Yuki-Oona didn't know what to expect when she approached the Moon Creek. Just with the trip up, the white she-cat had been wracked with anxiety. They knew her, Winterclan and Summerclan. Now he had come to shed the name they knew her as. Spectreslight was gone, now she stalked up the hill like a ghost. And she was by herself too, now the new Medium of Moonclan after a short acolyteship. Taking a deep breath, she whispered a small prayer to Selene. Already feeling better, she stepped up and her heart dropped. Sure, she expected Sunclan. But not the High Priestess and Priest Promised. A growl settled in her stomach, and her eyes froze over. Already her guard was being tested, and no one said anything to her. But there was no way, no way she could trust any of them. She wasn't the most trained Medium though, she needed their help. For now, she bit her tongue. Hard. Hard enough to walk past them without muttering a word and settling herself near the water's edge.
“Oh, that’s a bit odd,” she commented, but did not expand on the subject. Their ancestors seemed to most blatantly be there, how could one not believe in them? She kicked the thoughts away. Sunpaw scanned the cats, taking them in. She had never smelled so many different cats before. Some were familiar—SummerClan’s border Clans, to be exact—but the rest were new. The apprentice looked up to the cat who had approached. The swirls stood out the most, and she couldn’t help but stare at them.
“Priest promised of SunClan?” She asked, tilting her head. The other Clans sure were strange. “I mean—I’m Sunpaw! And I really like your swirls.” She circled the new cat, once again staring at the design. “So pretty.”
Suspendedillusion hunched further into himself, eyes flickering from cat to cat as more and more arrived. He watched them interact but made no move to join them himself, having not much to talk about with them. They seemed kind enough, the Springclan medicine cat in particular, but he hadn't come here on his own choice. If the decision had been left to him he would have stayed home, but he knew what the expectations of him were and as such here he was. He almost wished he had waited for Amberpaw so the apprentice could at-least do some socializing on his behalf but then he remembered the younger toms tone of voice when he got flustered about something and all previous regret of leaving him behind was washed away.
When the sunclan cats arrived he tucked his tail tighter around his paws and watched, watched the way they moved into the space as if they commanded it. They reminded him of the cats he used to serve, and it brought a flicker of disgust coursing through him. Not so much for them but for the memories them waltzing among them brought to the surface. Luckily he also knew that those sort of cats would overlook him, the simple fallclan medicine cat who looked worse for wear. Meaning he could watch in amusement as the Summerclan apprentice approached them and the Moonclan cat stalked by obviously agitated while he would be left alone still, hopefully a trend that would continue for the rest of the night so he could leave not having spoken a word. It would be the best outcome for his preferences.
Fawnheart's heart ached for the poor Primal Instinct kitten that was having a late start in life. "Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there have been no known remedies that can boost the growth of a kit. Some are just late bloomers and will eventually become strong and healthy in time. However, thing that you can do for her is make sure she is not exposed to any illnesses and is eating properly. Also, try increasing the mother's milk supply with Borage. It should enrich the nutrients in her milk supply as well and hopefully give the kit any nutrients she may be lacking." Fawnheart explained, unsure if her plan would actually work. "I've never done it before but using the knowledge I have, it may or may not work. It's just something you will have to take a chance on."
“Priest promised of SunClan?” She asked, tilting her head. The other Clans sure were strange. “I mean—I’m Sunpaw! And I really like your swirls.” She circled the new cat, once again staring at the design. “So pretty.”
