Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
With the celebration of life going on, it was only right that SunClan's most prominent family have their own little get together. Littlestar had invited all of her children, their mates, and her grandchildren to join her for a family dinner not far from camp. Everything had been prepared, and a great feast of yummy food had been collected for them to come and just be together as a family. However, there were a few ulterior motives for this dinner. For one, despite her best efforts Satinlights was pregnant. She hadn't yet told anyone, but under her expert eye it wasn't difficult to tell. It was time for her and Bloodyrondo to face the music, and tell the rest of the family about their big news. There were also a few other of her daughters that had been up to no good, and Fernskip had finally returned after SunClan had believed her to be dead for many moons.
In any case, the truth would all come out. She purred, nuzzling Skipstep as they waited for the others to arrive "It will be good to finally be together as a family"
Bloodyrondo had always wanted something like this. A real family. His mother had dipped before passing initiation and he unequivocally disliked all of his siblings. Littlestar's family, though, differences set aside he really did care for them. Littlestar had sort of filled the void left by Vibrance and of course Satinlights was his beautiful and perfect mate. It was no surprise that he and Satinlights were the first to arrive and he sat himself opposite Littlestar and Skipstep.
"Good afternoon." He said, motioning for Satinlights to sit down next to him, as if it wasn't obvious enough, "This is quite the feast! The Sun God has blessed SunClan is with another bountiful new-leaf. We really do need it this year with so many new lives among us. Has SunClan ever had such a vast population before?"
Satinlights had already taken her place beside her mate, eyeing the spread laid out before them. Bloodyrondo seemed to be more excited about this family get together than she was, not that she wasn't excited to see her family she just felt off. She wasn't particularity hungry, not even the rabbits looked very appealing to her, still she came looking like the picture of health and radiance, not a strand of her plush fur was out of place. She lifted her blue gaze to her parents and couldn't help but smile at the closeness between them "This is amazing, thank you both."

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
"Not since I have been here" she chuckled, it was true. SunClan was thriving, growing stronger each day. The clan was larger than ever before, and it seemed like peace was the mark of her reign thus far. SunClan had a few skirmishes, but nothing by the standards of her predecessor who would be joining them at any time 'We are very blessed to have such an abundance, with our numbers seem to be growing by the day" she allowed her gaze to linger on Satinlight, before flickering over to Bloodyrondo waiting to see if either of them would bring up what she already knew. After a moment she pressed a little further "I'm sure even more kits will be filling the nursery soon"
"Most definitely! You are due any time, aren't you? And I've heard that Tinymutiny is pregnant, too. We are lucky that you just held apprentice ceremonies, otherwise I fear we'd have no place to put them!" Bloodyrondo replied, a grin on his face, he liked these kinds of conversations the best because he was so proud of SunClan. No other Clan could match the size and might of the Sun God's chosen and he felt directly responsible for it.

