Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ivory crept slowly through the territory, she was aiming for slightly inside the border so that the kist would be found quicker. The she-cat had already dropped off half of the kits in SummerClan inside their border. She couldn't raise these kits, she'd already failed once. Their best chance at life was to be raised in a clan that will treat them right. Unsure what was going on in the clans, she didn't want to overwhelm them and thus screw her kits. She wanted them to have the best chance possible and thus had split them up. Two clans could care for smaller litters better than one large litter. Who knew how many kits were already in the nursery or how many cats in general. Littel mouths too up a lot of food, she knew that from her time in the League and when EarthClan was still a thing.
Her gaze went down to the two kits she'd brought here. It'd been slow going moving all five of the little ones, but she'd made this decision a while ago and had planned things well. Ivory had given birth close to the borders of SmmerClan, out in the no-mans-land between there and Primal Instinct, in a hollow, dead tree. She did this so that she could quickly make her drops and not have to carry the kit far. Or leave them unattended long as she dorp part of the litter in one clan. So far things had worked out well. The kits in SummerClan had already been found, she'd stuck around long enough to make sure of that before returning to the hollow tree to collect the last of the litter. Now she'd wait here until a patrol came along. It was near mid-day so hopeful it wouldn't take long.
Leaving the kits near a tree in the Sweet Sable Woods. She quickly left to hide a ways away, out of scent range but close enough to watch.

The abert squirrel had just turned towards a tree when Splashgaze pounced onto it, delivering a swift killing blow. Her teeth sank into its flesh and a rush of flavor seeped into her open mouth. Having been assigned to hunt for the day, the peacekeeper's mind had jumped straight to the Sweet Sable Woods. The cherry blossom trees were lovely here and the prey plump and lazy. She'd been craving squirrel lately and the ones here were by far her favorite. The calico she-cat kept from swallowing it down and lifted the rodent in her mouth. She needed to find a place to store it while she continued hunting. As she stepped through the pink woods a strange scent reached her, barely noticeable past the squirrel she carried.
Quickly, Splashgaze lowered the squirrel and buried it. It wasn't the best location but she had to focus on this new scent, which she now knew belonged to unfamiliar cats. DayClan was friendly to outsiders and allowed them the freedom to move about their territory, but it never hurt to be cautious. Splashgaze followed the scent trail slowly until she arrived near the base of a tree. Breathing in deep, she recognized the smell of milk present. Kits! Her blue eyes scanned the ground until finally, she spotted a couple of kits curled near the tree. She rushed over and pressed her nose gently to their flanks. Thankfully, they were alive.
"Oh, what are you doing out here?" she muttered. They couldn't have been abandoned, could they? A shudder ran down her spine and her head turned to look around the clearing.

Splashgaze couldn't see or scent another cat in the area, which increased her suspicion of their abandonment. If they had been left here temporarily, the kits would have been well-hidden and carry a stronger scent of their mother or father. At the kit's wail, Splashgaze turned back to them, lowering her nose to their level and crouching down. "It's okay, little one. You're going to be okay." She wanted to wander out in search of a scent-trail but she couldn't leave the kits where they were. Many predators claimed the woods as their home and Splashgaze wasn't about to take that risk. DayClan would welcome the kits into their camp and then, she could come back out with a patrol. "I'm going to take you two somewhere safe," she purred, nuzzling her muzzle into their tiny bodies.
