared up at where they had fallen in, "Not up," He concluded. It was too high and there was no way that Spring was going to be able to climb out with her injuries. He had half a mind to start a screaming match with Earthpaw, but when did that ever accomplish anything? Normally the smart thing to do was to wait for help, but their help would be SunClan warriors, then they would be caught all over again.
"I think we should keep walking down these tunnels and hope to find our way out."

Eaglepaw looked down one of the tunnels and shivered. How could cats like Renegade Regime actually live underground? Sure, NightClan's camp was in a cave but it was much roomier and had more light and fresher air than a stale old tunnel like this.
"You're right," he agreed with Harvestpaw. "Up isn't an option so unless we want to wait around here for some cat to finally find our dry bones, we better try these tunnels. At least one of them has got to lead to the surface."
He looked back at Earthpaw, but he didn't trust him, instead ushering Eaglepaw forward as he tried to help Spring, "C'mon, let's go," He said in an attempt to leave Earthpaw further behind. He didn't want to strand the tom, but he also didn't want him too close either. Harvestpaw's tail tip moved forward and back in thought as he moved through the tunnels. "Wherever we emerge we'll have to make sure we're not in SunClan and if we are we'll have to be careful someone takes us back or we're as good as goners."

Not noticing Harvestpaw's aversion toward Earthpaw, Eaglepaw allowed the DayClan apprentice to move him forward. The comment about not coming up in SunClan, however, confused him a bit. Aren't these apprentices being recruited for SunClan like himself? he wondered, although he had no intention of being recruited. He just wanted to spy on the enemy and report back to his deputy or maybe even his leader.
"I don't care where we come up as long as we do," he meowed. "We'll just deal with that trouble when it happens." He padded forward toward a tunnel and sniffed hoping to smell fresh air.

"Yeah that sounds good by me too," Harvestpaw said. He watched as Eaglepaw sniffed the air, he hadn't thought of that so he did the same. So far the air smelt the same, but hopefully they would approach a direction where the air was very clearly fresh and not musky. "So wait, were you trying to join SunClan?" Harvestpaw asked as he began recollecting his thoughts, Eaglepaw had been pretty willingly walking with everyone even though Harvestpaw was only walking because he had to.

The fur along Eaglepaw's spine prickled when he heard Harvestpaw's question. He eyed the DayClan cat carefully. He figured each apprentice here wanted to join with SunClan but from the way this cat worded his question it sounded to him that he didn't want to join either.
He looked around furtively to make sure no other cat was nearby before replying. "No, but I thought everyone here did. I just wanted to see what SunClan was doing. Do you want to join them?"
"I was a SunClan cat and they were awful. They hurt me and my sister when we were just newborns, we had to be resuscitated. My whole family left on peaceful terms, but in every other situation, no one is allowed to alive," Harvestpaw said, his tail drooping slightly, "I was scared what they would do to me when they took me back to camp, but I'm glad I don't have to find out."

"That's awful!" Eaglepaw meowed sincerely. "I knew Sunclan cats were fox-hearts but I never dreamed they'd stoop so low as to harm newborn kits!" The disgust in his voice was unmistakable. "It's a good thing you got out of there alive."
"We were lucky..." Harvestpaw said more so to himself. Lately he had been feeling rather unlucky, but as fate would have it he survived through every obstacle. Maybe his expectations were just too high that he never considered himself lucky before.
He looked along the tunnels anxiously, they kept going deeper, but there were still no signs of an exit. Still he had spent a lot of time in tunnels because of SunClan so they weren't exactly daunting. "I've moved to DayClan and I love it, but I found out I have siblings there and well. I don't know if you have siblings, but some are kind of awful?" He said before laughing, "I know that sounds awful, but they're a paw full to deal with some days. What's your family life like in NightClan?"

