Thread Prompt Dice Roll - 1 Sickness, roll again for 5 ticks w/ Surfkit

He felt off today, but couldn't place why. You wouldn't be able to tell at first glance, since Surfkit spent his days on like his days off; chilling out in the nursery and attempting to get some peace and quiet. He barely had the strength to get up, when normally he just repressed that energy. Shaking like a leaf but at the same time feeling like he was moments away from melting. Surfkit couldn't see the 5 ticks that had buried themselves in between his belly and the stump that was his missing leg.

Darkpaw watched the kit for a minute, bored amusement in her gaze. She finally decided it was time to help the poor scrap out. After rising with a yawn, she made her way towards him. "You good?"

He ignored his head swimming like he had finally taken on the water he craved when Darkpaw approached him. Surfkit barely knew the apprentice, something or other about her maybe being with the medicine cat. It didn't matter when his mind was as sloshed as it was. His emerald green eyes blinked, looking her up and down before nodding. "Yeah, I guess." He yawned, not really knowing either way.

"Yeah, I can definitely tell." She responded blandly, steadying him with her tail. A 'tsk' escaped her lips and she padded towards the Medicine Cat's den. "Come on. Let's take a look at what is going on with you."

"Geez." Surfkit whined as Darkpaw helped him to his paws. He really just wanted to go back to sleep, walking wobbly even with her support. Surfkit was more of a background character to his sibling's shenanigans, the sort to pull them back to reality. Feeling his own feet slip around under him, like the ground was shifting beneath him made him sicker. "Ugh, I'm fine. Just have the common courtesy to tell me what sort of herbs you wanna test on me before you shove them down my throat."

"And what's the fun in that?" Darkpaw responded with a wink, hauling him up by the scruff and half-carrying, half-shoving him towards the medicine cat's den. "Goodness, for a small scrap you are heavy. Not to mention stubborn. Luckily, I know just how to deal with hard-headed kits."

"The fun in knowing what I'll die from before I die." Surfkit was a bit melodramatic, giving up and letting Darkpaw shove him. He could have helped by pulling himself, but he kept doing it in the wrong direction before giving up as he was dropped in the medicine cat's den. "Maybe you're weak. I'm missing a whole leg to make me lighter after all." Surfkit lifted his stub, falling over a little as he tried to hold it up. Through his foggy vision, he could make out some new dark mark on his leg. "Where'd I get that from?" He touched it with the back if his paw. It didn't feel right, probably cause they were ticks, but Surfkit didn't notice.