Graythorn briefly narrowed his eyes when Bloodyrondo came over to them. Then forcing himself to relax and look indifferent, he replied, "I'm Graythorn, SummerClan's medicine cat and Sunpaw's my apprentice." He hoped with her fascination over colors, Bloodyrondo wouldn't influence her away from her belief in StarClan. "So is this your first time here at a half moon gathering?" He couldn't remember seeing this cat before but then he didn't attend all the medicine cats meetings himself.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Spot "Thanks." Blue replied simply, her eyes now on the ground, her stomach in knots all of a sudden. She had already tried all that Fawnheart had directed and her daughter was still failing to thrive. It was very disheartening to hear that there was nothing more she could do. In an effort to change the subject, she looked back up at the SunClan arrivals and noticed how some of the other medicine cats were shooting daggers at the two of them. Blue had never spoken to either of them but she knew of Littlestar and, of course, Bloodyrondo. Her kits were half-siblings to that cocky young Priest Promised, after all. He didn't look much like his father, though. Just the eyes, "So, what's the deal with those two?"
SUNCLAN @peepingpeeper Whitemuzzle Bloodyrondo sort of gave Graythorn to cold shoulder at first, he was way more into Sunpaw. She had complimented him, after all, "Thank you! Sunpaw... what a beautiful name. May the Sun God shine his light on you and your Clan. In his benevolence he continues to favor SummerClan with excess warmth and sunshine despite your heretical ways," He spoke so casually that it was easy to miss that poorly veiled insult. He changed the subject quickly, "This paint is awesome, right? I applied it myself, although one of my subordinates prepared the colors. All full SunClan cats adorn their pelt with these sorts of designs and colors to denote rank and celebrate our deity. Littlestar and I can be more elaborate as she is the High Priestess and I am, well, you know, the Priest Promised. To you that's the same as leader and deputy."
The ginger tom turned his pale green eyes back to Graythorn. He could tell this tom was a bit more reserved than his apprentice and that bugged him, "Yes, this is my first time here. I guess Foxstar - and Littlestar, for that matter - did not attend Half-Moon Gatherings in the past. It's a shame, I'm sure there's much we can teach you folks."
Fawnheart followed her gaze in the direction of Littlestar and Bloodyrondo. "Oh. Them? That's Littlestar, leader of Sunclan and is also their healer, and that's her deputy, or rather her priest promised, Bloodyrondo. He will be the next leader and healer of Sunclan." Fawnheart explained. "I suppose they are alright." She shrugged. "I haven't had much interaction with either of them but Sunclan cats are always flashy." She couldnt say much considering she could be quite flashy herself but she didnt purposely draw attention to herself. Fawnheart was just always naturally elegant and beautiful, turning all heads in her direction when she entered the scene. "I heard Littlestar was recently married and I believe a ,marriage isnt far behind for Bloodyrondo, either. Word has it that he just recently claimed a she-cat as his mate."
A small smile tugged at the edges of the High Priestess' lips watching the bemused apprentice gawk over their paint as the other began to bristle and whisper to one another. All was going as expected thus far "Now, now, Bloodyrondo" she meowed moving forward with a flick of her tail upon his young shoulder "These cats have not yet experienced the power and greatness of our God. Their ignorance is not their fault"
She flicked one ear back in greeting to the cats around them "I'm Littlestar the High Priestess of SunClan. Do forgive the harsh words of my promised. He is still young and inexperienced of the world outside of our borders. He still has much to learn about the other clans " she turned to him with a knowing look "Just because our knowledge of healing and resources are vast, doesn't mean the we should shove it down their throats. It could very easily becoming overwhelming for them"
She purred. “Thanks!” She’s always loved her name—but never really heard anyone compliment it before. The mention of the Sun God confused her. “What’s a Sun God?” She tilted her head, but she quickly changed topics. “It sure is great! Wish I could do that.” She chucked a little, tracing the swirls with her eyes as blue crowded her head. “Though odd colour choices. Red is a brewing storm, isn’t it? And panic. Gold is magical though, so I don’t see the sense of putting them together? I mean red gold? That’s just weird.” She laughed. She had never really experienced red—only orange—and she dreaded the day when she would.
She listened as the tom continued. Leader and deputy? Wasn’t this meeting for medicine-cats only? Suddenly, she felt a bit less special about being here. “Teach me?” She brightened up. “I’d love to learn how to do these swirling things! They’re just, so cool!” Sunpaw turned her attention to the other SunClan cat—their leader, apparently. “Ignorance?” She said quietly, not much expanding on the subject. “Oh—well, I got a lot to learn too!”