Sensing Harvestpaw wanted to change the subject, he went along with it. "Well, I can't say I have any awful siblings," he meowed wryly. "I do have one annoying sister at times. Tinypaw can be too good sometimes, if you know what I mean. Well, like the time I wanted to go exploring outside the Cenote when we were kits. She wouldn't come because 'it was wrong and we weren't supposed to do it.' I think part of it too was she was afraid but wouldn't admit it."
He walked as he talked to Harvestpaw glad he had someone down here with him. He wasn't at all comfortable being trapped underground in these tunnels. Talking was a great distraction for him. He hoped his companion knew where they were going. "But I have an older brother too. He's terrific! Firewind's our deputy too. I hope I can become like him someday."
"Oh really! I have older siblings too, three big sisters, that's really nice to have an older brother to look up to though. Firewind sounds like a great name," Harvestpaw said encouragingly, his SunClan side showing. After all every SunClan cat preferred names that represented the sun or warm and fire was definitely one of them.
Suddenly he stopped in his walk, he tasted the air just to confirm it. There was another cat in the tunnels with them just up ahead. "That SunClan cat who led us here is up ahead," Harvestpaw said in a hushed tone to Eaglepaw. He was certain up ahead was there only exit, if this cat was blocking them they would have to fight the warrior. Normally he would be terrified of those odds, but with Eaglepaw by his side they had a chance of defeating the warrior or at least getting around her. "I think we're going to have to fight her."

Eaglepaw wondered what it would be like to have older sisters. Would they be like surrogate mothers or more like bossy busy-bodies? He gave his fur a fluff by doing a quick shake. He was glad his older sibling was a tom. He was sure life was made easier for him that way.
A different cat scent came to his nose right when Harvestpaw stopped walking. Eaglepaw couldn't quite place the scent but when he was told who it was, he remembered. "Bring her on," he growled. "We can take her together." Whether it was just bravado or that he really believed what he said, he couldn't tell. But right now Eaglepaw thought he could even face a badger if it meant he'd be free from these dark, damp tunnels.
Harvestpaw looked ahead anxiously, but hearing Eaglepaw he grinned. He felt... Powerful standing next to him, stronger than he would feel than if he was standing alone. Standing next to him, he felt he could fight all of lionclan, it was weird because they were from different clans, but in this moment it felt like they had been clan mates since birth. "We got this," He grinned back to Eaglepaw before deciding to charge ahead.
Running forward he realized that the warrior wasn't really getting bigger, in fact he was surprised when he realized just how short she was. He thought she would have grown a bit taller now, but she was Littlestar's daughter, she must be little like her. He slowed his pace, but that was a mistake as the she-cat instantly swept Harvestpaw's feet out from under him. She tackled him down at full force, from any other warrior he would have suffered a horrible bruising, but give her light weight he was relatively alright from the strike.

Eaglepaw was surprised he felt a loyalty toward Harvestpaw as if he was his own clanmate. But he set the thought aside for further examination at a later time, now was not a time to be philosophical. Crouching low, he charged in fast and hard at the small warrior, knocking her off of Harvestpaw. "Let us pass! We want outta these tunnels!"
Arcticsong tumbled to the side, rolling twice before getting up to her paws on the second roll.
Harvestpaw let out a relieved huff of air before hopping back onto his paws, his claws unsheathed this time as he watched their opponent.
"If you want to leave these tunnels you will be on SunClan's territory and therefore invaders. Under SunClan's code you either must join or suffer the consequences. You might be able to knock me around, but when you go up to find the rest of my patrol they won't be afraid to roughen up a few apprentices or even lock you up in prison. If you come with me willingly I'll make you both initiates to be judged later. Your choice," Arcticsong said.
Harvestpaw's paws turned shaky at the idea of returning back to SunClan, especially as an initiate. He heard that SunClan runaways lucky enough to be made initiates instead of being executed were given horrible names and made to eat spoiled prey. That was always SunClan's goal, to degrade everyone into submission. "I think... We should chance the patrol and run?" He asked looking at Eaglepaw. Maybe being an initiate would be better. If there really was a whole patrol above they would be beaten for sure. Maybe even as an initiate they could both find an opportunity to run away, but he preferred keeping his pride above all else.
