Glowstar walked into the ForestClan gathering leading her clan behind her. It had been a while since the ForestClan's met up like this, but there was no reason not to. Even though Flamingstar stole White Tree from DayClan they had managed to regain the piece of territory. There was little conflict worth mentioning that wasn't already resolved. Although she wasn't certain she was sure the same could be said about the rest of the clans, which would make this, for once, a peaceful gathering.
Leucisticcrow sat down in the gathering, he had already lost track of where his bunny Snowthorn was. But at this rate he figured if Snowthorn wanted him he could find him. Being as tall as he was it was easy for him to stand out in crowds like this.

SunClan Littlestar arrived next, leading SunCLan to the gathering. Her brightly painted warriors swept through the clearing, spreading as easily as the flames of a wild fire through the forest. She walked confidently, taking her position by Glowstar's side a purr rumbled in her throat "Well, well well, if it isn't my Aunty Glowstar" she greeted warmly. She sat down, her tail gracefully laying across her paws. When she had first found out about the engagment of Foxbane, Glowstar, and Funk she had be furious. However, it was more hurt than fury and she had decided to try an be happy for them. It was a really strange arrangement, but it wasn't like she hated Glowstar or Funk. She already thought of Glowstar as an aunt that spoiled her and Funk was alright.
Flamingstar arrived next, her cold, unforgiving eyes scanned the clearing as she walked in. Her leafy crown rested softly on her head. A small, young owlet perched on her back with eyes that were round moons and a head that rotated in a full hundred and eighty degrees, taking in everything. Flamingstar's cold gaze rested on Glowstar, the only other leader there other than Littlestar. She was unsure if Glowstar would say anything about reclaiming white tree but the Nightclan leader wasn't going to mention it first. She had some suspicions that one of her own clan mates had willingly given it up. That clan mate happened to be Echomelody. She always knew that Echomelody was soft and easy to break. Echomelody was also on duty to guard it the day she returned and said Dayclan had reclaimed the White Tree. Flamingstar hadnt bothered getting it back. It was useless to them and she couldn't do much about it anyway. Her belly was heavily swollen with kits and it was dangerous for her to even have made the trip to the gathering. Perhaps once she has her kits, she will regain her terrifying rein. Unfortunately, her plump belly made her look soft and less threatening.
"Glowstar, Littlestar." Flamingstar greeted with a curt nod as she approached, looking like a soft, plump kittypet with her swollen belly.
Bloodyrondo padded right at Littlestar's side. He seemed... different. His body paint was not half as elaborate as it usually was and a silver earring hung from his ear. The stone was a chilling arctic blue which matched the soulless look in his eyes. If word of his pregnant mate's death hadn't spread to the other Clans yet then surely it would tonight. He sat himself down with the leaders rather than the deputies and looked at Glowstar through narrowed eyes. He still had not forgiven her for stealing away Wanheda's power and revealing his identity to all of DayClan. That had been a massive blow to his ego although losing Satinlights made it seem so trivial now.
The Priest Promised always had a lot to say but tonight he was silent. Watching, listening. He wasn't the same cat that he was last time he was here.
DAYCLAN
"Fallpaw, who is looking after your ferret right now?" Divinepaw said as she padded into the clearing next to her sister. This was her first gathering but she didn't seem very nervous. Of all the things she could talk about she seemed for more interested in what was going on back home, "Let me guess. Moltenpaw? He's so funny. He has always been such a big supporter of the class system yet he is just about as low as you can be. I feel a little bad for him. I know he wanted to be here, but the cards aren't in his favor." racer

SUNCLAN Well, of course Foxbane was here, and she wasn't that far behind Littlestar, naturally brushing up against Glowstar's side as she padded after the pair, offering the DayClan leader a mischievous smirk as she did so. "Looking gorgeous as always." She purred, echoing Littlestar's warm sentiment with a loving one of her own.
NIGHTCLAN Ahava Vairocana, as usual, followed in behind Flamingstar. The dark eyed she-cat's half-blind gaze swept over the crowd, picking out those whom she was looking for in an instant. Soon. But maybe not quite yet.