"True, but I am not the only queen expecting" this time her gaze fell squarely onto Satinlights "There are other younger queens, some of which are expecting for the first time that will be going to the nursery soon enough. It is important for them to rest, especially for first time mothers" she herself had already taken a small step back from her duties leaving more to Bloodyrondo by the day. She still supervised everything that went on in camp, but left more of the hard labor to her promised as her due date neared. It was even becoming more difficult for her to attend the morning and evening prayers, but she still forced herself to go even when queezy. The clan needed a strong leader, and to feel her presence. Besides, even though she had taken Bloodyrondo back as her promised, she still hadn't found it in herself to completly trust him once more. It was going to take some time to get to that point.
Sanguinerose was...nervous, to say the least. She began to groom her golden pelt for the fifth time that night, her gaze darting between the short distance to camp and the sound of talking just ahead of her. In addition to being worried about meeting the rest of Lionpride's family, she was also leaving her kits alone for the first time. They were almost a moon old now, but Mousekit and Earthkit were sickly and small for their age and the thought of leaving them filled her with dread. She had spoken to one of the other queens and asked that she keep an eye on her litter, and they had just eaten and fallen asleep before she left but still...
And that still left the matter of Lionpride and Littlestar inviting her to this at all. She wasn't a part of Littlestar's family, not really. She and Lionpride were...complicated. They were dear friends, sure, and were currently co-parenting their kits together. That, coupled with the mess of her kits calling him their father... The she-cat was eaten up with nerves when she finally came close enough to the gathering to make out what they were saying. She had left the nursery as soon as the kits fell asleep so that she didn't run the risk of waking them up to leave later, but that meant that she was ahead of Lionpride.
Should she go ahead and join without Lionpride and have the awkward conversation about why she was there in the first place, or should she wait for Lionpride and run the risk of someone spotting her lingering about? "Sun God give me strength," she groaned under her breath, wishing she could just go back to her nest, snuggle in with her kits, and let this whole thing pass by. She waited so long to make a decision, it seemed that one had been made for her when she heard a voice call out her name.
Satinlights listened to the conversation between her mate and mother, assuming it was just another lecture in the making, she'd heard it several times, and wasnt interested in hearing it again but she couldn't bring herself to interrupt or start an arguement. This was supposed to be a fun family get together and that's what it was going to be. The sun God could at least give her that after all she had been through in the last moon. Out of the corner of her eye she'd spotted movement, and turned just in time to see Sanguinerose. Her mood perked up at the sight of the golden she-cat.
"Sanguinerose! Over here!" She waved in greeting with her tail to signal the queen over. The young janus had been extremely grateful to her for taking in her niece and nephew and treating them like her own.
"No, you're not, how could I forget? There's Foxbane too. And Mountainsound." Bloodyrondo chuckled, starting to feel a little uneasy. Why was Littlestar so stuck on this topic, especially that whole bit about first time queens? He's pretty sure that of the current lineup the only she-cat that fit the bill was Tinymutiny, who Bloodyrondo barely knew and thought was kind of weird. His expression read bewilderment but unfortunately the two brain cells that actually worked in this tom's mind couldn't figure it out, "So anyway, what do you think about the whole Elemental thing? Crazy right? The only cats who should have powers like that are the Gods and those favored by them. I wonder if the Sun God chooses which cats in SunClan are born with these abilities or if it's out of his control. Surely he has a say in it, don't you think?"

Sanguinerose's ears pinned to her head, her eyes closing with dread. She'd been caught, just her luck. The voice sounded like Satinlights, who she from her interactions with Lionpride but no further than that. Forcing a smile, she padded forwards and tried to project self-confidence. "Oh, Satinlights, nice to see you!" she mewed, eyes flicking between the high-ranking cats present. She didn't belong her, not even a little. "Uh, hello to you too, Littlestar, Bloodyrondo." She dipped her head in respect, head rising in her cheeks as she could only imagine what they were thinking about her. She quickly took a seat next to Satinlights, glad the other she-cat had welcomed her with such ease, at least. "You look radiant," she mewed softly to the she-cat next to her, not wanting to interrupt the conversation between the Priestess and her Promised.
Suddenly Bloodyrondo could feel his cheek being pinched between two claws.
"Why are you here?" Arcticpaw asked, her claws curiously pulling at his cheek before letting go. Bloodyrondo had been a very curious person, for one her mom had called him idiot brother at one point. This was very upsetting because he was not her brother, therefore she refused to call him such a thing. Then he was being attacked by Funkson, his own sister, which was very odd because siblings loved each other. She had to save his life, which meant that if she hadn't been there he would die so technically his life belonged to hers. Which was great because his cheeks were very soft to pinch.
Bloodyrondo didn't have any time to reply to Sanguinerose's introduction when Arcticpaw interrupted and pinched his cheek. His ears pinned against the back of his head then slowly lifted his left paw and placed it right in on the center of the she-cat's head, pushing very, very gently, "You're gonna ruin my face paint, Arcticpaw. And you know why I'm here; your sister is my mate, so I'm your brother-in-law." He was doing his best to be patient with her, like most of the Clan he knew she was a little delayed compared to her siblings, but unfortunately Bloodyrondo was easily annoyed, "Why don't you go sit next to Littlestar?"
Arcticpaw froze up, her pupils dilating at his touch as though he had just electrocuted her. The entire time he spoke she stood there, still as a stone in a storm. Occasionally rocking against an invisible force, but always returning back to her still position. Her head shook once with a primal kind of anger that made her gaze look wrong, almost distracted. She didn't make eye contact with Bloodyrondo, instead her olive gaze was on the floor, "If you ever touch me again I'm going to stab you with my claws until you cry." Her voice came out calm and gently soft for the threat she just made.
That... Was arguably an improvement. Typically she would just bash her claws into someone's face repeatedly if anyone touched her or she would hit herself. Training with Littlestar she had more resilience from the lizard part of her brain that purely reacted. Of course, manners was another beast entirely to tackle. She was very honest and wasn't going to sugar coat her future intentions or stop herself from elaborating why he shouldn't touch her. Still though, she seemed to have recovered from her initial outward anger. Padding away from the priest promised she returned over to Littlestar, but her fur was pricked up just slightly with agitation from conversing with Bloodyrondo. Back beside her mom though she returned back to the smiling girl she typically was. While most people rested their face when thinking of something she always smiled sweetly when she became lost in her imagination. People could only wonder what she was thinking about, but whatever it was it always looked pleasant judging from her facial expressions.