SummerClan
As Bloodyrando spoke to Sunpaw, Graythorn cringed inwardly. He knew of his apprentice's attraction to anything concerning colors and hoped this talk wouldn't persuade her to defect from StarClan. Perhaps he was being overly cautious, but small seeds that are sown can take root and grow. Then Bloodyrando's last words rankled him. Was this cat implying he knew more and that made him superior to everyone else? Seething inwardly, Graythorn began to count to ten to clam down. Words spoken can never be taken back and words spoken in anger can start wars.
Placing a smile on his face, the SummerClan medicine cat replied to the flamboyantly colored tom, "Yes, it is a shame. There's a lot you can learn from us as well." Then he dipped his head in deference to Littlestar. He had overheard what she had said to Bloodyrando. So superiority complexes seem to run in SunClan, he thought, wondering what she might think of his comment too. "Glad you can join us," he continued. "It's not often leaders come to half moon gatherings but I understand positions are different now in SunClan."
Amberpaw realized he'd been left way to late. Scrambling out of camp in a full out sprint he headed towards the medicine cat gathering. StarClan above he was late! Hopefully, they hadn't started without him. Though, he was sure they had. Tripping over fallen branches and tree roots, crashing into bushes, and overall, making his fur a mess and delaying him a little more.
The storm grey tom crashed through the entrance to the camp, embarrassing himself, his mentor, and his clan. StarClan should never have chosen this scaredy-cat as the medicine cat apprentice.
Eyes wide he looked around for a familiar face. Stuttering an apology for interrupting, he made his way towards his mentor. "S-sorr-ry."

This wasn't ideal. They could easily end up next to her. She had kept quiet, listening to the other medicine cats talk, feeling alone again. "Different positions, schmifferent positions. Can't they just admit they're here to show off." Yuki-Oona muttered under her breath to no one in particular, standing up and circling around to make her way towards someone, anyone. It was better than sitting there alone. "Hello. I'm Yuki. I'm Moonclan's Medicine Cat." she said to the first non sunclan cat she came across. Course, she was technically the Medium. But she felt no need to throw terms like that around.
"Yes Graythorn, it isn't often leaders come to half moon gathering."
Dusted in silvery starlight was Wispyfeather, a StarClan warrior, her pelt shimmered like diamonds and her size was massive towering over other cats like giants. She had been a DayClan warrior and died a Renegade Regime member, "StarClan has been talking for some time now," Her words cut through the air shattering noise like glass as words spoken felt fuzzy and distant compared to her booming voice that rose like thunder. The StarClan she-cat circulated the crowd, watching the group of medicine cats, "Some of you dare come here even when you have turned your backs on StarClan, your ancestors, your roots. Those who do not worship StarClan are not welcome here." Her voice grew cold as a fog blew in from the creek, it was dense and any non-believer in StarClan standing near it was pushed forward away from the creek, by what felt like high winds. Wispyfeather's fur blew in and out from the wind, it was tangible on her even when she was dead.
"Those who do not believe in StarClan are no longer welcome in Moon Creek. We will not lean on you for help, you are a danger to StarClan's very existence and therefore all clan cats who will inevitably meet a warriors death. Leave now or be forced out," Wispyfeather hissed.

NIGHTCLAN Ahava Vairocana was quite late, wasn't she? Well, that couldn't be helped. She'd waited for Turbulentsea, at the entrance to camp for a while, and either he'd left early without notifying her, or he was cooped up in their den. Eventually, she simply left on her own, slipping up quietly to the gathering and tilting her head slightly in curiosity at the presence of Bloodyrondo and Littlestar. She was a strange sort of cat. Exceptionally tall for reasons unknown, with thick rust and shadow laced fur and a white underside and legs. Though all this was notable, it was her face that drew the most attention. Fire scars rippled across her left eye, rendering it blind, and both eyes were void black, pupils lost in the darkness that seemed to cling on her in her dark stripes.
