Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

What is it like to strive for perfection? Not perfection in the eyes of an over-critical mother or in the color of one's pelt, but perfection of soul? To seek that goal which every cat struggles towards, whether they know it or not? Though she won't be able to give you a full answer, try asking Voidseeker. The gray-brown tabby she-cat might seem like a font of infinite wisdom to some, but she will be the first to tell you that she doesn't know very much at all in the grand scheme of things. Her mother gave her the somewhat ominous name of Voidkit when she was delivered, not crying like her siblings but laying there, perfectly content as the medicine cat tended to the other kits first. She seemed like a blank spot in the world to her mother, undemanding and guileless. Some may assume the name was given in hatred, but quite the opposite. Her mother appreciated Voidkit immensely, often using the she-kit's ascetic nature to care for the other, more demanding kits first. In Voidkit her mother saw a freebie, a kit she didn't have to worry about and could depend upon to help her with the kits. This may have worked to her mother's benefit, but it was also a truly formative experience for the young Voidkit. She learned that she could provide the most happiness by serving as a vessel for help. She allows StarClan to work through her by making herself available to any in need, so long as her help with please them and help make their lives easier. This self-sacrificing trait was picked up young by Voidseeker, but became one of her defining characteristics. The clan soon came to understand that if they needed help or found themselves behind on their work they could turn to Voidseeker. She never said no, never complained, and always left them with a smile. Some began to abuse Voidseeker's nature and found ways to push their work off onto her, leading to her returning, exhausted, to her nest only hours before the sun rose in order to do it all again. Still, she said nothing and instead put her head down and worked doubly as hard to ensure the job was done correctly. Eventually, like she knew it would, her unwillingness to break and give them the meltdown they expected caused guilt to sink in, and before the end of the moon those that sought to abuse her kindness were instead helping her with her chores instead. This is really the crux of who Voidseeker is. Hardworking, allocentric, and above all, patient. Because she understands that growing into the best version of one's self doesn't happen overnight, but takes many moons of nurturing and tending to before the seed will sprout. Her voice is soft, unassuming, and often utilized by the queens of the clan to sing lullabies to put the kits to sleep. The moons spent visiting with the clan's elders have filled her with FallClan's rich history, allowing her to serve as a resource for leaders and others who would like information about how the clan had functioned in the past. Though somewhat average as a hunter and a fighter, her determination to always do the best that she can has led her to practice enough that her skills are quite advanced for a warrior her age. However, like every cat in the entire world, Voidseeker is not just made of good. To every yang there must also be a yin. With this pure-hearted desire to help her clanmates succeed comes a somewhat domineering side that she often likes to keep hidden. As an expert in many somewhat niche areas, she expects her advice to be heeded, so when a cat might challenge or criticize her suggestion, she may respond sharply or leave them to fail and come back to her, repentant. Her protective nature also leads her to become suspicious of outsider clans and cats, not always trusting that they too have the best interests of the clan at heart. This may come off at first as close-minded, it comes from a place of deep love for her clan. Still, it is a bad habit she consciously seeks to break every time she finds a stray thought wandering towards it. She is of a fairly average size for a she-cat, with enough muscle to carry her on long journeys or use in tough fights. Her light gray fur is always neatly groomed, as she believes that outward appearances belay inward serenity. She might not be especially spectacular to look at, indeed appearing entirely average outwardly at first, her eyes are a startlingly bright teal. Many find her direct gaze to be almost disconcerting to hold, and it is no surprise why. Voidseeker reads other cats as one might read a story, thoroughly and reflexively. She tends to catch the smallest tell, from a flick of the ear to the wince of an eye. Her perceptiveness if what allows her to help her clanmates to find the problems they face and tackle them head on, but like her willingness to help, it can often be a little off-putting to those unaccustomed to her nature. Nevertheless, those that get to know and understand appreciate that she is a once-in-a-generation cat that truly believes the best of her clan and her clanmates, and can truthfully be said to always, always put her clanmates first.
