Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Nearly two moons had past since SunClan and DayClan's alliance broke after a DayClan patrol found two missing DayClan cats on SunClan territory, unconscious. Since then the two clans had tried to investigate what cat could have done this to no avail. However thanks to Foxbane's investigation it was discovered that it was Kotori from Primal Instinct, Glowstar's nephew, but besides that the connection to why he would do this is still widely unknown. In order to reestablish SunClan's innocence and alliance with DayClan Kotori is now awaiting his execution.
Kotori was smaller than most cats imagined, not tiny as a kitten, but shorter than most toms. He was all black with half a white face and an old scar running down his shoulder. It didn't take much speculation for others to assume this wasn't just his act alone that had sabotaged SunClan and DayClan's alliance. With his short size it would have been hard to drag a fully grown warrior from DayClan to SunClan. Not impossible, but to go completely unnoticed was a leap too far in logic. This was his third time awaiting execution, only this time it was a different clan, but at least this time he hadn't killed anyone. He was well guarded and was told to sit and wait, this was so SunClan could gather Glowstar so that she could witness the traitors death. Despite being up for execution for the third time, nothing about this felt normal. His fur was spiked all the way up and he couldn't stop the fear scent that resonated from him.
Gingersnap watched from nearby, she was very young, but was filling in as soothsayer for her mother. She almost wished she wasn't in this moment, normally she was a janus, she could be helping guard Kotori and maybe stab him with her claws a few times. The only pity she had was that he refused to share any information on who he worked for no matter how many times they tried to get it out of him.
Arcticpaw was sitting closer up to the action and looked to the person next to her, "Have you ever seen an execution before?" She asked, this would be her first. She never considered her thoughts morbid, not even in this moment, but she did want to see what it was like to watch the life drain from this traitor. It was like he wasn't a person anymore to her, not when he was so bad.
"No, I haven't." Discordantpaw replied to Arcticpaw, her eyes shining with curiosity but also a bit of apprehension. She had never personally spoken with Kotori but she had seen the tom numerous times when visiting her father in the League. Discordantpaw was a SunClan cat, sure, but she viewed Primal Instinct as a sort of second home, and she was worried about the implications this may have in the allegiance of the two groups. She was not nervous, but the emotion she was feeling was akin to it, and it made her unsheathe and resheathe her claws into the dusty ground while she waited for something to happen, "Have you?" --- Bloodyrondo glared up at Littlestar and Moonlitnocturne. He should be the one up there, standing beside his High Priestess, overseeing this event but instead, here he was, mixed in with the Initiates. This was the first execution he had been old enough to attend and he didn't even have a good view of it. At least this meant that tensions with DayClan aught to wain, since SunClan had managed to capture the true culprit and all. Bloodyrondo had no idea of Kotori's connection to the DayClan. --- The crime certainly did not fit the punishment, that much Roble knew. He was shocked to hear that a cat was going to be executed for just knocking a couple other cats out for a few hours. No one died, no one was really even hurt. He glanced up at the High Priestess and gulped. If SunClan executed for such minor an offense, where did they draw the line? --- Kissy had volunteered to stay with the kits during all this and presently was grooming one of her younger siblings.

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Finding the culprit of the incident with DayClan had left Littlestar with little choice. She had promised Strikhedoniadalisy that if found out, the culprit for breaking their alliance would be brought to justice. The order of his execution was a public show SunClan's innocence in this matter, and the result would have been the same no mater whoever had been manipulating the situation. Even if it had been one of her own SunClan cats, they would of faced execution for stirring up such a fiasco in her absence.
However that didn't make the situation any easier for her. Sure this wouldn't be the first cat she had killed, but it would be her first execution as High Priestess. It didn't feel right to simple slaughter a cat that had no chance of defending themselves, but to not stand by her word would not only be breaking her word but showing weakness. She watched the janus that had Kotori encircled, as the clan jeered and called for his blood as they awaited Strikhedoniadalisy's.
