Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(In this adventure the apprentices head out into two-leg place in Sweet Sable Woods when they discover that a two-leg who the cats called Crookedsmile have a kitten mill in his backyard. Cats are being held in cages and bred relentlessly to create purebreds. With time running out before the kittens are shipped to two-leg homes the apprentices have no choice, but to take matters into their own paws and save the imprisoned cats! If you would like to rp one of the cats from the kitten mill you can do so below!)
Crookedsmile's prized possession, she is a rare domesticated Serval bred down to be the size of a domestic cat. She is among the firsts of her kind and was given to Crookedsmile as his house cat. She is not imprisoned in cages like the other cats, but is trapped in his house. She has always dreamt of freeing the other cats, but simply doesn't know how to. She's typically very selfless, but can be uptight when it comes to walking on grass too long and getting her fur wet. She's not used to clan life and doesn't like the idea of it, however she hates the idea of returning home to Crookedsmile more. She is stuck wearing the collar that Crookedsmile had given to her due to it being made of metal and has fears that one day he'll come back looking for her.
All her life she's only known kitten mills, she was born into one and due to the lack of care she lost sight in her eyes turning them white like diamonds. No one wanted to adopt her until Crookedsmile had plans for her in the kitten mill and adopted her since she was low price. Since then Fireopal and her had been caged together for a long time and are very close. They were expected to be shipped off to a professional breeder when the apprentices found them. She's very happy to have freedom in DayClan and choose to have a family or have no family with whoever she would like. She's very shy to new experiences, but once she feels confident she's happy to try even more new activities.
She was Crookedsmile's original pet, but life hadn't treated her well. Crookedsmile frequently abused her by burning her fur, cutting her and throwing items at her in fits of rage. She grew up hardened with hatred for two-leg kind, but more than that grew envious of purebreds. Ever since Adele was adopted she had been living under Crookedsmile's porch, living off of his scraps. She has little sympathy for the cats in the kitten mill feeling that they replace mutts like her. When the apprentices show up she's at first aggressive, but later becomes intrigued by clan life and agrees to help out. She's very cemented in her ways, but little by little is learning to trust others. However she still lashes out easily and is quick to turn on her friends when she feels threatened.
She came from a happy home with a breeder who had a love for long furred Siamese and grew up happily with her mate Bandit, living a peaceful life. However things changed when the two-leg sold them to Crookedsmile. She had been pregnant at the time and was stuffed into a tight cage with Bandit. She was hardly fed and grew sick in the cold conditions of the backyard. Due to this she gave birth to a litter of six, but only one survived. Ever since then things were on a downward spiral. Bandit and her since coming to Crookedsmile's home had grown a part and with a kit to raise there was more tension between the two in the tight quarters. Since being able to move to DayClan she feels relaxed and has discovered she is a natural born hunter.
He came from a happy home with a breeder who had a love for long furred Siamese and grew happily with his mate Lulu, living a peaceful life. However things changed when the two-leg sold them to Crookedsmile. Lulu had been pregnant at the time and was stuffed into a tight cage with him. She had grown sick and weak from the cold conditions and gave birth to six kits, only one of which survived. Ever since coming to the kitten mill his love for her had weakened having bigger troubles to worry about. He often tells his daughter Angel stories about cats in the forest to keep her hope alive. However he worries about Lulu being taken away as she is still his best friend. Since coming to DayClan he feels a bit shocked and shy, but overall tries this best to learn how to hunt.
For a long time Angel grew up only knowing the bars of her cage and being able to walk four steps before hitting a wall. She's heard stories of forest cats from her father Bandit so when the apprentices came to save them it was like a dream come true. Angel is very afraid of Belle as she threatens her when she sticks her paws out of the bars and is always talking bad about her and the other kitten mill cats. She is very petite even for her age and is likely to have a stunted growth due to the bad conditions. She is very in love with the idea of growing up to become a clan cat, but feels put down if someone refers to her as a kittypet. She tries to be as upbeat as possible and loves DayClan, but is very afraid of the other clans.
Most of his life was growing up on the streets and as bad luck would have it he found himself in the pound. However Crookedsmile saved him from death row only to lock him up into a new cage. Since then he's gotten to known Kiki and is very protective of her and the other cats in the kitten mill. He doesn't like to admit, but he's very afraid of what will happen to him. He is the only cat with a good relationship with Belle because he will selflessly give her his food. Having grown up on the street he's a bit distrusting of the apprentices and DayClan and is quick to start an argument if something sounds off. However he is an excellent warrior and great in combat. But he's not sure if clan life is for him or if he should return to his life as a loner on the streets.