It seemed she'd arrived in the midst of chaos, she noted, as she watched the StarClan cat before her.
PRIMAL INSTINCT strawberrycupid Blue tensed as Yuki-Oona approached her. Fawnheart and Brakewings were to her left and now this MoonClan she-cat was to her right. She hated feeling sandwiched between them but she forced her paws to stay put. If she was going to really be Shaman one day then she had better gain better control of herself. "I'm Blue, from the League. Is this your first time here?" Blue could be a little meek sometimes but she was also very observant. The fact that Yuki picked her of all cats to talk to meant she probably didn't know anyone else here. Or maybe she had bad blood with one of the other attendees. No matter, Blue disliked all cats equally, maybe she aught to try and change that, "Mine too."
Blue shivered suddenly and, seconds later, witnessed... magic? Her icy eyes widened in awe at not only Wispyfeather's visage but also her words. They were all too targeted at cats like her who held not faith in the afterlife. Well, she couldn't deny proof. She didn't like it, though. How dare the dead judge the living? She didn't ask them for advice, and this place wasn't just a seance, it was for learning. How selfish. She didn't say anything, though, and just watched the scene unfold in front of her with her a scowl growing on her face.
SUNCLAN @peepingpeeper WhitemuzzleracerFaith Bloodyrondo turned to face Littlestar when she followed after him. He never knew when she was going to lecture him and was mentally preparing for it when it turned out that she mostly agreed with his words. If the worst thing she could call him was a bit hot-blooded then that was hardly an insult. A smug grin rested on his face as he nodded along to his High Priestess's words in total agreement, "You are right, they probably wouldn't understand it all, few Clans have access to the types of herbs we use anyway."
He turned his gaze back tun Sunpaw who he decided may have what it takes to Initiate into SunClan. She was curious about the Sun God, had an eye for color and seemed very agreeable. She also had complimented him and continued to do so, "There must be a major flaw in your education if you have never once heard of the Sun God... Tell you what, you should come to SunClan and visit. I'll show you all of our paint and maybe even introduce you to the Sun God himself. " She didn't need to know that an invitation to SunClan was one-way.
Lastly he addressed Graythorn. He was pretty sure this tom knew exactly what he was saying. While Bloodyrondo wasn't the most observant tom in the world, he could sense a the hostility, "Well, since SunClan leadership doubles as healers, it only makes sense for us to come." He drew his paw up to his mouth to groom himself a little when Wispyfeather appeared. He slowly put his paw back to the ground.
Bloodyrondo had never seen a StarClan cat. The closest he had gotten was the Sun God himself, which was much more vibrant and authoritative than this prissy she-cat. StarClan cats were just spirits. They had no power. They weren't special, not like the Sun's Chosen, who had their own personal isle as well as full access to StarClan's skies, not that they would ever use it. Whatever, he did't listen to DayClan she-cats in life and he sure as heck wasn't going to listen to them in death, "How dramatic. The big shiny she-cat is throwing a fit." He said to Littlestar loud enough for all to hear. Next he addressed Wispyfeather directly, "Go back to your skies and stop worrying so much. The Chosen of the Sun don't need your protection or your advice, but it's cute that you're trying."
Fawnheart was just about to welcome Yuki-Oona to their small little group until Wispyfeather's appearance drew her attention toward the starry warrior, her eyes widening in awe. Usually they had to lap up drops of the water from the Moon Creek before they saw Starclan. It was unlike them to appear so openly. Immediately, Fawnheart dipped her head. It was always polite to show their ancestors respect regardless of which clan or group they were apart of in the living world. Fawnheart's ears twitched as Bloodyrondo addressed the Starclan warrior with disrespect. The Springclan medicine cat normally isnt easily angered but Bloodyrondo's disrespectful words pushed a certain button that just ruffled her fur. However, she would let Wispyfeather handle this one. She dared not move from her position as much as she wanted to correct the Starclan warrior that these meetings were also to share their knowledge on herbs and remedies - not just to share tongues with Starclan. Though, perhaps Starclan had a reason for all of this.