Head bowed, Voidseeker's lips moved silently over words only meant for herself and StarClan. To anyone looking, she was a statue petrified by time and nature. Only the faint rise and fall of her flanks gave any indication that she was still drawing breath, and even then their movement was infrequent. The Secret Garden, though no longer very secret, was a favorite place of hers to relax and meditate, the soft trickle of water and comforting scent of herbs uniquely suited to her needs. Finally, the she-cat lifted her head and inhaled deeply, teal eyes opening and almost immediately crinkling at the corners in a smile.
Contentedness was Voidseeker's default state, the one she'd been born into and never varied far from. Looking around the garden nestled safely under the roots of the massive Great Oak, she noted all of the herbs were still growing well and made sure to make a mental note to let Amberbird know. The tom had his paws full with new-leaf illnesses making their rounds; it was the least she could do. She stood and stretched, making careful note not to step on any of the delicate herbs, before exiting the small hollow beneath the Great Oak and stepping into the sunshine. It was a glorious day, and she wouldn't waste it idly. Looking around, she decided to find someone out and about in the territory needing help.
Ravendagger slunk through the FallClan trees, winding himself around them and casually scenting for prey. For now, the tom had only caught one little mouse. He wasn't on a hunting patrol, but he disliked being at the camp and preferred to be alone when possible. The tom's half-hearted attempt at hunting was cut short as he caught the scent of a clanmate instead. While Ravendagger was more apt to keep to himself, that didn't make him standoffish nor shy, and the tom was known for his attempts at pranks and humor. The dark silver tabby looked around for a suitably thick tree and began to climb, seeking a vantage point from which he could discover which clanmate was moving around. Near the Great Oak he saw her - Voidseeker. The she-cat looked quite like him except her fur and eyes were both lighter shades than his own.
Ravendagger watched as she exited the tree and came into the sunlight and he pondered a harmless trick he could play on his clanmate. There wasn't much he could do from the tree unless ... he dropped something? The tom still had the mouse dangling from his teeth, and the idea bloomed in his mind. He carefully laid the mouse in front of his paws on the branch. Please walk this way. Come on, Voidseeker. Just when it seemed like the she-cat would change direction, she came toward his tree. Perfect. As she passed under his branch, Ravendagger let out a horrifying shriek and pushed the mouse off of the tree down to where Voidseeker was walking.

Her mind was turned more inwards than outwards, so Ravendagger's scent and the slight sounds of something above her didn't register to the she-cat. When the mouse fell from the tree, she jumped slightly, stepping backwards in caution until she realized what it was. "Oh, poor little thing," she mewed to herself, barely sparing a glance at the tree it fell out of. "You didn't mean to fall, did you?" She nudged the mouse, not immediately realizing it was dead, until she saw the nip at its neck that killed it. "Oh?" She was confused, unable to piece together how a dead mouse would fall from a tree, until realization slowly dawned on her.
Looking up, her cerulean eyes met Ravendagger's, and a small, disappointed frown appeared on her face. "Ravendagger," she mewed, her voice soft and more like a disappointed mother than angry clanmate. "You know it goes against the warrior code to play with your prey. It is meant to be eaten with thanks to StarClan, not dropped on unsuspecting clanmates." There was no heat behind her words, though she shook her head at him.
The tom was pleased by Voidseeker's initial reaction to the mouse. He had gotten her to jump back. Next time he would try to get a squeal though. Ravendagger climbed down from the tree, claws digging in as he scaled the trunk. She chastised him about the mouse, but he was happy that she didn't seem actually angry with him. He liked to tease but he didn't do it to be cruel or mean. Ravendagger brushed against her apologetically and said, "Sorry." There was still a joking light in his eye, but he figured pushing the she-cat anymore wouldn't be very nice. "What were you doing out here anyway?"