DAYCLAN Wanderingwight sat herself down next to Leucisticcrow with a bored sigh. Technically, she wasn't supposed to be here as a SunClan initiate, but then again, Senescence was never much one for rules anyway, and she highly doubted they'd stop her. They'd have a hard time doing so, anyhow.
It only felt right for Yuccablossom's first gathering as a DayClan cat to be sitting next to her father and aunt. Even though she and Wanderingwight had had a bit of a spat not very long ago, the tortoiseshell she-cat was not one to hold a grudge, and her sunny hazel eyes shined brightly as she looked to her, "I missed this," she purred before turning her head to Leucisticcrow, "Do you think mom is going to come?" Glowstar returned Littlestar's smile before catching Flamingstar. Flamingstar looked stunning, she practically walked in slow motion. The evening air catching in her fire hot orange fur, that glimmer of blood lust twinkling in her eyes as she turned to look at her and Littlestar. While Glowstar didn't know what was different about Flamingstar tonight, most observant cats could tell that it was the wicked cool owl perched on her shoulder. Glowstar stared at Flamingstar awestruck before getting a grip, "Did you do something different with your fur? DUDE, you look SO. COOL. You just walk in here with this attitude like, "I'll kill you, don't mess with me. And then you got this killer walk on top of it. I'm into it," Glowstar said with approval. But then Bloodyrondo walked in with this slow swagger, punk come-at-me gaze, and cool silver earring. "Oh my gosh. BLOODY, you look a-ma-zing! That silver ear piece really does it. Wow. I am under dressed, just two feathers on each of my ears? No. Next gathering I need to go all out. This is unacceptable."
"What? Why would she come, she's all the way in Primal Instinct. No, I highly doubt it, plus the last time she was at a gathering Goldenstar was yelling at her for stealing kits and I mean. No one even does that anymore," Leucisticcrow shrugged before more quietly adding, "And gets caught..."
Autumngossamer followed Bloodyrondo's harsh gaze to Glowstar, but could take a guess at why. He had revealed to her his secret identity, which was a little awkward because clearly he wanted her to bee impressed, but instead it was more like why? Cause like Glowstar already treated people, especially those who she considered to be kits like a God. Didn't he have more power being himself?
"Yooo, want to go bug Lucistic, Bloodyrondo?" Autumngossamer asked with a touch of boredom.
NIGHTCLAN
Ratnest, a small black tom with a half white face sat close to Flamingstar, his cautious gaze looking over everyone in the crowd.

DAYCLAN Fallpaw shrugged her shoulder's keeping her eyes one her paws. She didn't really have any interest in being here, not when she had a baby ferret back in DayClan that needed her. Recently she had spending a lot of time out in the territory, rarely returning back to camp so that she could care for it without Glowstar freaking out. It needed near constant attention, and was already starting to get up to no good "Yeah, and he better do a good job or he will have to answer to me" she scoffed Jadie
of course Leviathan was the last to lead his clan into the gathering, he dipped his head apologetically to the other leaders as he hurried, albeit limping the whole way to the tree they were all perched on. The black and white tom paused only for a moment trying to focus on leaping onto his own branch, and thankfully made it without too much of an issue. At least he hadn't made himself look weak in front of the other clans.
"My apologies ladies, I didn't mean to keep you waiting." he purred to the other four leaders.

Littlestar dipped her head respectfully to Leviathan, far more respect than she generally showed to MoonClan leaders in the past. Even though their two clans were rivals, he had allowed her to enter into MoonClan's territory and search their river banks for many days in search of her daughter's body after she had fallen into the river. He didn't have to allow her to do that, even though if he had refused she wouldn't have hesitated to storm their borders in full force to find her. Still their meeting had been rather peaceful, thus the shreds of hostility that normally would have passed between them had gone "Welcome to the gathering, I hope all is going well" she mewed referring to his limp, even though she didn't push it
"Will you stop acting like we're friends? Because we aren't." Bloodyrondo said harshly but his words didn't have much bite. He couldn't stay angry at Glowstar long no matter how hard he tried. It was part of the DayClan leader's charm and he suspected some kind of hidden element. He looked away from her and settled his eyes on the growing crowd, really for the first time since he had begun climbing up with the leaders. It really was humbling to see the sheer number of cats and the Priest Promised felt a lot of pride as he counted SunClan cats very nearly outnumbered all the other three Clans combined even without the apprentices.