Lilacpaw led the way gleefully even though no one in particular was leader of this patrol. It was just her and the rest of the apprentices, no grown ups! Now that they had all been growing up Glowstar had given them permission to assemble their own patrol and go to any part of the territory they wanted, which they chose to be Sweet Sable Woods where some of the two-leg houses were. They figured it would be fun if they found a kittypet or maybe some two-leg food on the way. "Do you think we'll be able to bring back a new clanmate if a kittypet wants to join us?" Lilacpaw asked her fellow apprentices in delight. Typically Lilacpaw was bossy and quick to remind everyone the code and annihilate anyone who thought anything differently than she did. But today she was in high spirits, she finally felt she was being trusted.

(applearoma?)
Pomepaw walked quietly behind his clanmate, taking a few glances around him in wonder. The world seemed to look much different without his mentor or an older cat guiding them. "I suppose that would be interesting." He responded to Lilacpaw quite absently.
"I'm not entirely sure a kitty-pet would join us." Buttercuppaw stated, as a matter of factly as she padded alongside her sister, Lilacpaw. "Theres so much drama between clans, I'd understand if they wanted to stay away. But I suppose we won't know until we get there."
Lilacpaw bumped into Buttercuppaw playfully, "Jeez Buttercuppaw, do you always have to be such a downer, can't you at least reply with an optimistic, "Yeah, maybe," Lilacpaw laughed, making her voice raise up high with such a fake little girls voice it almost made everyone in the group cringe. She rolled her eyes at Pomepaw, "More than interesting, how about super cool! We would be heroes if we brought back more cats to help out DayClan."
She smirked, but soon stopped short when they came across a massive tall wooden picket fence. Lilacpaw had never seen anything like it, there was little to compare it to, they were like sticks coming out of the ground, but too smooth and perfect to be real. There was some part of her that told her to jump on top of it and on instinct she complied with the urge leaping up to the top of the fence and vanished leaping off the other side. For a moment she was quiet before yelling over to the apprentices, "Whoa, guys, this place is unreal! It's like a super sophisticated garden down here."
On the other side was a large garden. The small homemade garden had tall tomato plants growing making it difficult for Lilacpaw to spot the cages on the other side of the backyard from her point of view.

"Ah Lilac-" Right as Pomepaw started the other apprentice had already made her way over the strange sticks. "Paw..." He glanced worriedly at Buttercuppaw for a moment before leaping up there himself. "Yeah, uh, it's super cool but um... maybe shouldn't we be a little more careful? I've heard twolegs like to hoard cats in their dens..."
"No! Lilacpaw! Dont!" But it was too late. Her sister had already climbed the fence and jumped to the other side. She shared the same concerned look with Pomepaw before he, too, leaped the fence. "Uh-" she began to tell Pomepaw not to follow but was cut off when he, indeed, followed. Giving a frustrated sigh, Buttercuppaw leaped the fence. "Lilacpaw! You gotta be more careful! We dont-" she was, again, cut off when her eyes saw the giant garden. "Whoa...maybe we can find some herbs and bring them to Brakewings! He would be so grateful!" She blushed at the thought of Brakewings.
"Whoa really, Pomepaw? I wonder why they would do that," Lilacpaw said thoughtfully before her fur fluffed out in annoyance, "Pomepaw I bet that's just rumor. If it doesn't make sense, than it's probably not true, but I guess we could be care-" She smiled as for once her sister seemed happy with something she did. Her fur smoothed over as she lifted her tail high with pride, "I bet we could! If we brought back herbs our clan would be even more healthy and would probably let us go on these patrols more often. Ohh I think this ones an herb," Lilacpaw said, picking off some basil.
Low in the grass was another cat watching them carefully, but so far had yet to make a move.
"Oh, look! I've seen Brakewings use these before! I think he called it Catmint!" She began plucking a few stems when she suddenly felt uneasy. She stopped plucking and scanned the garden but didnt see anything. She couldnt smell anything either because of all the mingled scents of the garden. "Hey, guys. Maybe we should grab these and go. Something doesnt feel right..."
"Oh cool!" Lilacpaw exclaimed, impressed with her sisters memorization in what herbs were important, "He'll be so happy."
Her twitched as she noticed her sister getting antsy, not that she typically cared. Buttercuppaw was always acting like she had ants in her fur at every little wrong possible thing, but this time she couldn't see why they would stay for long. "Yeah okay," Lilacpaw said in agreement as she picked up some herbs she felt looked useful and well... Green.
Out from the garden a scarred she-cat pounced out from behind the tall stalks of vegetables and herbs and into Buttercuppaw, her yellow teeth sinking into the apprentices chest. Lilacpaw let out a gasp but wasted no time in spitting the herbs she was holding to the side and leaping on top of the older cats back sinking her claws into her and biting down with everything she had in her to get this cat off of her sister.
