Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Urban Legend Definition: A humorous or horrific story or piece of information circulated as though true, especially one purporting to involve someone vaguely related or known to the teller.
This contest is designed for you to make an urban legend based off of Classic! This can be an urban legend story based in the roleplay world of Classic or on Classic's site. Given that this is an urban legend we expect that none of these stories are real so you are allowed to bend the truth and add some supernatural components into the narrative if you wish!
Nope! You're welcome to make your urban legend scary, but it does not need to be scary
Where do I post my urban legend?
You can make your urban legend story on this contest thread, a google document or any other writing form that can easily be shared.
How will the contest winner be decided?
Everyone on Classic will be able to vote for who the winner will be! If there is a tie though we will have three judges (who are not the finalists) decide who the winner is based on the tie.
Judge Criteria (IF there is a tie, if there's not a tie then this won't happen at all!)
- Creativity
- Enjoyable reading experience
- Memorable narrative

RULES
- Story must be based off of Classic whether it's the website itself or in the roleplay world.
- Rules 7, 8, and 11 can be broken within the narrative story, however all other rules must be followed. No hardcore swearing or nudity mentioned, etc.
- If you want to use someone's character in the story or a user please ask for permission.
This contest could NOT have been more perfectly timed! I found this doc in my Google Drive called "All Registered Users" that I don't remember writing. I was going to just delete it, but something's telling me I should post the link here instead. Give it a read—maybe someone else can make more sense of it than I can.