She would give the leader two choices. Kotori could time a swift and merciful death, or Littlestar could make it agonizing. Each of her paws were laced with a different poison, so that no matter what the DayClan leader desired she could carry out the sentence.
Divinepaw was one of the Sunclan cats guarding Kotori. She didnt know much about him besides that he had done very bad things all his life. He was probably getting what he deserved. She turned her good eye to him, seeing the nervousness in his body language and she nearly gagged at the fear scent coming off of him. Why was he so afraid? If he was such a bad cat, he should own up to what he had done and take the execution like a warrior.

Waspkit and Hornetkit sat side by side near the apprentices. Their mother would probably be opposed to them watching the execution so they hoped they would blend in with the apprentices. Waspkit perked his ears at Articpaw and Discordantpaw's conversation. They had never seen an execution either. Was it really that bad? He was beginning to feel nervous so he turned to see how his brother, Hornetkit, was reacting to it. As usual, his brother had a rather bored expression on his face. He was always grouchy and didnt find a lot of things interesting. Waspkit wished he had his brother's confidence. The two brothers were polar opposites but seemed to balance each other out. Waspkit was more quiet, reserved, and shy, while Hornetkit also kept to himself but was more confident with a rough personality.

Swarmingkit walked up to his two brothers, placing a paw on both of their shoulders sitting up on his hind legs "You meanies leaving me behind. I wanna watch the examucuuution to" he had no idea what it was, but if they were not supposed to be here then obviously they had to watch. It had to be something super exciting for them to make the kits stay in the nursery after all. Spot
Kotori found himself growing a little restless, but then again the last few times he waited for execution the wait was a lot longer than this. He stretched out a leg, but could hardly feel it, it felt numb to him as though his body had already disowned itself from him. Was he really going to die this way? He knew a lot more cats didn't want to die because there was unfinished business or things they wanted to live for, but personally he just wanted to live to live. He hadn't ever thought far ahead to decide how he wanted to die. Did he want to go out kicking and scream, bold and stoic, maybe sarcastic and sly.
Unbeknownst to the SunClan cats a pair of amber eyes nearby were watching them. Creampuff turned to look at her leader, "I think that if we ram into them we can just grab him and run and then if someone gets caught we just ram that person and run again," She whispered lowly.
"Shhh!!!" Hornetkit hissed to his annoying brother. "Your going to get us caught! Sit still and dont say anything!"
Flamingstar narrowed her eyes, listening to Creampuff's idea. Although the young cat was lively and determined, there was still much she had to learn. "No." Flamingstar responded. "We must use strategy, here. We cant risk the lives and the safety of our clan mates. I believe we need a diversion. We need to distract the clan while also keeping together so that none of us get hurt. That's where I need you to come in. Your perfect for a distraction." The Nightclan leader flashed a smirk at Creampuff. "You and a few warriors create the distraction. I will lead another party down to rescue Kotori."
"You got it Flamingstar," Creampuff chirped as she stayed low to the ground and carefully scurried off and a little downwards to move in closer on SunClan. Her amber gaze became distracted by the old scent of the cats who left to fetch Glowstar as worry stirred in her belly. They would need to act fast or else Glowstar would arrive and they would act on the execution. At first she nearly immediately sprang up to get SunClan's attention, but thought before she acted. She needed to make sure Flamingstar and her group was in position and once they were Creampuff leapt, "HEY IS THIS MOONCLAN!?" The golden she-cat shouted.
"Oh wow, I've heard such great things about the Moon Goddess," Creampuff dug in, "It makes sense though, the moon is like, a bajillion times better than the sun could ever be. Anyways I've been dying to join MoonClan, you guys sign me up. I'll have my nae be Sunhater or... Moonlover... I don't know maybe someone can help me come up with better names, these are all really lame. Plus it would be pretty weird having your name named after your clans name..." She admitted the more she thought about it.