Then he heard Autumngossamer's voice cut into his conversation and replied before he really thought about it, "You know what? Sure, lets." He hadn't spoken to him since he had been unmasked, but he had a feeling the black-furred tom would not hold it against him. Plus he wanted to meet the she-cat that was chatting his ear off. He'd never seen her before but that Eerie shimmer in her eyes told half the story. Faith
DAYCLAN
"I'm sure he will. You should see him with baby bunnies. He should have been an Animal Whisperer but his pride wouldn't let him." Divinepaw said then swiftly changed subjects, "It really is something seeing all the leaders together. And SunClan. Wow. That Clan is huge. But I don't see Harvestpaw or Sweetpaw... I would have liked to catch up with them." racer
"I guess you are right... but I kind of hoped that she'd join DayClan once she heard I was there, you know? I miss her. We've always been together," Yuccablossom's eyes continued to scan her father's for some kind of guidance or affirmation. She was quite a needy cat when it came to her family, "No offense, but I just don't like Primal Instant. DayClan's class system is much more affective in rehabilitation than the Punishment District." SUNCLAN: Lovesmitten emerged from the crowd taking up position at his mate's side, his tail intertwining with hers protectively "There you are my love" a purr rumbled in throat, his eyes lighting up. It was like this every time the two of them made contact, like it was his first time seeing her all over again "You look beautiful tonight" he glared at Bloodyrondo from her side possessively Faith
DAYCLAN: Fallpaw nodded in agreement "They were a lot of fun to tease. I bet I could get one of them to fall for me if we had some alone time. They were kind cute" she giggled Jadie
Perhaps it was the pregnancy hormones or maybe it had simply been the compliment but Flamingstar viewed Glowstar differently tonight. As uptight as she was when she walked in, it seemed as if Flamingstar relaxed ever so slightly. She had always been harsh toward the other clans, especially Dayclan but thinking back, the Nightclan leader couldnt recall any insults the Dayclan leader had given her. Every time the two leaders met, Glowstar always had something pleasant to say to Flamingstar. "Your looking well yourself, Glowstar." Even though she was in a slightly better mood, thanks to Glowstar's compliment, there was still resentment toward Littlestar for the Nightclan leader was still certain the Sunclan leader held her medicine cat captive. Tonight, she will get the truth because she had a secret that she was going to share tonight to make Littlestar talk. For now, though, she will remain quiet about it until the meeting began. "I didn't do anything different. Perhaps you haven't met my newest pet." She turned to show off her owlet. "This is Nyra."
The Owl's head turned slowly to look at Glowstar, her round eyes focusing closely on the Dayclan leader. Her eyes mimicked a solar eclipse. They were mostly blue but in the center, her pupils looked like moons, covering up what should have been the sun, casting golden rays in each direction. Her feathers were mostly white with hints of gold. It let out a loud hoot that echoed throughout the clearing, making the crowd go silent for a moment and stare in their direction.
