Diamonddust knew she was dreaming because she could see.
A beautiful and supernaturally still lake swept out before her. Its waters were speckled with thousands of little white orbs that shined bright against a midnight black background. Naturally her gaze was drawn to the largest orb of all, pale yellow and almost ghostly in nature, freckled with craters and so beautiful she nearly swooned at the sight. As she traced the large orb she realized it wasn't water-born but a reflection of the ceiling above her. Except... it wasn't a ceiling. It was the... sky?
Diamonddust looked upwards and gasped, leaving her mouth agape as she took in the stunning night sky. Now that she was looking at the source she could see little wisps of indigo and purple intertwined with what she now knew to be the stars. Tears burned at the corner of her eyes but she refused to blink. She wasn't going to miss a single moment of this. She'd never seen the sky before... or a sight near as breathtaking as the full moon.