Kotori's head raised up at Creampuff's presence, his fur standing on end with worry on what she was doing. His gaze twitched down to his paws when he figured this had to have something to do with NightClan. He was tempted to look around, but knew if he did the Janus would follow his gaze and see her so he kept his eyes trained on the ground to avoid temptation.
SUNCLAN
Gingersnap was very new to her temporary job, but felt bad for the poor cat yelling at them. She sounded so misled, it was a good thing she came to SunClan instead of MoonClan. Now she could at least join the right place, what a mistake that would have been if she had arrived in the right clan. "Yeah this is totally MoonClan, you should come closer," Gingersnap said with a friendly smile.
(Spot Do you want Frozenfire to be there as well?)
SunClan
Summersolstice frowned as she sat near some of the other senators awaiting for the execution to go down. Her ears swiveling towards when she heard quiet hisses to be quiet and she turned her head eyes narrowing when she spotted the kits. Sighing to herself, she knew it was kits nature to want to be present for things they weren't necessarily supposed to be doing. But this was no place for them now.
She got to her paws and was about to go over to the two kits when she heard the shout. Ears swiveling in the direction the she cat lifted her head eyes widening as she recognized the she cat, though she was much older than when she'd last laid eyes on her. "Raspberrypaw?" She meowed startled, immediately changing direction to head to her (as far as she was concerned) adopted niece. "Raspberrypaw, what are you doing?"
///---///
Skipstep's eyes narrowed as he turned towards the shout, glancing back at Kotori letting out a grunt when he saw he was still keeping his eyes down on the ground.
This sudden cat coming over to them shouting right before an execution rubbed him the wrong way. He didn't know what the end goal was. But it stunk of something suspicious.
It had been completely coincidental that she had happened to be at the Dayclan border, leading a Regime patrol to check in on the new alliance between her group and theirs. In fact, she had been somewhat bored of the routine check-in, until she noticed that there were hardly any cats to be found. When the Sentinel had finally come across a Dayclan warrior to ask, the reply she had gotten shook her to the very core.
"Sunclan's hosting an execution. Some traitor named Kotori."
That was as far as they had gotten before Gardenia had taken off, leaving the warrior and even her own patrol behind her. Her fluffy cream form seemed to fly over the terrain as she raced to Sunclan, her heart pounding in her chest. Was this it?! Was that murderer finally going to get what he deserved?! Following the scent of a large group of cats, her pace slowed as she finally reached the gathering, heaving in exhaustion as cats stared in surprise at her unexpected appearance. "Please...tell me I'm not too late...I need to see that coward die with my own two eyes!"
"Always a treat to see you to Gardenia." When he spoke his voice grazed her skin like a knife, never even needing to lift his head to know it was her. When he did lift his head he held a rictus smile, exotic green eyes gleaming, "Some would say you're obsessed with me. Bet you'll be disappointed when you can't kill me yourself, but hey, here's a fun fact that scar down my shoulder is from your dear mom and the smile on my face is the satisfaction that you'll never get back what you lost, same as me."
A gleam of copper shimmered wrongfully across his eyes as he spoke. A trait that only Eerie's on Glowstar's side of the family should have. "You're practically slobbering drooling over me with that retched stare of yours, it's flattering."
"Did someone say come over? Okay I'm coming over!" Creampuff said, knowing that if she timed this correctly that NightClan's patrol would meet her in the middle.
"Hey," Skipstep snapped, smacking Kotori on the back of his head. "Don't go thinking you can run your mouth," He warned. From what he'd seen given Kotori's puny size, and hearing the words he spoke like venom towards Gardenia, Skipstep was beginning to understand the toms real weapon. And he was not about to let him wield it.
"Otherwise we'll find something else to fill it," Skipstep warned.
Summersolstice came up beside Gingersnap, moving towards Creampuff, "Raspberrypaw," She stressed, "What are you doing here? I heard about what happened to Soaringstar, and I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you and your siblings. We were going to tell you when you were a bit older... about your true origins, but it seems we were beaten to the punch,"
She frowned, "Has something happened? Has Flamingstar kicked you out as well?"