Sunpaw burned with curiosity, feeling the purple—lighter in colour than the typical wonderment—crowd her mind. It was like a mist. They had different herbs? Herbs that SummerClan would never have? That sounded so cool! As Bloodyrondo continued, a speck of shame splashed magenta. She felt a little defensive. “Well, I just started is all! Graythorn is a great teacher.” She glanced back at her mentor, turned to the tom before her, and immediately brightened. He probably didn’t mean to sound rude. She filled with excitement at his next words. “Visit? Oh—I’d love too!” The invitation made her blue, which chased away the purple and magenta instantly. It flashed for a moment, once again becoming a familiar mist.
At the new voice, Sunpaw turned to the new cat. And they were glowing, as if made of starlight. She was absolutely filled with wonderment that she barely caught the she-cat’s words. A StarClan cat! “Oh my StarClan—I mean—you’re StarClan!” She brushed passed Bloodyrondo towards the StarClan cat, nearly tripping over her paws. Could this meeting get any better? She stopped at the cat’s tone. “But I thought this was a time all healers got together?” She questioned without really thinking. She wanted to sound as far from rude as possible. “Oh, ma’am, I’m very sorry for my disrespect! And—and Bloodyrondo shouldn’t disrespect you either.” She turned to the tom, not mustering enough courage to send him a glare.

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar stood strong, despite the cold winds the blew against them meeting the stary she-cats gaze with her own. While Bloodyrondo was quick to attack he with words, Littlestar remained calm and composed as her long her whipped around small frame "We were sent to moon creek this night by the Sun God to serve our clan. StarClan may hold power over the other clans, but we were chosen to serve a higher power" SunClan cats had always acknowledged existence, but did not worship them the way the other clans. In their religion StarClan was one of only three possible afterlives that a SunClan cat could choose. The SunClan cats that choose to enter into StarClans skies were the Sun Gods messengers, choosing to help carry out his will even after death.
"Just as you speak for the clans warrior ancestors that walk among the stars I speak for my God. My faith in him is unwavering, we are his chosen. Do what you must StarClan warrior "
"Oh please, do you really buy that any of those cats are Gods?"
This time it wasn't Wispyfeather who spoke, but the she-cat who had been resting by the creek since the start. She looked almost real, but the way the shadows wicked around her proved she was a Dark Forest cat. She was fluffy and pretty, she didn't look like the type to belong in such a place, but the way her yellow eyes look at them with carnivorous intent proved otherwise, "They're powerful cats I'll give them that, but they just decided they were Gods. They're not the real deal. Call them for what they are, something powerful that you fear to the point you'll bow to them. It's pathetic, but hey, MoonClan, SunClan, and WinterClan never really had that much of a backbone before their Gods came along so good for you I guess?" Yellowmoon asked with a tip of her head, her teeth were showing like knives.
"That's enough, Yellowmoon," Wispyfeather hissed at the Dark Forest cat, there was clear distaste to have to lower herself to walk beside such a heinous being to denounce the Gods.
"But she is right, your Gods are powerful beings, but they're not here to serve you, you serve them. StarClan has always been here to serve you because we were once like you. It is why we were able to coexist with the Blind Protector. But these Gods have not earned their place among you, they wish to take and be worshiped. Please, just take a moment and think if it is truly worth it to give your soul to these Gods and be commanded your every move rather than to be guided by StarClan and free to roams the skies as you wish. These deities and guardians are not here for you. I am not here because I have to, I am here on behalf of every Moon, Sun, and Winter ancestor who still believes we can return to our old ways," Wispyfeather pleaded.
"So, your here to try and convert them back to believing in Starclan?" Fawnheart spoke up, giving a cautious glance toward Yellowmoon before meeting Whispyfeather's star-filled eyes.