Before Littlestar could answer, Articpaw had pressed herself between them an pinched her promised cheek. She sighed, but let the scene unfold. Only tensing as Bloodyrondo touched her... Not everyone understood her quirks, but as she only threatened to stab him, she relaxed actually quite proud of the self control she had showed. It was a big improvement to be sure. She motioned for her to sit, placing her paw near her daughters a slight purr rumbled in her throat so that the vibrations could comfort her without actually touching her.
Littlestar looked back to Bloodyrondo, continuing on with the conversation as nothing had happened "Anyway... Naturally the Sun God has control over the elementals. Even the ones he doesn't create, he guides them where they are meant to be. The Sun God has a way of making things right, like blessing couples with kits to bring them closer" she narrowed her gaze on Bloodyrondo and Satinlights again
Skipstep let out a soft sigh as he took in the family all together. He couldn't help the warm glow in pride of this being the family he'd made with Littlestar. But as he saw Bloodyrondo and Satinlights weren't quite picking up the trail Littlestar was leading them on he let out a sigh shaking his head.
"Are you certain that''s-?" He asked cocking his head at Bloodyrondo, casting a glance towards Satinlights as well. Then he realized he'd spoken up as Littlestar had and he ducked his head to his wife falling silent to let her continue.
Once Littlestar finished he spoke again. "Apologies darling, I was feeling a bit euphoric with all our family together I might have zoned out a little," He said rubbing his cheek against her affectionately in apology.

Lionpride
SunClan Warrior
The Loveable
Lionpride arrived a few moments later, running up and sitting beside of Sanguinerose "Sorry I am late!" he fretted, still looking rather tattered after is stay in prison and Mousekit falling ill "Mousekit woke up and begged me not to leave, and I just couldn't leave her..." the small she-kit had been rather sickly lately, and he had refused to allow her out of his sight, afraid that he would pass just like his mate had. Even now, he just want to get back to her and the others, only leaving once Mountainsound had agreed to check in her. eventide

Littlestar leaned in giving him a sweet kiss on his cheek "It really has been far to long, we should do this more often" she purred. When had they all been together like this? Not since Fernskip and Lionpride had been apprentices, and her second litter had been newborns. Even now her stomach was heavily swollen with kits that were due to make their arrival at any point. Ever since they had tied the knot, she rarely tried to hide her affection any longer. "I hope all of our children find someone as wonderful as you, and experience what a blessing it is to have kits of their own"

Jetpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Sweet
Having been watching for a little while for the right opportunity, suddenly a gray blue leaped out from behind the sandstone barreling straight towards Skipstep full forced without any sign of stopping "DDDDAAADDDDDD" she screamed her voice echoing on the soothe stone. It was a game she like to play with him, announce her attack and see just how well he would manage to avoid it. However the move she had planned next, was sure to surprise even the experienced Janus.
Skipstep purred rubbing his head against Littlestar's, though his ear swiveled as he detected Jetpaw's battle cry. Straightening up he turned towards the source spotting Jetpaw incoming. Chuckling he rolled onto his side and twisted in a quick rolling maneuver to recover his paws so his daughter would impact the space where he'd been while he put some space between any rough play and his pregnant mate.
After all far be it for him to deny Jetpaw, but he didn't want to involve Littlestar in the games.
"What in the world is wrong with your sister?!" Bloodyrondo complained to Satinlights, rubbing his paw against his now sore cheek, apparently he didn't care about the paint anymore. He knew she didn't like being touched but he figured it was fine seeing as she had initiated it. He hadn't expected such a dramatic double-standard. Whatever. The Priest Promised wasn't going to let Arcticpaw ruin his mood. He sighed and put his paw back down. He, like Littlestar, was cool with just pretending that hadn't happened and was eager to return to conversation except... the High Priestess had circled back to the topic of kits again. And again. Bloodyrondo just had to ask, "What exactly are you getting at, Littlestar? You keep talking about kits like every she-cat here is carrying them!" He nuzzled Satinlights, "As much as I'd love that, of course we are waiting until Satinlights is Warrior age."