(Jetclaw, absolutely! All Nightclan members are welcome to participate!)
Flamingstar got into position and watched as Creampuff strolled into camp and caught everyone's attention. As soon as they were distracted, Flamingstar snuck toward Kotori. The guards had their back's turned, watching Creampuff talk nonsense. Flamingstar reached Kotori and tore off the bonds they had on his paws and muzzle. Once the bonds were off, Flamingstar beckoned for Kotori to follow. She paused when she saw the renegade cat barge into Sunclan camp beside Creampuff. They were almost home free when Flamingstar foolishly allowed herself to be distracted by a cat who smelled heavily of the Regime and kicked a pebble she had failed to see which made a loud clank against the other stones and ground. Flamingstar halted, lowered her ears and turned to see all of Sunclan looking at her and Kotori. She straightened up and smiled. "Sunclan! What a surprise! Fancy seeing you here!" At first there was silence. "Littlestar, your looking well."
As soon as she heard his taunting voice, the tiredness of her face vanished into a cold, expressionless mask. Gardenia stepped through the crowd, uncaring of the Sunclan's stares as she pushed past them to meet the tom face-to-face. "Kotori," she spat out the name like poison in her mouth. "I'd make a comment about how far you've fallen, but let's be honest; you've been at rock bottom your entire life." She took a seat in front of him. It was funny, he wasn't nearly as scary as the monster of her memories. He was just sad...and pathetic. A cat who had lost everything.
"And here's some more honestly for you: I might not be able to get back what I lost, but I have more than you ever will. I have the love of my siblings, my family, my group. When I die, I'll actually be mourned and missed by someone. I'll be able to look my mother's spirit in the eyes and know that I did her proud. Can you say the same?"
Before he could answer, a small smirk crossed Gardenia's muzzle, proud and triumphant. "Pebble might pity you in the afterlife, but she'll never love you. You'll always be alone, in death as in life. That is my victory."
(Sorry guys, I replied without refreshing my page so I didnt see the other posts until after I posted! Can we just say that Kotori made that comment after Flamingstar cut him loose? XD I kinda messed up lmao!)
Kotori whimpered as his head was easily smacked by Skipstep, jerking his head down to the side. He swallowed hard at Skipstep's threat and obediently kept his mouth shut, he was beginning to look more and more like punished brat. However he did have the dignity to look Gardenia in the eyes as she spoke, listening to each and every word before soon enough her words were hitting him like claws. He fought the urge to look away, but it was almost too much staying silent and forced to listen. However one thing that bugged him about the serial killers of the league was that they never gave their victims, the people whose lives they ruined the time of day. If he has ruined someones entire life or killed their loved one the least he could do was look them min the eyes than take it than act bored like the countless others.
He seemed to crumple, first his shoulder, his chest seemed to heave inward like he could take another breath and finally his gaze seemed to break into tears. But he turned around to see Flamingstar and looked back at Gardenia stronger, "Actually, I am loved and I spent a lot of time feeling like I don't deserve it, but I've gained enough self respect to know that I want this and I'll fight for it."
Kotori turned leaping into Skipstep's side knocking him over, before springing off of him and back up to Flamingstar's side, claws out and smile wide, "I kind of want to marry you right here and now, is that okay or wrong moment? Littlestar's a priest right?"
Flamingstar's eyes widened. Marriage? She wasnt even sure they were dating. It was just a weird, yet, strong connection they had to each other. Suddenly, fear took over and she backed away. Every person she has loved had always turned their backs on her and she wasnt sure if Kotori would forever be by her side. "U-um. We haven't completed our mission. We need to get you out of here before they kill you."
Frozenfire's eyes narrowed darkly as she listened to Kotori's claim about loving Flamingstar. Bitterness burned in her throat, the loyal guard gritting her teeth together. 'It's thanks to you, Ericanorth is dead,' The icy gray she cat thought. Cold claws of rage gripping her heart, but she forced herself to relax, surveying the area. This could all work out in her favor.
