Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bright, viridian eyes and a deep, Russian-blue pelt are Kiwisplash's signature looks, and the she-cat knows it. Born to FallClan parents and raised happily with her siblings, Kiwisplash has known only happiness in her life. Her biggest problems revolve around getting the softest nest or finding the cutest tom to date, so her worldview is slightly...slanted. Carefree and naive, she doesn't really understand the troubles the other clans face or why there is fighting between them. Her ignorance about the ways of the world often lead her to breaking the warrior code more often than not by visiting friends in other clans, hunting on their territory, or exploring the forest on her own. So far, it seems that StarClan has watched out for her, but her escapades might not end so happily in the future...
A small whimper caused a few cats to raise their heads, but when they couldn't spot what the source was they shook their heads and continued about their business. This was both good and bad for Kiwikit. Good, because if she was caught she was sure she'd have her hide tanned by the queens, and bad because she was stuck and had no way of getting down herself. The trees that loomed over FallClan's camp and kept it cool in greenleaf and protected from the snow in leaf-bare were just too tempting for the she-kit to ignore, so in one of her bouts of adventure she had taken it upon herself to climb up one.
Once there, she crawled out onto a wide branch to look down at everyone in camp, giggling when she realized they looked like ants crawling around. However, her giggles didn't last for long when she decided to come down and couldn't. Now, looking down at camp, Kiwikit regretted her decision immensely. What if she never got down? She'd starve and the crows would eat her and then her siblings would be so sad. She was unable to withhold another whimper, and accompanying it was a tear as well this time. "Help me," she mewed softly, wishing she had never climbed the dumb tree in the first place.

It had been a day full of beetle hunting for Charmingkit. Although he didn't absolutely love picking up the leggy creatures, it was something he was willing to do for his siblings. They had chosen the game and he must follow through, right? The dark tabby grimaced as a june bug crawled across the ground in front of him. Charmingkit attempted to kept his paws light and stalk it, but he was just a kit so it wasn't like he knew what he was doing. It didn't take long for the bug to hear his pawsteps and in a heartbeat flew a tail-length away and half-landed, half-ran-right-into a nearby tree. He let out a soft sigh and continued on with his hunt until a soft whimper sounded from above him.
Glancing up, Charmingkit found himself staring into the frightened eyes of Kiwikit. "Ah, how did you get up there?! Are you stuck?" Although his question sounded worried and a bit frantic, he kept his voice gentle so he wouldn't startle her more.

Kiwikit looked down at Charmingkit, her eyes wide and scared. "I climbed up," she replied, a tinge of pride in her voice despite where her prowess got her. "But I can't get back down. It's too far and I don't wanna fall..." She squeezed her eyes shut, growing slightly dizzy at the height she was at. "And if I tell anyone, I'll get in trouble. I don't wanna be crow food!" Her last comment came out as more of a despairing wail.
"Can you help me?" she finally asked, collecting herself just enough to open her eyes and squint down at Charmingkit. "I-I can't get down by myself."

Charmingkit fought the urge to glance from where she was perched in the tree branch to the ground which was about 5 ft below and not a difficult jump at all. Sometimes the ground looked much further away when you're on top of something. That was probably the problem. All he had to do was go up there and show her that she'd be safe if she jumped down. Giving her, and himself, a nod of resolve, he prepared to climb the tree. "You climbed this all by yourself? I'm impressed!" He meowed gently before latching onto the trunk. He had never actually climbed a tree before so it was a bit strange and he moved awkwardly as he clawed his way to her branch. "Phew. I made it. We'll get down in no time, I promise. There will be no crow food today!" He purred softly, giving her a comforting smile. "Alright, I think we should be able to jump. I'll jump first and you can follow me once you're comfortable, okay?"

Kiwikit gave a timid nod when he explained his plan, though she clung to the branch even more tightly when his climbing caused it to jostle a bit. "I-I'm not so sure about this after all..." she began, but when he stopped next to her she forced herself to be brave. If he could climb up himself and then jump down, certainly she could too! His compliment about her climbing took her mind off of the terrible height for a moment, allowing her to glow with pride. "I dared my littermates I could do it and they said I couldn't, so I had to show them! I'm a great climber, Mama says."
She chanced a look down again, the ground looking every bit of a mile below them, and dug her claws into the tree bark again. However, his soothing manner of talking and reassuring smile had her almost believing they could do it. Together. "Okay," she replied, giving him a wobbily smile. "Okay. I'll go after you. If you can do it, so can I!"

"You are a wonderful climber." Charmingkit agreed with a smile before preparing himself for the leap. Although it wasn't really that far, he felt a bit nervous. What if he embarrassed himself in front of her? Oof, that would be his luck. Forcing himself to relax with a few deep breaths, he gave a nod and jumped down. He landed smoothly on four paws in a moments time and opened his eyes to glance up at Kiwikit. "See, it's just fine! You've got this!"