Bloodyrondo returned Lovesmitten's glare with a very intentional yawn that showed off each one of his fangs. That cat was an absolute non-threat to him. Basically Autumngossamer's puppy dog. He decided to ignore him. racer
DAYCLAN
"You be careful, Fallpaw. If you fall in love in SunClan your heart will get broken one way or another. Either that or your spirit," Divinepaw replied then stretched, "Perhaps we should go socialize with some of these other cats. That's the whole point of this, right?" racer
"Punishment is meant to teach a lesson. It's a consequence for doing something wrong," Yuccablossom replied as she switched from one conversation to the next, her eyes stormy but her face calm, "Please enlighten me if I misunderstand..." Honeystorm

DAYCLAN "If you think the Punishment District of the League is truly about rehabilitation, then you fundamentally misunderstand Primal Instinct as a whole." Sen didn't even seem bothered by the question. "There's a reason cats like me live there, and cats like you don't. Morality isn't really something I ascribe to on a day to day basis. A cat ends up in the Punishment District because they get sent there. For being a traitor, maybe, but it's often easier to kill those cats. To be tortured for information? More likely. Or to be broken until they fit in with the League. You don't need to do wrong to be punished, you just need to be unlucky, or have a death wish with some strange intent to prove yourself to a bunch of murderers, thieves, and cons." Yuccablossom had this strange idea of right and wrong, though it should have been rather clear to her by now that Senescence did not in the slightest care about such things, at least, normally. That one instance was an exception.
"I disagree with you." Yuccablossom purred although the air between the two she-cats was almost sparking with tension. The two couldn't seem to be together more than a few minutes without meeting some sort of division. Good think her father was around to diffuse the situation, should it escalate too far, right?
"Cats should receive punishments as a direct correlation to some sort of ill-conceived action. In DayClan it's a loss in class, in the League it's torture, but the premise is the same. The problem is that sometimes cats carrying out those punishments are misguided. It's up to those of us who know better to correct them," She looked directly into Sen's eyes. A quiet, but direct, accusation, "So, if you know of a cat who is issuing underserved punishment, then a Proxy like you should take the steps to fix it. After all, watching a crime being committed and doing nothing to stop it is the same as doing it yourself. That's the problem with the League, though, no one holds anyone accountable and the fine line between right and wrong is blurred. I wish I could have done more to help but after Shadow Era failed I... I just couldn't show my face there again. So I decided to do something for myself and join DayClan, the only Clan that does it right. Besides, my dear family lives here!" She rubbed her head against Sen's shoulder and twined her tail with Luc's, "I'm so happy to be home!" HoneystormFaith
The DayClan medicine cat staggered in at the tail end of the group of cats, his fur scuffled and wild. He didn't have time to clean himself up, too busy looking after Lioningsnarl until the moment they had to leave for the gathering. The foolish tom had cut himself on some shiny twoleg contraption and he had spent the last hour teaching his apprentices how to sew up the wound before sending them off with the gathering patrol, and stayed behind to clean up the mess. They ought to be in here somewhere, Brakewings mused as he scanned over the clearing, hopefully not getting into any trouble tonight. Fairytalepaw and Darkpaw were a handful enough as it was.
NIGHTCLAN
Floodfate kept the edges of the clearing, ignoring every other cat as usual.
The black-and-white tom had entered the gathering quietly, sticking to the side of a patrol until he could find a shady spot to hide. He ended up near a pair of apprentices, keeping his face carefully turned away from them, blending in with the crowd to the best of his ability. His head hurt from the stress of just being here, but he couldn't resist returning one last time.
DAYCLAN For all the apparent tension, Wanderingwight seemed entirely at ease, as though this was a conversation she'd had a hundred times before. And it sort of was, though the fine details were different. "You can disagree all you want. But at the end of the day, morality is just a concept made up by cats to pin their version of 'good' against what they don't want to look at as the 'evil' and 'wrong'. One cat may decide having kits is wrong and worth punishment, another says murder is bad no matter the context. It's so subjective that it's really just preference of the lines you choose to draw to try an elevate yourself above someone else. Morality doesn't really exist except for you to feel superior. The mere existence of the League proves that cats are not inherently born with these ideals, but taught them. You can make whatever limit you'd like, but at the end of the day, you can't expect me to care or be beholden to them."
"Dad, what do you think?" Yuccablossom pulled her head away from Wanderingwight's and looked right into Leucisticcrow's eyes. Bright and shimmering in the moonlight, the same color as the wheat fields of DayClan as well as her mother's. She and he aunt would never agree but maybe if her father backed her up she would change her mind. Or, at least, maybe give Yucca's way of thinking some more credit, "You do think that cats who do bad things can be rehabilitated, right?" HoneystormFaith