After all the more that were out to see Kotori dead, the more possible allies for her own ends down the line. The thought made her grin and she scraped her claws against the ground. Oh yes, she'd help Flamingstar dig, and dig, and dig. Putting up walls around her as she killed off goodwill with as many cats as possible, all while Frozenfire sat at her side with a smile. Like she was actually satisfied with the disrespect Flamingstar had given her.
She'd claw out Kotori from SunClan's grasp today, only to rip him and Flamingstar to shreds personally another day. And it was that thought alone that made her grin darkly.
///---///
Skipstep grunted as he was knocked down grunting as he pushed himself up.
That set his sister off.
"Sure, she'll preside over your burials," Jetclaw snarled, the tan and black she cat rising to her paws tail lashing as she advanced on the NightClan leader and Kotori, teeth barred. "If anything you've doomed yourself and Flamingstar," The she cat said. "We'll gladly punish her for trespassing." She grinned, flexing her claws pointedly.
Summersolstice straightened up eyes narrowing as she saw Flamingstar, turning her focus away from Creampuff, though she felt angry that her former niece had said nothing to her. "It's been a long time, Flamingstar" She said tone like ice when she said 'star'. "Risking the lives of NightClan cats over the one who tried to wipe everything out?" She noted a growl in her voice. "Do the depths of your callousness know no limit?"

LIttlestar rose to her paws and moving until she stood between Kotori and Flamingstar, and placed him safely back into the circle of Janus'. Now all attention was on the scene up above at the High Priestess' den. Since their marriage, it didn't take much for her to communicate her wishes with Skipstep as she glanced from him to Kotori as she passed by. Something was going on, even though she hadn't quite pieced it together "and you as well Flamingstar" she greeted rather warmly given the circumstances "However, I'm afraid you have come at bad time" she tested the waters, apparently the news of Kotori's execution has somehow spread to NightClan. She wasn't all that surprised that it had, after all DayClan wasn't exactly known for keeping their mouths shut "You see DayClan should be arriving at any moment to restore our alliance, so I'm afraid that I won't be available to host you and your warriors this afternoon even for a wedding. Kotori has another important event that he must attend " she flicked her tail as several of the clan's warriors moved to block the only exit to their camp and the narrow path that lead down it.
Wolfkit had managed to sneak away from his babysitter and joined in with the rest of the more mischievous kits; however, he was much too small to see anything. He tried to force his way in between Hornetkit and Waspkit but all he got was a mouthful of fur. He frowned and planted himself next to the other reject, Swarmingkit, and sighed very dramatically. He was about launch some kind of complaint when Creampuff made her grand entrance. Wolfkit's frustration vanished to be replaced with curiosity and he cocked his head, "Who the hell are these people and what's wrong with that squeaky one?" --- Bloodyrondo's fur bristled at the appearance of one, two, three... just how many outside cats had wormed their was into the heart of SunClan without any cat seeing them? He shot a glare at Moonlitnocturne although his brother wouldn't be able to see it. He plays Priest Promised for what, a moon or two, and already the patrols may as well have been manned by kits. He then turned to face the most offensive of the intruders, Flamingstar. The NightClan leader's intention was all too clear. But... what was her end game here? Freeing Kotori did not help DayClan or SunClan, but it did help the League... his mind was beginning to spiral when he heard Kotori mention marriage and then it was all too clear. Littlestar was the only leader of the Pride Alliance who actually had a mate within her own Clan, it seemed. This was one of the many reasons why he didn't favor the Alliance to begin with.
He opened his mouth to issue orders but cut himself off before issuing a word. He had no authority here, he was just an Initiate. So this wasn't his problem. He turned his celadon eyes back to Littlestar, waiting to hear what she had to say next... but his claws were unsheathed and he was tensed, ready to lash out at the flip of a coin.
